Things are changing for Cara, and I don't just mean in regards to her recent move and starting a new school. Hollows Creek is a small town, which requires it's own sort of adjusting to, but it's different in other ways too.
Bishop is quite popular, being a football star helping to lend to that status, but despite that and his friends, there's a loneliness that can only be squashed by one thing, or person, to be exact...his mate. And he's shocked when she walks into his school, a recent transfer to his town.
Cara doesn't know what Bishop is, nor who she is to him, but he can be patient. He's waited, literally, for her all this time, so easing her into this new path they'll walk together is just another part of it.
However, not everyone is happy Bishop and Cara have found each other and they have no qualms in throwing obstacles in their way, hoping to tear them apart. What they don't know is nothing ever will.

Well, we FINALLY get Bishop. And whoa baby, it was worth the wait. ❤ ❤ ❤
So much happened in this book. A lot of times that's not a good thing but in this case, I loved it. I couldn't put it down once I started it. The story didn't feel rushed to me. It was so easy to follow and I fell in love with so many of the characters...especially Bishop. Well, let's get to it...

Now, I know many that don't like too much OW/OM drama. I don't mind it as long as the H/h shuts it down quickly. An OW is trying to get with H. He doesn't like her. They went out on a few dates but he felt nothing for her. They never even kissed. He makes his feeling very clear. There's also an attempted rape on the h. It doesn't get that far but he does take her & try to force himself on her. I have to admit, when the story started drifting into that territory, I skipped ahead. I went back to read though it after I knew she was OK just for safety info in my review.
I very much enjoyed this book, even though it ends at a cliffhanger. I would say HFN. But something is definitely going to happen to threaten Bishop & Cara's relationship.
I absolutey recommend this one.

Did not finish
July 13, 2019I hate saying it, but this was hard to read. It was on par with some of the worst fanfiction I've ever read. I don't even think an editor could help straighten this book out. The thoughts were choppy and childish and so was the dialogue.

The H is a dream boy of any curvy girl. The way he takes the h’s side because she is curvy and shuts the evil skinny ow was good.
He is possessive, caring and ott caveman.
Great.
But the writing was dull. Couldn’t connect with any characters. I wasn’t even intrigued to know what the paranormal mystery was. I just kept reading it for the sake of reading.

I really, really enjoyed this story. It took a turn that I did not expect, I was way off in what kind of story I thought it was. I thought Cara was the star of this book. For all she had been through she still stood tall. Sure some things got to her and hurt her but she is a 17 year old girl who has been through so much, so seeing her emotions break through was heartbreaking. Bishop knew immediately that Cara was his soulmate and he went out of his way to love and protect her. But as any typical 18 year old he messed up here and there and caused some drama. He really wasn’t good at explaining things and getting his feelings out there without bumbling it up, lol. It definitely caused Cara some confusion. I can honestly say that I knew girls like Alexis in high school. They are mean, jealous and petty. It was nice to see Bishop put her in her place. I hope she doesn’t cause any future problems. I did want Cara to ask more questions sooner. I wanted to shake her and have her demand answers on why everyone was so weird and cryptic, not knowing would have drove me crazy.
Warning this book does end on a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for book 2. I can’t believe I have to wait till summer to get it!

I loved it! I was surprised about what the big secret turned out to be. Bishop and Cara are magical together. This does end in a cliffhanger, but also a HFN. I so can’t wait for the next in this series. This is unlike what this author has written before. I think this series could quickly become my favorite of hers.

This is the first part of Bishop and his soul-mate, Cara's story and it was awesome! I kept on reading and when I reached the ending, I screamed and cried because I was so invested in their story that I didn't even realize I reached the end until my kindle alerted me so :( I'm so anxious and filled with anticipation and excitement as well because I want the next part of Bishop and his Cara's story and I have so many questions to be answered but I have to be patient because I know this incredible author will give us as always, a marvelous story! <3

While this wasn't terrible, the writing wasn't it. The writing was simple and I'd already forgotten about the characters. I was thinking that this was a shifter romance, but it turned out to be fae. Which was a good surprise.
However, this was written in 2019 and there hasn't been a part two since then. I really wish I would have known this before I borrowed this book from KU. So not only was this book lackluster, it doesn't look like it will ever get a part two.

My new favorite book from Elisa
If I could give this book 10 stars I would. This is my new favorite book from Elisa Leigh. I was glued to the story the entire time. I couldn't put it down. I am anxiously waiting for part 2 of Bishop.

I think this may be my new favorite Elisa Leigh series! I'm loving the urban fantasy twist and cant wait to read part 2.
I hate reviews that give away the story so I don’t do that. Trust me if you enjoy Insta love and alpha hero's you want to read this book!

Cara never expected to have to move from NY to a small southern town during her senior year. Moving in with her uncle after her father is killed during a mugging, she has to adjust to the strange town and mean comments. On her first day, she bumps into Bishop, the most popular boy in school and he can't take his eyes off her. Bishop knows she is his one as soon as he touched her. Now he has to convince her that his feelings and hers are too important to ignore. But is there more to this small town and the authority Bishop seems to wield for a teenager in high school?
I absolutely loved, loved, LOVED Bishop and Cara!!!! Oh my gosh, Bishop is so over the top possessive and protective and struggles to reign it in so Cara won't shut him out. Cara doesn't know how to depend on other people, she has always just had herself. The atmosphere of high school as the back drop for this story just added to the emotional highs and lows of Cara's situation and her doubts about Bishop and her friend Mandy. Elisa Leigh does an amazing job of building the intrigue of what is really going on in this town as well as what is happening between these two young adults. I was taken by surprise when it was finally revealed which doesn't happen often. I also have to say that I don't normally like stories in two or more parts but this one works. If I could give this book 11 stars I would. I am beyond impressed with this book. Elisa Leigh always writes amazing books but this book is a completely different level of amazing. Bishop is everything any woman would want in a a hero and Cara is a strong confident and exactly what I like in heroines. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone but in my personal opinion this books takes a spot in my top 10 reads of the year. This is the story about two people who find love at a very young age with strange things and people in a new town Cara moves to. Come and read yourself and find out why this is such a great book. I am looking forward to part 2 of Bishop’s and Cara’s story that is releasing this summer.

One of my new favorites by this author! Bishop was such a great story and I couldn't put it down. I loved the story from begining to end. The characters were interesting and dynamic.
Bishop was such a great hero and he made me swoon with his need to protect Cara. Their unique bond was so sweet and special. Cara was also such a great heroine, and so strong. I can't wait for the second part to this in the series.

Thus was a thrilling sexy story about Bishop and Cara. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this sexy intriguing beautiful love story. Even though it's a cliffhanger, it ends in a happy for now, which made my heart feel good. Can't wait for part 2 of this amazing story and new series by Elisa Leigh.

PHENOMENAL!
What can i say about Bishop? Bishop has been a long time in the making and miss Elisa Leigh has definitely brought her A Game on this! It was absolutely amazing, I love bishop and Cara, you can actually feel the love, the emotions, this book has EVERYTHING😍😍😍I'm giving this book 10 stars!

Destined to be together
Love Bishop & Cara! He’s finally found his soulmate & he will do everything in his power to keep her by his side. Things have been tough for Cara & she now has an overprotective new boyfriend who takes charge of everything. This was a sweet read but does end in a cliffhanger. Looking forward to book 2!

Bishop is the first book in the Hollow Creek series and while it ends with a cliffhanger it does leave us with a HFN. I absolutely love Bishop and Cara. There is so much love you can feel it. Elisa outdone herself with this book. I can't wait to read the next book.

OMG. Loved this book!! Cara and Bishop instant connection had me intrigued from the start. I knew there was something more and once it was revealed I was excited to keep reading. I can’t wait for the next book. Elisa has written another awesome book that I highly recommend reading.

I didn't get it. I mean, I got it, but I didn't get it. It felt like I'd been dropped into a story already established and details withheld. There was lots of telling and not showing. I liked some aspects of the hero being ultra possessive/protective of the heroine and how he knew she was the one for him instantly, but yeah.... didn't get most of it.

Bishop
The first half was written really well and i was excited to see where this story was going to take us. Unfortunately towards the middle i started to get annoyed with Bishop not putting Alexis in her place. At the age of nineteen he is supposed to be the ruler of these people but he can't see that that girl is playing him and making the h jealous? He is supposed to protect and watch over his princess and yet we aren't told why he leaves her alone during the party. The second half didn't make sense. I'm so over authors using a rape or almost rape as some kind of filler in the story. Not only is it a traumatic experience for the person being almost raped but for the reader, not something that i care to read about especially when the h is weak to begin with. I feel like the second half there will be some growth for her but it will be too much growth in the short amount of time that she has known Bishop and it will seem unrealistic. Besides those things it was written well. I don't care to read the second half of this story. I don't care to know about the mother, i don't care to know if the h grows a spine.
