Uneven, more like 3.4 stars on average. This is a handbook with step by step projects purportedly designed to help you master the tools of Affinity Photo (the competition of Photoshop). The book is written by multiple authors which causes some projects to be much better to follow than others. Ultimately it doesn't really matter how talented the photographers are if they cannot write clear explanations for their particular project in the book. My favorite project was The Snow Queen. Overall I still liked this book although I think it could benefit from some test run of the instructions in the projects.

Amazing workbook. It begins by showing all the basics and explains the user interface in detail. There are also some examples which you can follow and get to know the workflow.
It's an amazing workbook that will tell you everything you need to know about the software.
