C.L. Chase encourages us to expand our vision of grace, beyond simply salvation, to see that grace is God's governing determination to do us good in each and every circumstance, so that we would have a God-centred, grace-focused optimism about life as Jesus' disciple. A great, accessible, provoking, paradigm-shifting book.
My only criticism is that I found Chase's writing style a bit too exuberant, but I guess that is partly due to his optimism on the subject ;-). But the content was brilliant.
