Symone Lane grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth. She’d never had to work a day in her life. That was until her father passed, and her evil stepmother took everything away. With too many distractions, she decided that she would focus more on school and becoming the woman her father set out for her to be. But then two distractions came landing at her feet.
Quez and Quan have the streets of Jackson, TN on lock. Quez, being the lead man, and his brother, Quan, being his partner in crime, have more money than they know what to do with. Quez, who is in his senior year of college, starts thinking the street life is his lover and friend until he runs into a girl on campus who he’s never seen before. His goal is to make her his woman. That is until Quan stakes his claim on her first. Will these two brothers let this girl come between their brotherly love, or will they both decide neither can have her?

Symone and Quez
This book was awesome hate that ended with a cliffhanger tho. It was sad that Andre died in the beginning never being able to spend much time wit his son. Symone had to struggle the whole time due to her evil stepmother which wasn't right at all. I am glad she met the twins but wish she would have not let it get to bad by waiting to decide who she really wanted. I felt Quez was a better fit for her cuz he pushed her to study, not over work herself n do her best. Quan seemed to mostly just want to have sex. I liked how Michelle helped her out that's what a true bestii does for each other. Overall am glad they all found someone free. Can't wait for part two

I honestly hope there’s only a part 2 & not 3. I think that everything can be answered in the next book. Symone pissed me off, how she get mad cause of what other people said about Quez but had the nerve to be kissing Quan. Double standard as hell. She knew that Quan was in a bad place but didn’t try to do anything to get him out of it. I really wonder if Shonda & Quan will turn into anything or is he gonna dump her once he’s done trying to get information. I think that they would make a good couple. I’m glad that Michelle decided to give Drake a chance. Luckily she didn’t have HIV. I hope Symone tightens up in the next book.

Very Entertaining
At first I thought symone was a little prudish she was too stuck on how terrible her step mom treated her and wouldn't allow the help that was being offered to her I'm glad she put her pride to the side. Quez on the other hand have females at his Beck and call he dead wrong for whispering sweet nothing into symones ear then turn around and sleep with another chick that's not he a relationship suppose to start out. Symones roommate is doing too much trying to check symone she just started dealing with him. I bet this put a strain on they blossming friendship. We will see. Can't wait for part 2

Really
The book was GREAT, I loved the storyline and how it flowed. I love Simone but hate how she did the back and forth with the brothers. I love her with Quez. Michelle is a great friend. I love her and Drake but what's with her bd brother? And I wonder if simone's step mom is playing her, I can't see her dad not leaving her anything. But did you really end that book like that. That got me pissed. I'm thinking I'm going to the next chapter then I see " to be continued" . All I can say is REALLY??? But I will be waiting for book 2.

Indifferent
This book was a decent read however I think it's kind of being dragged out too much. This definitely could have been wrapped up into a pretty little bow as a standalone. There was a lot of unnecessary detail which cause my attention to sway. The storyline is interesting in the fact of the Dynamics between the Twins and the girl. I guess we'll have to see what happens on part 2 hopefully the finale.

This was an okay read. Symone was playing with fire with entertaining both brothers. Quan could have been mad at his brother for stepping to her once he told her he wanted her and she should have been honest with him when she knew she didn't want to be with him. Overall the book was ok I think we could have learnt more about the main characters like how they started out,or why Sy daddy didn't leave her nothing at all being his only chi!d and his "miracle baby".

Okay
It was a good read but I was mad that she was stuck trying to decide between two brothers twins at that. I like Symone and Quez for each other but they are going to have serious trust issues and they're both stubborn. Drake and Michelle are good together I just hope it remains that way and that her results continue to be negative. Shona and Quan relationship is going to be interesting hopefully she will get over the thing he had with Symone.

Are the characters 16 or 25??
This read a little to juvenile for me. The characters were adults but their action say otherwise. Sh was to wish-washy for me. There was know way that situation was going to play out nicely. I’m rooting for Michelle and Drake though. The twins need some work😉😉😉

Good read
This was an enjoyable read. It well well written. The storyline was good and it flowed effortlessly. The back and forth with some of the characters had me going but hopefully growth will be evident eventually. The only negative is that it finished to abruptly.... it didn’t leave me with a OMG moment to get that anticipation going. But good read regardless.

Alright but a bit boring…
The whole brothers thing Symone was doing took away from the story. I could’ve taken her being with Jose or someone beefing with them to add a bit of excitement to the read. All the breakups was annoying because Quez was still doing him and the little she did was wrong but his was worse.

First I thought Sy was a hot mess dealing with both brothers. Then I realized what mom told Quez about her was spot on. I hope her and Quez can move past the foolishness and work out. Her stepmom is pissing me off. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I love Michelle and Drake together I hope to read more about them in book 2. Symone got on my nerves with the back and forth between Quan & Quez. I hope her Quez have it together and not play games with each other in the next book

This was a really good read. Love the friendship between Symone and Michelle. They always had each other back. I didn’t like how Symone was going back and forth between the brothers but I’m glad it didn’t mess up their relationship. Really a cliffhanger, can’t wait for part 2

I love Symone's humbleness even though she was spoiled by her daddy. I'm glad Michelle got blessed and looked out for her girl, but I still feel like Symone got her own huge blessing coming. I can't wait to read part 2!

I do not like Sy at all
Sy played too many games and too bull headed for me. She wanted her cake and eat it too. Quez is cool i like him. Quan was a typical dope boy. I liked how Drake and Michelle relationship has developed. Overall okay.
