Psychic Visions #13

Itsy Bitsy Spider

Rate this book
Queenie Landry's job as a fortune teller at an amusement park pays the bills but it's a far cry from the respectable psychic advisor role she once filled at the police station where the love of her life, Kirk Wallace, was a detective. A case went bad when she steered the team in the wrong direction and a woman died. Queenie experienced a horrific crisis of faith in her own abilities and pushed everyone away. Nine months later, alone and denying her psychic gift, she gives birth to a son and feels redeemed. But a happily-ever-after isn't to be. Following a severe illness, Queenie wakes up eighteen months later only to be told her son died. Unable to handle her grief, she opens herself once more to her abilities, desperate to connect with her child. Resigned to telling fortunes at the park, she's stunned when a man walks into her tent and she sees a vision of a woman he's murdered. She realizes she has to contact Kirk again. Kirk left under duress. Though he regrets his decision, he's never forgotten Queenie or found anyone to replace her. Having to be the one to tell her about her son's death all but destroyed him because he knew it would unhinge her and he isn't sure how she'll ever find stability again. Unknown to either of them, someone has been watching her for a long time, someone who likes to play games with other people's lives-as he has Queenie's. But even he's confused by the creepy spiders amassing all around her. What message are they trying to convey to her that she's stubbornly refused to hear...and what price will she have to pay if she fails?

Yessss I love this second chance paranormal suspense romance and definitely one of my favorite from Dale Mayer.
Two people who shared horrible past meet again with dangerous cloud hanging above them. Last time they didn't make it, will this time they can survive and unscathed?
Ooohh I love the story. From the first chapter I can feel the despair and struggles, really tug my heart strings and got me a bit teary, then combine that with mystery that got my heart racing and awesome supernatural things, and all the love sweet moments that warm my heart, this book totally unputdownable. Even those creepy crawly spiders can totally amazed me, even though they made me cringe. Yup I love everything about this book.

As for characters, love Kirk and Queenie, it's hard not to love this couple. Queenie is an amazing strong woman, even though she's looking like a fragile woman, she's been through hell and back and got more stronger, wiser and with amazing power too. As for Kirk, at the beginning I felt like he's just taking advantage of Queenie, but the more I read and found out the truth, I can't not loving this man. So yeah these two are meant to be together.

If you're looking for suspense read or paranormal read or second chance romance read, this one is a MUST-READ.

I always love Dale Mayer’s Psychic Visions books. Those were kind of books that have it all. Paranormal, suspense, romance, all complete with drama. And this one was no different. It tugged at my heart, made me teary at times, sat at the edge of my seat due to the suspense. Perfect!

I admit I was sceptical at first. I was not a fan of second chance romance. Too many baggage. However, these two characters, Kirk and Queenie, were so loveable, beautiful and heart-breaking at the same times. I found myself felt okay with the drama came from second chance romance and loved the rest of it.

There are not many paranormal-suspense-romance book out there that could be this good. Most tends to be over the top. This one, though, simply the best.

I was provided a complementary copy by the author / publisher through Booksprout, but this in no way influenced my thoughts or opinions.

A highly emotional, suspenseful story…

This is the thirteenth book in the Psychic Visions series.

A self-trained psychic, Queenie Landry is the real thing. She used to advise a police force, helping Kirk Wallace, her detective lover, close numerous cases but the work took a toll on her physical well-being, emotional state, and unprotected psyche. When she couldn’t save a woman from a killer she went into a deep spiral of guilt and shoved everyone away, denying the abilities she no longer trusted. Realizing that she was pregnant gave her the strength to put her life in order and for a while, it was, until she collapsed from an illness that sent her into an eighteen-month coma. Awakening to learning her son was dead and cremated was another devastation, but this time Queenie reached for the abilities she’d denied in an attempt to touch her son’s spirit and as she couldn’t find total acceptance in her current reality she hunted for him even if people thought her unhinged.

The worse thing that can happen to a mother is to lose their child, when that mother is also psychically bonded to that child in a way that most can’t comprehend then the loss is that much worse. Reduced to working as a fortune teller at an amusement park to obtain the funds to survive and continue searching Queenie meets a killer who walked into her tent demanding a reading, her sense of compassion for the victim leads her to contact Kirk again whether she’s ready to open up that part of her life again or not. Neither has moved on from the other and there’s more to what she’s seen than she has yet to realize, she’s also being watched by a non-friendly entity who garners amusement manipulating people’s lives. Can Queenie and Kirk get past the pain of their past to make a lasting connection? And what do the spiders that seek Queenie out bringing her visions of a child in need want from her?

This was a highly emotional, suspenseful story filled with heartbreaking sorrow and an intricate multi-layered mystery to be solved. The main protagonists were intriguing and relatable, this reader wanted them to regain what they once had; their feelings were quite palpable. There were multiple points of views: Queenie, Kirk, and the evil unknown watcher. Other psychic characters from the series provided assistance to Queenie who grew from all the turmoil she’d suffered into the psychic she was meant to be. Love, loss, and personal growth were prevalent themes, the ending was explosive and quite satisfying. This was a great addition to the series.

An advanced reading copy was obtained from the author.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider is one of the best books I've read lately. It is a deeply emotional story about friendship, generosity and love.
The narration is fast paced, but never rushed, giving the reader an opportunity to empathise with the situations that are presented throughout the story.
The characters are vividly depicted and well defined. Even though their abilities are peculiar, they still fight, suffer and struggle like very realistic and relatable human beings.
Queenie, the heroine, is a strong, tormented, reliant and extremely generous individual. She has managed to recover from atrocious circumstances, building a new life for herself, with a few good and caring friends. When her past come crashing down on her, she summons the courage to face it. While she fights to get back what has been taken from her years ago, she proves to be an intelligent and resourceful person. Her dominant trait, however, is the incredibile generosity that she demonstrates towards her fellow human beings. She is incapable of holding grudges, ready to forgive, and happy only when she gets to offer unconditional and sincere love.
Kirk, the male protagonist, is rational and intelligent, with a generous heart.
He has a successful career and a satisfactory lifestyle, but has never been really able to forget the times he spent with Queenie in the past.
Early in the story, both Queenie and Kirk understand the need to work together to solve the numerous challenges that they must face. Once a couple, and a very strong team, they had lost each other long ago. Nonetheless they simply can’t avoid to rekindle their connection and trust that allow them to combine their respective strengths.
The story is populated with many other characters, human and not, each of them brightly depicted and with a unique personality, each of them bringing an original and important contribution to the story.
Finally, the continuous presence of Stefan, the leading individual of the psychic group that inspires the story, gives a nice continuity with the rest of the series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Opinions and comments are solely my own.

When you give so much of yourself, you leave nothing in reserve you become depleted...

What an emotional journey this will be for both Kirk and Queenie. So much has happened, so much has been lost, buried in sadness. Adrift in pain, loss and manipulation. It is a story about connections that need to be resolved and put back together to regain a balance within their world. An evil presence, a voyeur, someone who has invaded Queenie’s world and doing their utmost to learn, evolve, manipulate and destroy. A game that will have severe consequences.

It’s a tempestuous story from the first page turned to its conclusion. One of those stories that is a second chance, redemption, to heal and the strength to move forward into something better than before.

It’s also a story within a story. One of caring and nurturing those who need our help above all else, yet connected to what is happening in Kirk and Queenie’s life. A kindness, empathy and ultimately about connections with friends who are family, new friends who come to our aid and an old friend who should have been there all along. Time heals and strengthens broken bonds if one willing to listen from the heart.

Dale Mayer, gifts you Kirk and Queenie’s journey. If you love dramatic, paranormal suspense/intrigue, story twists and turns with a dash of fear of the arachnid kind that will leave your tingling… what are you all waiting for?

Dale delivers this and more, in another page turning Psychic Visions book. This book is our bonded connections - that of the animal world, in particular, spiders, but also with those that return to our lives when you least expect and when you need them the most.

The gifted psychics, Stefan, along with Dr Maddy make their presence felt. With Stefan… a new level of attitude emerges… I was stunned for a moment, yet found it refreshing and completely understand the why’s. Both will undoubtly lend their strength and capabilities to find and restore balance against a foe not seen before.

Dale’s books, can be read stand alone but to gain that sense of familiarity and the special psychic connections within their world, it would be highly recommended you catch up on previous books inside this series to gain that better perspective. This book was an emotional roller coaster of sadness, pain and angst, Such a beautiful story, I had so much pleasure in reading and always love revisiting the Psychic Visions world. I highly recommend this book and this series.

I just reread this novel...

Novel 22 of the Psychic Visions series brought me back here. One would wonder why, but "The String of Tears", brought me back to two of my favorites, this novel and "Eye of the Falcon", two of my favorites but not just them.
This novel stood out in a similar unique way as "Eye of the Falcon", the ability to connect with any of God's creatures, certainly more so than the two legged kind.
Spiders, so many spiders. Yet, they are still creatures that can connect and do amazing things.
This is something that Queenie learns, slowly however, as is the norm that creepy crawlies bother her as the do most people. But Queenie is different, she is a psychic, abet working in an amusement park, still a spider comes and delivers a message through her crystal ball that is simply for looks.
The message so moves Queenie when another refuses to leave she knows that it's going home with her.
Kirk her ex boyfriend, through circumstances rather hard and unusual makes him he ex, also reappears in her life. Kirk was and is more than her boyfriend, he is her life partner. But along the way, life, darkness, and evil broke them apart.
Now that's enough of the novel, my point is Ms. Mayer's use of the immense connection between mother and child(ren), as well as the amazing connection between humans and animals makes you wonder and think about what we see in our lives that reinforces what she puts into words.
This one moved equally as "Eye of the Falcon" did, the connection between a human and animals is unparalleled. Inexplicable, yet it does exist. Animals can be trained, certainly, but the bond they commit to with a human cannot be trained. It exists or it doesn't.
So, there are many instances were peoples are described as dog whisperer, horse whisperer, or simply put, animal whisperer. When asked about how, many of these individuals who allow such questions to be published simply explain they listen, they feel, the hurts and joys go two ways... Inexplicable. Yet, Dale Mayer makes it believable and understandable!

Beautiful novel!

Queenie is a psychic, the real deal like Stefan. She's working at an amusement park answering a question for five dollars. She is using her gifts, but her boss Carlos isn't a believer so he's tending to overwork her. This particular day a spider decides to show up and walk across her table. Now spiders aren't her favorite things so the urge to pick it up surprises her. The images she sees with the spider on her hand are startling and bring back painful memories. This was immediately followed by a man wanting to know if he would be acquiring a particular property. The vision Queenie gets is fast and overwhelming. This man had killed. Then the spider was back and what she hears really sets her off balance.

This event starts Queenie on a different kind of journey. She contacts her ex Kirk a Seattle detective, only to regret the call and sends an email with the visions details. They aren't enough to pinpoint the body or convict the killer but they were something to follow up on.

Kirk and Queenie broke up after she fell into the depths of despair after losing her son to illness. She herself was in a coma when he died, and although they have the signed cremation documents she doesn't remember ever signing them. She sent him away and he didn't come back.

Kirk pays her a visit after a woman comes to the station to report her mother missing. The details fit.

Stefan answers her call for help, but he also tells her he can't see the entity. For Stefan that is unusual and a bit scary. He also helps her with the spider issue she appears to be dealing with, they hold some very interesting information.

Kirk works on finding the missing woman, and finds himself more and more intrigued as to Queenie's abilities. They are so much more than they were before.

I loved the way things slowly build and intertwine in this one with intrigue, suspense and a second chance romance.

I think many of us understand that when someone as close to us as a spouse, sibling, or child is missing, in our hearts we can feel that person’s presence or absence and know whether they are alive. Then we never stop searching. In Queenie’s case, a series of unfortunate events weakened her and she collapsed. Her psychic abilities were disregarded by the very people she had helped, including the police detective whom she had never told that her son was also his son. As vehemently as people insisted that Reese had died and been cremated while Queenie was hospitalized, and as hard as she worked in her Queen Seer job at the amusement park where for $5 one could get the answer to any question, Queenie continued to struggle with her own unanswered questions. Only her fellow amusement park workers gave her unconditional love and support, until one day a new little visitor to her tent literally turned her world around.

Using spiders as the messengers of hope for a young boy trapped in a life of abuse and loneliness is a brilliant plot line as, like many of us, Queenie has to question and overcome her aversion to arachnids in order to rescue the little boy whose image she sees when the first spider touches her fake crystal ball. As more and more spiders arrive to help, and with the help of our old and dear friends Maddy (Maddy’s Floor) and Stefan Kronos (Eyes to the Soul and just about every other Psychic Visions book), Queenie begins to understand the spiders’ communication method and their steadfast dedication to bringing her and the little boy together for both of their salvations.

I literally could not put this book down once I started reading it.

A gifted woman who has lost so much in her life, the love of her life, Kirk, her son, Reese, and now working at a carnival answering questions about people’s lives for $5 a question. Her life has been a roller coaster with plenty of downs that almost broke her, leaving her abilities behind her when one case made her lose everything. Years later she is now honing her ability working at a carnival but all is not as it seems to be. She now has a stalker, she sees a dead woman having her reaching out to Kirk, who’s a detective, and spiders keep coming to her, wanting to try and communicate something to her...will she decipher it and will Kirk welcome her back into his life.
Not my usual type of read but I really enjoyed it as the author knows how to tell a story with suspense, some romance and a mystery that kept me on edge, trying to figure it out before the end. At first I did not like Kirk and everything that he put Queenie through in the past, abandoning her and being able to move on with his life, even having relationships during that time but the author brings it all together at the end and changed my mind. I still didn’t like that Kirk had relationships while they were apart but the flow of the story, everything that was going on, Queenie, the spiders, had me glued to the pages and I couldn’t give it less than 5 stars.

So Good!

This is an incredible story! It takes mind games to a whole new level. This story has stuck with me long after I finished reading it.

When authentic psychics can help find the lost, it leaves an emotional impact no matter who the person is. This story is deep. It digs into who the person is on a level most people don’t understand. When Queenie loses her son and then her son’s father, she is broken. Her climb back to a form of sanity is slow and in a way, healing for her.

This is an incredible page turner that sucks you right into it at the beginning and there’s no stopping until you have turned the last page. It’s very intense, emotional and detailed, as well as chilling but heartbreaking, intricate and spooky. But most of all, it’s soothing and heartfelt when these special people come together along with every freaking spider from near and far, to help Queenie, in her desperate search, to find this little boy.

Justice is served on more than one evil person in the most satisfying ways. I love how intense this story is. Although most people, myself included, don’t care for the crawly creatures in this world, the spiders are incredible. It almost makes me like them, but not quite.

I don’t want to reveal any spoilers so I am saying that if you love mysteries of the psychic nature, thrillers, and mind games, you have to read this book!! It’s that good, best seller for sure!

Excellent job! I loved it!

Although not a thriller kind of person I do love reading Dale Mayer’s books. The 13th book in this series. This book was full of suspense, fear, wondering if you are good enough and the overall love of a mother between a child. Queenie, as a psychic was helping the police to catch the handkerchief killer when they were to late to save the last victim and Queenie blames herself. Pregnant, alone and broke after pushing Kirk away she ends up in hospital at deaths door and her son I’ll. 18m later she awakes from a coma to find her son dead. Kirk was in a relationship with Queenie until the last case broke her. Not being able to do anything but walk away he has often thought about her.

Now 5 years on Queenie is working the carnival but feels a child’s presence when a spider comes to call. But something sinister is working in between the psychic abilities. Manipulating those around him for his own gain. But who is this man? It’s a race against time full of suspense, for Queenie and her friends to find the man involved, save a child’s life and crack the case wide open. Will they be able to save everyone? An amazing book and I know I will read it again. I look forward to the next book.

This is my first time reading one of Dale Mayer's Phychic Visions books but found it very interesting.

Queenie Landry is an amusement park fortune teller since she spiraled downward after trying to save a woman's life that was threatened by a serial killer and her vision was incorrect. She then split with her current boyfriend Kirk Wallace who was a police detective.
Shortly after the spit up she discovered she was pregnant. When her health went downhill as well as her son's they were both hospitalized and she was told her son has died after she woke from a coma and that she had signed the cremation and burial authorization.

Years later she is hearing a little boy's voice calling to her and she has several interactions with spiders, leading her to the location of the little boy who has the same face as Kirk Wallace.

This book is a fantastic mystery involving Phychics, spiders and evil people. It is well written and very entertaining to the point that each time I had to put it down I would grab it up even when I only had time to read a paragraph or two. It definitely holds your attention throughout the entire book

If I could give this more than 5 stars I definitely would!

I received my purchased copy today, but I was given the opportunity to read an advanced copy and I am providing my honest opinion.

DaleMayer’s Psychic Vision booksare riveting, suspenseful, emotional and UNIQUE! Itsy Bitsy Spider does not disappoint! The characters in this book are amazing and the storyline will have you turningpageafter pageuntil you reach the last page. Queenie is not a charlatan, she has the ability to read the future for people, and after suffering a painful loss, she loses herself working as a carnival psychic, earning half of what the people pay, just $5 for a reading. Kirk is a police detective that has never gotten over the Queenie, and when circumstances bring them back together will the years they have been apart, allowing them both to grow, be what they needed to have a second chance?

You can read these books as stand alone, but to connect with the recurring characters such as, Stefan and Dr. Maddy, I recommend you read the entire series. Believe me after reading Itsy Bitsy Spider you will want to read them all.

This was my first time reading this series and I wasn't sure I should start with the word "Spider" in the title. However, I was pretty amazed how these usually frightening creatures were incorporated into the story without my usual response to the word itself. This was a engaging tale about Queenie, a psychic and Kirk, a detective from her past and how they wound up together again to try and save a child. This description only touches the surface of this story. This story involves someone evil entering Queenie's mind and friend's from the past helping her cope with the many problems she encounters. It involves challenges galore and love as well. I really enjoyed Queenie's spunk ( she really goes through a lot) and Kirk's loyalty, (he in his own way has faced many problems). Also there was Stephan and Dr Mandy to help Queenie in the psychic department and the carnival people as well. The ending was priceless---very well done.

Itsy Bitsy Spider is the thirteenth book in Dale Mayer’s “Psychic Visions” series. In spite of that, this book works very well as a stand-alone. However, It is not necessary to have read the other books in order to enjoy this story.

This book starts with a “bang” in the first chapter, and it doesn’t let up until the end. It is hard for me to say too much without spoiling the story. However, Queenie is a psychic who tells fortunes for five dollars in an amusement park. However, at one time, she helped the police discover killers through her boyfriend Kirk.

Kirk is a cop who fell in love with Queenie years ago. Unfortunately their life together crashed several years ago when Queenie messed up on a search she was working on for the police.

This book is a thriller filled with suspense, adventure, missed clues and many road blocks before the reader gets to find out what is really going on. As for the spiders in the title, the reader will shocked when she finds out their importance in this story.

This is definitely a “must-read.”

Queenie Landry is currently working as an amusement park fortune teller but she used to be a physic adviser for the police with the love of her life Kirk Wallace until a case went bad and she steered the teams in the wrong direction leading to a woman''s death. It was then made so much worse when Queenie gives birth to a son but is in a coma sick only to wake up and discover he is dead. It appears an unknown person has been watching them and interfering in their (and other people's) lives. So when spiders start hanging around Queenie they are both stumped on what they want and what message they are trying to tell her. Can he work out what the message is and what it really means?

Lots of drama and danger in this story that centres around Queenie, Kirk and the unknown person. I loved the ending of the story that was very touching but I did find a little bit of the middle of the story a little boring in places. I loved the conversation with the unknown person and working out who it was and what they have done.

Itsy Bitsy Spider by Dale Mayer
Psychic Visions Series Book Thirteen
Queenie has great psychic abilities, but she's had to learn everything on her own. After working with the police to solve cases...one goes wrong and she falls into despair. Life gets better for a while and then tragedy hits again. Now...she's at an amusement park as Queen Seer. Until her past and present mix together...will she be strong enough this time?

Kirk Sanders never found a woman he loved like Queenie. But she'd lost it when a case took a bad twist. Now...after all these years, she's contacted him to tell him about a body. Kirk never really understood all of Queenie did...he just knew they closed many cases. But after that last case...

This is a really “wow” story. It almost had me liking spiders and thinking about not squishing the next one I see. Almost. This is a real page-turner and every page I turned...I loved.

Queenie used her psychic abilities to help her boyfriend, Detective Kirk Wallace, and the police department on cases where they required her abilities. When a case goes wrong she feels responsible and left both her boyfriend and the police department. The only thing that kept her going was the fact that she was pregnant but when she gets very ill she wakes up to find her son has passed away and she is devastated but feels he is still with her.

She now works at an amusement park as a fortune teller until a man comes and she can sense what he has done in the past, so she contacts Kirk to help. What neither of them realized is that someone is playing with her life and psyche, but will they be able to find out who is behind it and why before it is too late?

Queenie and Kirk belong together and were only apart because of tragedy. Before they can have their second chance they are led on an adventure filled with suspense, twists and discovery. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

As usual with this series it packed a punch!! A burgeoning psychic who doesnt quite know all her abilities yet is working as a fortune teller in an amusement park. After being in a coma to discover her son was dead and cremated without her knowledge, her world just shattered. She used to help the police, but after losing a victim and taking the blame she's now wandering. Her ex boyfriend and also cop Kyle isn't doing much better without her. Little did either know their paths would soon cross again....and for more than one reason it seems. A dark entity has attached itself to Queenie and is causing all kinds of mischief. Can she trust some of the visions and feelings she's sensing? Will she fail again...and can she heal her heart and soul. Stefan and Maddy make appearances again in this amazing book filled with mystery, intrigue, adventure and love on a whole new level. I for one can't wait for the next chapter in this BRILLIANT series.

Wow! I will definitely look at spiders differently now. This is a powerful suspenseful book that will keep you thinking. Queenie, who once helped the police department solve cases, has been reduced to reading palms to answer people's questions for $5. Queenie is not a charlatan, but a powerful psychic. When she gets a vision that a person entering her tent has committed murder, she contacts her ex, Kirk. Queenie also starts feeling the presence of a manipulator who has been affecting hers and others lives for entertainment. Spiders are appearing in Queenie's life trying to communicate with her. I received a free copy of this book from the author through Book Sprout. This is my honest and voluntarily given book. I love this book and series and highly recommend it. There is suspense, humor, a second chance for love, and a search for a lost son.

All I can say is wow!! This book pulled me in immediately and kept me on the edge of my seat turning the pages as fast as I could to see what would happen. This riveting thriller had unforgettable characters, heart-rending drama, suspense, mystery, supernatural elements, and a second-chance romance. I really liked Queenie, fortune teller at an amusement park who had previously been a respectable psychic advisor to the police, and her dynamic with the other characters especially Kirk, the detective she had helped in the past.

If you enjoy well-crafted, can't-put-down suspenseful mystery thrillers, don't miss Itsy Bitsy Spider. Ms. Mayer never disappoints and I can't wait to see what she has for us next. I received an advance reader copy of this book from Booksprout and this is my honest review.

I loved this book. Dale Mayer has the ability to write books that the reader can’t put down once they start reading. The Itsy Bitsy Spider is no exception. One of the things I like about the Psychics Visions series is that each book revolves around people with different types of psychic abilities, so each book is different. Queenie, the psychic in this book, used to help the police solve crimes. We meet her working at an amusement park in this story. When Queenie sees a murdered women in a lake she calls Kirk, her ex, who happens to be one of the detectives she worked with. Kirk and Queenie work together to capture the murderer. As they search for a kidnapped child that’s in danger, they realize there is a psychic serial killer involved in these cases. There were a lot of unexpected twists and turns (and spiders) which made this one of my favorites.

this series just gets better and better...

queenie wow poor queenie what a life she has had...she is now working the fair grounds telling fortunes after losing her son...she awoke from a coma to find out he had died and had been cremated..she is still recovering from this loss

she cut herself off after everyone turned against her..even kirk her partner but as queenie begins to practise her trade so her visions come back and she contacts kirk about a dead woman and where she can be found...

and who is this secret watcher that speaks to her, and what is with the spiders...oh my the spiders...

this all comes to a dramatic conclusion that will have you reading to the end of the book trying to grasp all those little hints, but i still dont like spiders even after reading this book

Amazing. What a really gut grabbing, heart searing, soul wrenching book. I loved it and did not want to put it down. What an amazing story. This is a mind blower and you simply cannot get enough of it. You can feel Queenies pain. The confusion in Kirk and the evilness of David. The ending was such a surprise. I simply cannot get enough of Dale Mayer books.
Dale Mayer has another hit on her hands. She is absolutely an author tht can write in any genre. She is so talented. She writes in so many different storyline all so very different and so very interesting. You want to read everything she writes. I have yet to read anything of hers that is not just good but great, bordering on the brilliant.

So Very, Very Good!

Queenie is a psychic working as a fortune teller. She used to help the police solve cases until she made a fatal mistake. As a result she lost her lover Kirk and her confidence. Two months later she found out that she was pregnant with her son Reese. Reese was born healthy but a few years later, Queenie and Reese fell ill. Queenie survived but unfortunately, Reese didn't. Was her baby really dead? Queenie didn't believe it!

This is another super Psychic Vision! I loved the characters, the storyline and the visits from favorite characters from previous books. This is one of my favorite series and I've already pre-ordered the next book in the series. Happy reading!!

OMG.. so Dale Mayer is one of my favourite authors, and this book is one of the reasons why.
The story is a page turning, edge of your seat, gripping adventure.
Getting over my fear of spiders wasn't easy, but the way she presents them in the story had me smiling and cheering them on.
Queenie is a psychic trying to maintain a connection to her dead son, and Kirk is a cop that was in a relationship with Queenie. Kirk doesn't know the child was his.
I can't even begin to put words to how fantastic this book is, so you'll have to read it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Queenie is a physic who now works at an amusement park. She's not in a good place and hasn't been in a few years. She's lost her child. Her energy, appetite, money, sleep just everything. Now she senses someone is watching her. Someone very evil is invading her mind. Queenie gets in touch with her past lover, Kirk, a police detective, to hopefully help. She's kept many secrets and one very big one.

This book will grab you from the beginning. You will be engrossed in Queenie's life. Who is spying on her? Who is killing and making people miserable? Can she pull herself out of this nightmare? What's with the horrible spiders? Will the answers ever be known ?

Mothers Love or ???

I love Dale Mayer's Psychic Vision series, they all have you right at the beginning and doesn't let you go till you've finished reading.
In this book you have Queenie, who had a breakdown, a baby and trying to make it as a single mom, add in spiders her baby supposedly dead and everything going haywire.
In comes Stephan and Dr. Mandy with other suspicious cases mingled with a psycho watcher and you have a mystery that only Dale Mayer can tell.
Once reading these books you can't help but love them all. Now, the 14th one is coming in January 2019, so this give me a chance to re-read all the series over again,
