This is the kind of book a potential visitor should read before visiting Hot Springs, but most visitors won't know about the book until they are already there. Mr. Whitington tells many "tales" of the city as well as many ideas of places to visit depending upon the visitor's personal interests.

Interesting and informative, but contains no documentation, i.e., I question some of the historical "facts" presented, and the book contains several typos.

I grabbed a signed copy of this book in a gift shop as I was leaving Hot Springs. What a fun and informative souvenir! My only disappointment is I read it after we left so I guess we’ll have to plan a trip back for all the things we didn’t get to do. Highly recommend as a “travel guide” for those headed to the Spa City!
