Sir Edward Robert Sullivan, 1st Baronet, (10 July 1822 – 13 April 1885) was an Irish lawyer, and a Liberal Member of Parliament.
Sullivan penned several notable works, including "The Bungalow and the Tent," offering insights into Ceylon, and "The Conquerors, Warriors, & Statesmen of India," a historical narrative spanning from Mahmoud of Ghizni to Nader Shah. His diverse publications cover topics like politics, economics, and social issues, as seen in "Stray Shots," addressing political, military, and economic aspects.
His son was Sir Edward Sullivan, 2nd Baronet, publisher of the Book of Kells.
