Thyroid medication has been the #1 most prescribed pill in the USA for over 5 years running… why isn't anyone questioning this?
It’s not just genetic.
The Thyroid First Aid Kit is a simple 3 step guide that breaks down how easy it is to become your own best doctor and bring your thyroid back into balance.
Author and Hashimotos survivor Stephanie Powers has a way with words -- she breaks down how easy it can be to change your diet, lifestyle, and emotions to heal your thyroid. Not only is she a holistic health coach trained in endocrine disorders, but she comes from a family history of thyroid problems; her mother grew thyroid cancer while pregnant with her!
In this short 3-chapter book, you will find less science & data, and more real talk between two people who have been in each other’s shoes. The third and final chapter is a heart-wrenching testimony to the emotional connection of a dysfunctioning thyroid. Stephanie Powers goes deep as she shares her past traumas growing up that led to her diagnosis of the autoimmune disease, Hashimotos, in her mid-20s.
What You’ll Learn from Thyroid First Aid
- That your genes are not the sole reason behind your disease. - The role conventionally grown wheat plays in harming your thyroid. - The bath/beauty/cleaning products you are using every day that are harming your hormones. - How not speaking your authentic truth is hurting your thyroid.
Whether you suffer from a thyroid condition or not, this book will not only hook you, but teach you ways to heal not only the body - but the heart. Stephanie’s writing is smooth and easy to read. I finished Thyroid First Aid Kit in just two sittings and immediately felt compelled to speak my truth - right as a flight I was on took off and landed at 11:11 ✨🦋
You will enjoy this book whether you have a thyroid issue or just wondering why you feel like s**t all the time. You're introduced to the Primary Food(not actual food) and Secondary Food. I personally had these reversed. I have. while new perspective
I love this book because it is quick to read and these changes are highly effective. I couldn’t believe how much my story related to Stephanie’s, it was like I was reading my own story in the pages of her book.
This book was really disappointing to me. i was hoping to hear how to help myself and was drowned in unnecessary information about the authors life. I dont mind having a personal story included in such a book but this book is 60% unnecessary storyline, 20% actual thyroid information and 20% mumbling.
