I resent novels that do not follow the accepted standards. A true novel ends with a final conclusion.

What a waste. Your talent for story telling is vast. I will not waste my precious time reading any of your serial stories. Its like the soap operas I remember from my childhood and youth and I am not amused or entertained. In fact with an ability such as yours to weave an exciting mystery, it is so disheartening to see those skills cheapened. Interesting characters, great visual scenes, and credible dialog fill the pages of this addition to the serial.
I'm just a purist, but I won't be continuing on this journey. Too bad. It could have been special.

Very interesting premise. An artist who paints murders that subsequently occur. The writing flows smoothly and you become quickly invested in what happens to the characters. The reason why I only gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because you have the main character, a woman without any background or training, physically overcome a vicious killer on multiple occasions who is trying to kill her or someone she loves with a knife. She also is successful in deterring g the killer by shooting a gun when she has never done so before. Overall a very good book which I e need reading. I hope there are more books with these characters.

Left me wanting more damnit

The prequel was ok but this one I couldn't put down. I really was not looking to begin another series as I have several I am reading. I prefer stand alone novels that have endings, but like to follow authors using the same protagonist. Anyways I guess I'm going to have to read the next book in this series. Hopefully it won't leave me hanging but looking forward to the next adventure.

Poor grammar and a cheat end

The author doesn't know which pronoun to use. Uses" her " when it should be "she"! Used " like how" instead of "as". Invest in "Grammarly" to repair the errors or get a better proofreader/ editor!

This is not a complete story! Just ends to get you to buy the next installment! No, thank you!

Left me wondering

I’m not sure how I feel about this story. Some of it kept me on the edge while others were over clarified. More descriptive than necessary I thought. But I kept reading to see where it was going.

This is book 16 of A Riveting Kidnapping Mystery Series. This book is very well written and has your interest pulled in throughout the book. A great suspenseful mystery that I recommend reading.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Unlikely Dectective

Revenge killings depicted by an unlikely artist. The killer is getting closer as the artist begins losing friends. This is a great murder mystery. It’s not your usual killing spree.

1st of this series I've read

There needs to be some editing but a good read anyway. The fact that there was very little bad language was refreshing. I will be checking out more of this author's books.

Please find an editor!

The storyline is pretty good but the its redundant with a lot of unnecessary details and very choppy. Way too long.

Easy to lose time with this

Another long book that seemed like it was going to drag on. Weird theme. But as I continued to read, it all fell into place and started to move along.

Facinating

I started reading this because it was written in a place I know, I kept reading because it was fascinating. The only part that bothered me was the drawing of her grandfather when she was a child, there was no further mention, did no one but grandpa see it? Why no other paintings until this group? Why did the author dangle the impression that the detective was not on the up and up but leave that thread also hanging?

The Painting Murders is a type of story I would NEVER have picked up . Not my typical genre to indulge in . However , this was one of my favorite novels and I have had my share of thousands of books . This was an intense page turner. Every turn of the page had me dyeing from suspense . If you are thinking of giving this book a try GO FOR IT !!

Strange book. It appears that English may not be the author's native language. For instance, "art room" is used throughout to refer to a studio.

The story held my interest up to a point, but I did skim through most of it.
