Take Two
Meadow Johnson works at an antiquarian bookstore by day and finds herself a recluse at night. When a previous relationship ends in heartbreak, her anxiety and fears keep her at home rather than taking another chance at love. When her best friend urges her to go to a casting call for a low-budget movie, she agrees, thinking that not much will come out of it. That is until she meets Eden Lake.
As the queen of straight-to-DVD horror movies, Eden Lake has the adoration of fans around the world. With her career coming to an end, and still being single, she has just about giving up on finding someone...until she meets Meadow.
As both women work together, sparks fly and more than movie magic happens between the two. But for this production to have a happy ending, it's going to take more than special effects. Each woman will have to learn that sometimes it might take more than one take to get it right.

Take Two couples up Eden Lake and Meadow Lane for a good natured romance.
Meadow Johnson works in a bookstore. She's fighting to overcome her emotional turmoil from a bad break up. Her friend Amber convinces her to get out of her apartment and live a little. They decide to audition for a direct to DVD vampire movie being shot in their hometown. Meadow snags a featured role and meets her co-star Eden Lake. As fresh as Meadow is to film acting, Eden is an experienced veteran. The women share a history of bad relationships with other women and strong attraction to each other. Eden supports Meadow's career change and helps her learn to navigate her new profession.
Take Two is a light hearted romance that makes a special effort to deal with serious relationship issues. The setting in the B-movie making industry adds a quirky dimension to the novel. Each character, especially the main characters, fit their roles to a T. It's an enjoyable and engaging story. Emily Sharp has knack for creating complicated relationships for her characters and writing very entertaining books.

Meadow works in an antiquarian book store until she’s selected to co-star in a low budget vampire movie opposite Eden, a well known B movie actress. When the two start dating things seem fine until Meadow’s jealousy gets the better of her and Eden is caught in a lie.
I tried to get interested in this book but I couldn’t. The characters didn’t pull me in and there was very little plot. Not recommended.

Excellent!
Well developed characters and a flowing, well written storyline make this book a great read. This is the story of Eden, a seasoned veteran movie star, and Meadow, who is hoping to get cast as an extra in Eden's next movie. They begin a romance and all seems well until the ultimate betrayal is revealed. Will they get a second chance? Read the book!

Cute
Very good story, Meadow works in a book store and her friend Amber decides to have them go to a movie looking for extras. Amber gets cast as an extra and Meadow becomes one of the main characters along with Edan. Along the way Meadow and Edna fall in love.
