In the concluding book of the Mount Emily series, Patsy and Elena are now in Secondary Four and face having to leave Mount Emily Girls’ School by the end of the year. However, they soon find that graduating from their beloved school is the least of their concerns, as unexpected circumstances lead them to have a final showdown with the Midnight Warriors, and in so doing, change the course of time travel forever.

“Low Ying Ping has done it again with her second book, that sees Patsy and Elena on a rip-roaring, catch-in-the-throat adventure. I couldn’t put the book down. Firmly set in Singapore, yet a universal YA fantasy like any five-starred Amazon book I would buy for my children.” — Hwee Goh, Former Journalist and Author of Timmy and Tammy Discover Children’s Book Series
“Author Ying Ping continues to build the characters and their relationships, injecting surprise elements into Midnight At Mount Emily that will keep her readers interested and engaged. There’s a bit of everything in this book - mystery, action, drama with a sprinkle of romance. A time travel adventure that kids can really sink their reading teeth into!” — Suzanne Jung, Media Consultant and Former Channel NewsAsia News Anchor and Editor

“The third book in Low Ying Ping's Mt Emily series is yet another wonderful adventure as we are transported through a very much timeless adventure. The well pieced together plot is so incredibly creative and well written that it can and should be enjoyed by all ages. Seamlessly sewing the elements of a local Singapore book with that of a classic YA novel, I could barely put it down. – Kyra Tan Kai Lin, 14, Singapore Chinese Girls' School
“This book made me go ‘wow!’ out loud when details that I didn't think were important all came together in the most unexpected way. I found myself thinking about the story and the characters even after I turned the last page. – Annika Yeo, 12, Raffles Girls’ Primary School
“This nail-biting adventure never fails to entertain me no matter how many times I read it. I hope the next book will come soon. – Wong Kylin, 11, Mayflower Primary School
I started this book yesterday and despite my hopeless memory with names and plots, dove right into this tale. I laughed, I cried, I marveled at this tightly spun tale. I give this whole series FIVE SOLID STARS!!
The first time I read this, together with the other series, I probably enjoyed it, giving it a 4 star. But now, a good 3 years later, I've been hit by it so hard. Words can't even express it! The unbreakable bonds between the friendship of Elena and Patsy really is an exemplary example of a true friendship - no matter what, they'll always be there for one another. Then there is that 'sprinkle of romance' with Wu Ji, as seen throughout the novels, always will be there for each other. Of course, there's Charlotte and Raine, the sacrifices they had to make, the burden!
I'm so happy and thankful for Low Ying Ping for writing this series. I will read it again and again, and still yearn for more, the future of all the characters, like they existed. Worth a read, for sure.
