REVIEW: PLAYER by TN King and Roxie Odell is a contemporary, adult, stand alone, erotic, romance story line focusing on Hollywood stars Jacob Cooper and Anna Halloway.
Told from third person perspective (Jacob Cooper) PLAYER follows Hollywood leading man Jacob Cooper as he endeavors to keep himself busy between leading roles. When his current leading lady is held up with prior commitments Jacob loses himself on a six-week European tour where Italian sisters will cater to his every wish and fantasy. Upon his return home to America, Jacob will discover he continues to have, too much time on his hands, and the pent up sexual need is something that needs to be addressed. An invitation to a masquerade party will bring Jacob face to face with the woman who will call to his heart-his absent leading lady-who also struggles to stay busy between her leading roles. Enter Anna Halloway, rising Hollywood starlet, and the woman with whom Jacob would fall in love, but a potential scandal looms on the horizon, and Jacob isn’t willing to pull Anna into the nightmare that approaches.
PLAYER is a quick read; a story of one man who struggles to find his happily ever after; and one woman who is willing to prove she is worthy of the role. We are introduced to Jacob’s housekeeper Airi- a former Japanese sex slave, and his driver Yoshi, the man who would claim Airi as his own. The premise is entertaining; the character development is limited; the romance is quick to build, erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text but saying that the focus on the leading male’s sexual prowess and need was a bit much, then again, it is an erotic, romance story so maybe that is to be expected.
I did have a couple of issues including the over-use of the pronoun ‘he’ in the early stages of the story line build up. There are also a few grammar problems, and a switch up between names that I hope will be corrected before final publication. (Conall vs Collan).

" Player", Jacob Cooper? Well maybe a little. Jacob is a well known model and rising film star ; he has the face and the body that turn both men and women's heads, but what he does not have is an emotional connection to anyone, he does not allow it. Jacob is a consummate professional when working, arriving early, nailing his lines, one take and pleasant to everyone ; the movie he is working on has hit a brick wall and had to stop production apparently his co-star Anna Halloway is still working on another movie, not how Jacob does things he does not commit to a new movie until he is done with the ne he is working on, but everything he has been told about is co-star paints her as a hard worker and consummate professional, but now he has a month off; which Jacob plans to enjoy!
Jacob takes great care not to have any relationships in the states, what with the Papparazzi and being so well known scandal is always lurking , but a trip to Venice and a chance meeting with a pair of beautiful twins leads to a few sexy hot weeks and plenty of memories. Once back in the states
Jacob finally meets his costar , Whois actually n set befor him and the electric that travels between the two on meeting is concerning, especially when he has a rule no relationships with coworkers.

Jacob is a decent guy who did not play the field like people thought because he valued his reputation he strove so hard to achieve. He is an actor and model. Now he was making a movie with Anna Halloway. She has a reputation as strong as his but he finds it hard to believe it till he starts working with her. The bump into each other at a club. Then under the guise of masks they were attracted to each other not knowing who the other was and they hook up. Her mask falls off and they both discover they know each other. They handle it as adults. Although they are crazy for each other. This attraction plays well on screen and everyone is impressed. Jacob has met his match. He wants to be with Anna but a problem arises with his housekeeper and a scandal is on the verge of brewing and Jacob does not want Anna anywhere near him. He is trying to protect her reputation. An excellent read.

She Fed His Beast. Great story of love at first sight for British born orphan Jacob Cooper the movie star on all the billboards, and Anna Halloway. He doesn’t do relationships or emotion until he meets her. She was as dedicated an actress as he was an actor. His perfect symmetry, so in tune with him. She is everything he wants, obedient, shy, quiet and sexy and best of all submissive. Until Aira’s so called mother appears to blackmail him. Aria is his housekeeper who was rescued from a slave ring. With the blackmail hanging over his head he decides he cannot be with Anna and wreck her life too. I highly recommend this as a must read as T.N King always comes up with the sexy goods. This is my honest review of an ARC I received.

Jacob is a hugely successful actor/model. Anna is also an acclaimed actress. They are both extremely dedicated to their craft. While both are successful and attractive, they also face the same problem: “dating” in the public eye. They’re both very hesitant and cautious and have similar rules. The most important, don’t sleep with your costars. What will they do when they’re both starring in a new movie and the chemistry sizzles?
I loved the longing from Jacob. He was still a mystery through the end of the book though. I would have liked to know more about his family and Steward. Anna was great. I honestly cracked up during a scene with Yoshi and Airi.

I received this book called Player by these 2 wonderful authors T.N . King and Roxie Odell that I signed up for their newsletters . These 2 authors are very new to me this book was so easy to read it had wonderful characters in the story line . This is definitely a must read book and a 5 star rating . I would definitely recommend this to anyone who love to read.

Jacob and Anna really sizzle!
Jacob Cooper and Anna Galloway are both hugely successful in their acting careers. They both find dating to be very difficult because of their successful careers and being in "the public eye". They both meet on the set of their next movie which they will be starring in together. Both have the rule, no involvement with costars. That all goes out the the window when they meet a d the sparks fly. Will Jacob open his heart and let Anna in? Will Anna feel the same way and and let their love shine. Read the book to find out. Player is fast paced and erotic with hints of passion and then eventually HEA. Keeping in mind that this is my humble opinion-you should read and develop your own- I was not satisfied with this story nor the characters. If a literary orgasm is what was intended, this fell short of it. There was not a lot of character development and the POV came off annoying and almost pompous. It had it’s moments which helped with my rating. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Jacob Cooper is the "new" next thing and he is takes his career very seriously. He also has a rule of no dating co-stars. Anna Golloway is an actress who is starring in the same film as Jacob, she also has the same dating rule. What will happen when these two work so closely together and have such hot chemistry it will be hard to deny their feelings? Can Anna crack that ice in Jacob's heart? If they pursue something, what will happen to their careers? This is a good read, characters were developed well and it was enjoyable.

This is a great story about 2 people, Jacob and Anna who appear to have it all, well apart from having a happy and satisfying relationship. I just love how they come together and then try and fight off their attraction and feelings for each other, it's a losing fight but fun to watch! You really connect to them a you can feel how much they want each other but its a no-no in the business. You can't help but root for them and enjoy the scenes they do together on the movie and I need to find a mascaraed party like what they went to!

I looooved this book! The way pointlessly they fight their urges for each other really builds up the tension in each chapter. You can’t help but root for them and enjoy each scene they have together. Plus that masquerade party sounds awesome! Lol

Oh gosh...this one was just not for me. The storyline had great potential but the characters were just annoying. There were some twists and turns along the way, but nothing that grabbed my attention. The HEA seemed elusive but finally arrived...but could have come a lot earlier for me. Just because it didn’t resonate with me, doesn’t mean it won’t reach you. Give it a read and decide for yourself. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and just found it sort of meh...)

I really enjoyed this book. First time reading a book by either of these authors. I am well satisfied and highly recommend the book for your reading enjoyment. Jacob and Anna, both Hollywood stars. They have an undeniable chemistry but are both equally gun-shy of relationships. Will they be able to over-come their relationship concerns and open up to one another for a relationship with love and happiness? I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I received an ARC of this book and leaving a voluntary review. I didn’t understand the title of this book and how it related to the story. Jacob didn’t seem like a player since he seemed to act the opposite. This was an ok book with some hot scenes but it seemed weird since it was all from his point of view only cause I have read a book like that in a long time. Overall it was a good book but felt like it was missing something.

This is my first read for both TN King and Roxie Odell, I received as an ARC and reviewing it voluntarily. This book brings the love and glitz of the Hollywood world, Jacob and Anna are successful Hollywood stars who don't have time for relationship with commitment and no pleasure in profession rule. But what happens when they both collide in during their movie together and their chemistry is more than on screen, is written beautifully.

Enjoyable well written story. I would have loved to have a bit more depth to Jacob and now more of his past. It can be a bit confusing and forced but it is absolutely readable and a quick read.

What a great book. It had our minds thinking, and did I just read that. It was so intense and sexy that it was like one hot mind blowing dream come true. They way it was described had you hooked. Jacob and Anna had some serious chemistry. This book is a MUST read. I give it a definite 5 star. I voluntarily reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.

Player is a quick read that is well written and has engaging characters. Contains lots of heat that is generated by many steamy scenes. A fun plot is enjoyable and entertaining. Anna and Jacob have real chemistry and are very easy to root for. I'm posting a voluntary review after reading an advance copy of this book.

A DEFINITE READ – FROM UNEMOTIONAL TO TRULY LOVING

This is a fast-paced steamy read. Jacob is a famous Hollywood acting entertaining himself between movie roles. He has sex, but doesn’t do relationships and then he meets his new costar, Anna. Will she be able to tear down his walls? A good read, I liked the characters as well as the story.

Although Anna and Jacob had chemistry, this story was pretty slow in the beginning. They don't even meet for some time. The filming ends, the "crisis" in Jacob's life is wrapped up and they are together. It just all wrapped up too quickly and too easily.

Another great read by T.N. King. The book has a good story with awesome characters. The book flows well when you read if and the sex scenes are an added bonus for sure. I also enjoyed the story within the story, that was neat.
