பூ , மீட்பு போன்றவை சிறப்பான கதைகள். வளமான மொழி இருந்தாலும் கதைகளின் ஓட்டம் சில சமயம் பிடிக்க இயலாமல் போகிறது.

நல்ல கதைகள். வாழ்வின் அனுபவங்களில் இருந்து இயல்பாக வரும் கதைகள் எப்போதும் அற்புதமானவை. மோகன் சங்கரின் மொழிக்கு ஒரு அமானுஷ்யம் இருக்கிறது. அது கதைகளுக்குள் இருக்கும் நம்மை பார்க்கத் தூண்டுகிறது. நான் மிகவும் மெதுவாக வாசித்த தொகுப்பு. அதற்கு காரணம் அந்த அமானுஷ்யம் தந்த சிலிர்ப்பு என நினைக்கிறேன்... மோகனின் எழுத்துக்களை தேடி வாசிக்கும் ஆவலைத் தரும் தொகுப்பு. அருமை...👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍

மொத்தம் பன்னிரண்டு சிறுகதைகள் இத்தொகுப்பில் உள்ளன ஒவ்வொரு சிறுகதையும் ஆண்களின் இருண்ட பகுதிகளை வெளிச்சம் போட்டு காட்டுவதாகவும், பெண்கள் குறிப்பாக உடல் ரீதியாக சிதைக்கப்படும் துயரங்கள் பற்றியதாகவும் ஒருவிதமான அமானுஷ்ய தன்மை கொண்ட கதைகளாகவும் நம் ஆழ்மனதில் ஊடுருவுகிறதாகவும் இருப்பதால் ஒவ்வொரு கதையும் மிகவும் கனக்கிறது.

போகன் சங்கர் ஒரு சிறந்த கதைசொல்லி. முதல் வரியிலிருந்து கதையின் முடிவு வரை நம்மை சிலந்தி வலையில் சிக்கிய சிறு பூச்சியென அங்குமிங்கும் அசையாமல் உட்கார வைக்கிறார்.
ஒரு கதையை படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தால் அதை முடிக்காமல் புத்தகத்தை கீழே வைக்க முடியவில்லை.
இந்த புத்தகத்தை படித்து முடித்து சில நாட்கள் ஆகியும் மருதாணி அரைத்த கைகளில் எஞ்சும் செந்நிற சாயத்தை போல இந்த கதைகளின் தாக்கம் இன்னும் என்னுள் அதிர்ந்து கொண்டேதான் இருக்கிறது.
