I have never been a part of a group bible study before, but the group I joined met weekly to discuss this book during Lent. It was a perfect companion to Lent and had insighful questions, excellent prayers, and referred us to wonderful bible passages for reflection. It was a very thought provoking study and I'm so glad I did it.

This is a study book with references to scripture related to the words Christ spoke from the cross. Reading this has helped me on my Lenten journey this year. The practical applications were an assistance in my examination of conscience. I will retread this often and most especially during Lent. I am reading it once again on Good Friday.

The seven last words of Christ are not so much words as phrases. This Bible study looks at each of the sayings of Christ on the Cross, examines the Biblical content, and looks at how we can incorporate the teachings in our lives.
