Red Square
Team Cinderella has been sent into Russia to "fake" an assassination of a Russian Deputy Minister, in order to cover up the fact of his defection to the United States. They accomplish the mission, but then are compromised during their own escape and captured. They are quickly disavowed by the US Secretary of State, and sentenced to a public execution in Red Square only a week hence.
Noah, at Neil's urging, convinces Allison to let Team Camelot put together a fast rescue mission, but complications require Noah and Marco to break into Lefortovo Prison, where they are also captured.
Also disavowed, Noah and the rest seem to be doomed, but Sarah and Neil defy orders to launch a rescue mission of their own. Desperate for help that is refused by E & E, Sarah reaches out to the one person she swore she would never trust: Monique, the former mole who once arranged for her capture and torture at the hands of the Chinese. It's a race against time and seemingly impossible odds, with no way to predict what may happen next.

When I read the synopsis of this book I thought that if both Camelot and Cinderella teams are captured early on that it would be a boring story. How wrong could I be. Set in Russia with the theme that the OLD USSR could be brought back with all the Cold War implications made for this to be a tense and exciting thriller. It's what we have come to expect from the Noah Wolf brand. It was certainly NOT a disappointment. In fact I would go so far as to say it's the best in the series to date.

This book is the best in the series yet. It reminded me of the old TV show Mission Impossible in the beginning, where you see them laying out the plan and then when they execute it, something goes wrong and someone is captured and your biting your nails to see how they get out of this one. This is a roller coaster ride and a lot of political intrigue (which is best when only in a book and not played out in real life) Note: this rating was written January 9, 2021 after the attempted coup of the State House.
David Archer is a supreme writer who comes up with amazing, believable plots of intrigue that will have you speed reading to find out what happens next in this fabulous series.

High Stakes Adventure
Another excellent Noah Wolfe novel...and a surprise reappearance of Monica to tie it all together. It was refreshing to have Jenny take a commanding role in this story along with Neil. There are some surprising twists and turns leaving a few questions such as "How will Noah and crew operate internationally with knowledge of their escapades known by the Russians?" And, "Can the Camelot and Cinderella teams reconfigure themselves to continue their adventures in the shadows?"

I absolutely love this series. The characters are flawed and real. The gadgets and technology a little less so which appeals to my inner tech geek. This book is my least favourite of them all. I thought it concentrated less on building the characters than previous books. I found myself skimming over pages of information about Russian politics and diplomatic ramifications of actions as I didn't really see it added to the suspense or arc of the story.
Will I still buy the next one? Absolutely. Noah is a fascinating character.

Another truly amazing read on this series.Cimderella and her team are tasked with removing a high level Russian official by stating an explosion on the boat the family are whale watching on. They escaped on a small submarine that looks like a blue whale. Unfortunately they are set up by another Russian watcher team and arrested to be hung as spies. Noah and his team are sent to rescue them. From here ensues another high adventure action thriller. Twists and turns on every page!! My highest recommendation!!

Another Wolf adventure delivering all that fans of the series expect. More time is spent on the political motivations of the antagonists, something of a departure from earlier books. That might be an effort by the author to expand the scope beyond the protagonist. I'm classifying it as an exploratory effort since the political machinations were disjointed, at times contradictory, and end up feeling improvised from a plotting point of view. Still a fun, quick read.

When a team from E & E gets arrested in Russia for being spies, Noah and his team go to rescue them before they are executed. Noah get captured and the story begins. Sara and Neil enlist the aide from a person they had dealings with before, who has a lot of influence. There, they concoct a story about those who are captured. The captured are then rescued and another story starts. This is an exciting read and Noah is not leading the team.

Not a favorite of mine.
This is where it seems a writer might be running out of ideas. This was so out there in left field it was almost ridiculous. Assassins trying to get arrested to free others certain to hang? Then killing many Prime ministers, and why? Yes, I read the reasoning, but it was just as ridiculous as the rest. I think I will certainly take a break before I read the last two.

Not the best one so far
This one wasn't as good as the rest in the series. Just seemed a bit forced and lacked the punch off the rest of the titles in the series. Not that it was poorly written, just that it was somewhat boring. Maybe the author was just having a bit of a off time and really wasn't into this one, it happens to all of us from time to time. It will not stop me from reading the rest of the titles, this one just wasn't as strong as the rest, is all.

Back in the USSR
Cinderella find themselves sent on a mission to Russia to what appears to be a simple mission to bring a top official and his family back to the USA but find themselves caught and thrown in jail. Camelot is sent in to get them out but Noah and Marco are caught too with them all sentenced to death within days. Can they escape an prison that no one has ever done before. Great read and very fun and exciting.

To never know freedom is to be Russian
Like all of David's book, this one was difficult to put down. It was just a little slow in the beginning but then took off as the plot matures. As always it was a great story. Makes me realize how fortunate Americans are to be just Americans! Great book, you will enjoy it.

I love this series. I enjoy the action, the fun gadgets they use on different missions and especially seeing how Noah’s mind works and “handles things”. Team Camelot has great characters and I enjoy Jenny too. The characters are all appealing and their interaction is well written. This was a good story with a good plot. I just missed seeing more action and cool gadgets during their escape.

Frederick Forsythe Like In Complexity
This book had a lot of twist and turns and a lot of characters involved, much like one of Frederick Forsythe's books. I enjoyed the way Archer used many of his main Noah Wolfe characters in this book, from team Cinderella to team Monica. Another marathon read as the book was hard to put down.

Love conquers all
It’s amazing what an incentive love can be. Even if you’re part of an elite assassin team. It just shows you love can be found anywhere. This was a very complicated and sensitive mission to complete. Sometimes the simplest turn out to be the most critical.

A fun read
These novels in the series are a guilty pleasure of mine. They are brain candy, fun and fast paced and for the Noah Wolf series, a bit juvenile and targeted at the reader who doesn’t want to think too much about it. Just enjoy the ride. Worth every penny.

This series just doesn't disappoint!
Lots of action and surprises, with some close calls! This story has some of the most detailed plot planning of any I have read in the series! In the Kindle edition, I found a few errors, but nothing that takes away from the story.

What else can I say all the Noah Wolf series are great. This one has become my favorite . the two teams seem yo be forever together so the strength of family has been bonded forever. Look forward to the next book for an exciting ride into NeverLand

more exposition than action
Far too much geopolitical hand-ringing and tactical machinations. The assassinations themselves were unbelievably quick and easy, comprising about 2% of the story. Taken as a whole, disappointing.

Gripped from start to finish
The story of Camelot and his adventures grabs me from the first page through to the last. The only thing that upsets me is I now have to wait for the next adventure!!

This was a good read and would have got more stars from me if the last 50 or 60 pages hadn't seemed so rushed. The characters are interesting and I will check out more of Noah Wolf's adventures in the future.

Another great read
Red Square is another great book by David Archer.
He really gets you into his stories and keeps you interested.
He’s in a select group of authors who have one great book after another.

An interesting book though some of the plot features are getting pretty repetitive. The agents getting caught and having to be rescued. The continuous whining by Sarah about Noah's putting himself at risk is the most annoying part of these books.

Red Square is another winner
David Archer has been on a roll. Noah Wolf novel #9 was again fast paced with intrigue, humor,sensitivity and action. Both my wife Bobbie and I rate it a 10. She couldn’t put # 10 down and I can’t wait to begin the latest adventure. Dr. C. 🎊🎉

Good but predictable
Enjoyed the quick read. Although I was able to predict the next move in most cases. Either I am getting good enough to write them or the book is a very predictable read.

So exciting!! Any suspence/action/romance James Bond addict or new reader will fall in love with these books!!

Again
Great story but marked down due to grammar issues yet again. It felt that this book was rushed to be released instead of going through proof reading. Maybe I'm becoming a member of the grammar police.
