An evil intelligence bent on galactic domination is about to meet the Justice Enforcer.

When a mysterious AI demands the release of a criminal, it gets something else instead: the wrath of Valerie’s Elites.

Now the team must travel to a remote space station to uncover the secret their enemies want to keep hidden.

Valerie and her team will join with resistance fighters on a secret moonbase to take on mechs, giant robots, and an artificial intelligence that can infest any advanced technology it encounters.

No one said bringing Justice to the stars was going to be easy.  But that doesn’t mean it’s not going to be fun.

Valerie, Robin, and company spent their whole time in this book, jumping from the frying pan, and into the fire.

So, nothing new about that, then! Lol

As usual, with anything to do with Valerie, this was a fast paced, action packed journey through space, and planets, and moons, and space stations.

Her journey is still not over but, with a little - or even a lot - of help from her friends, she's determined to both help Kalan find his people and, hopefully, gain a race of people with the same aim as herself, and the Etheric Federation - to clear the Galaxy of the baddies, so that everyone else can live in peace.

I'm really loving this series, and all of the characters in it - even Bob is growing on me, and that's saying something! Lol

So, now this book ends, my reading list tells me that the next book to read, is book one of the Ascension Myth series: Awakened.

I haven't a clue what's coming, but if this series is as good as the rest, I'll be very happy!

Excellent as usual for this universe

This was, as is usual for the books within the universe of The Kurtherian Gambit, excellent.

This did not earn a bonus star for using chapter names rather than just numbers.

I routinely note how average chapter length compares to my preferences, but as usual, this is noted without any effect on my rating. This met my preference for average chapter length of taking me about 10-15 minutes to read.

Starting to jump.

Valeries Elites, the series is starting to sound like a sitcom. The plot does not go into enough detail, the story and chracters skip ahead to much. I've read the entire series of books and it seemed to take a lot of patience to get through this one, normally I have difficulty putting a book down. I do like the chracters though.

Fantastic

Any book that comes out of Michael Anderle’s stable of writers is well worth a read, what they have done with the kutherian universe is nothing short of brilliant. Indie writers all coming together to write an array of books that will keep you reading forever , well worth checking out

Great continuation of Valerie's story

This whole journey started on Earth in a series of a vampire getting a second chance now it's turned into space and the female vampire keeps kicking butt and showing that good people and a lot of butt kicking can accomplish a lot just a lot of fun to read excited to start the third one after I'm done with this review

A fun, fast moving space adventure

Death Defied is a fun, fast moving space adventure with vampires, robots, aliens, and more. This is part of a series, so it works far better if you've read the other books first.

Contains "bad" language.

Still a blast

The action continues, relationships build and develop, and there are hints of romance. A perfect balance, in fact 😊 I love the new setting as well, and can't wait to see where the team goes next!

Good story!!

I like how your characters are people, aliens or not. They want Maslov's stuff, food, air, all that stuff. They are people in different containers, but it's still good reading!

A lot of fun

The second installment of Valerie's Elite is a rollicking good time. Justin and P.T. have not only taken characters we already loved but created new ones that are a blast to get to know. Enjoy!

Remember AI the movie, well here you go, more twists and turns than a roller coaster.

Did I miss it?

I like the storyline, but I'm just not getting a good feel for what some of these aliens look like (not including the invisible one).

This was as wonderful as a roller coaster ride with twists, turns, deceit, and action. You experience Valerie's and Kalan’s journey as if it were your own. The characters truly come alive, each one has it's own story as well as a combined one that is interwoven so masterfully you would think they truly existed. I can't wait for more!
