A travel log of disaster and disease…as the world descends into madness and death.

Margie’s survival is hampered by her husband’s health while Beth’s survival depends on her willingness to let go.

Scott’s survival hangs in the balance as his fever spikes. Cady watches helplessly as those she loves face the hardest of trials and there’s nothing she can do to save them.

As each person in Cady's life heads toward her, the deadliest of them all works his way north and faces his own mortality in the face of the end.

None of it matters, if their humanity doesn’t stay intact.

Let Paulson run you through the wringer! You might survive, but your emotions won't!

You’ve gotten this far so you are committed or maybe you need to be. If you don’t get this book that’s exactly what will happen.

Grab your tablet/iBook, curl up on the couch in front of a fire, and get ready to take a trip with the good, the bad, and, if you’re unlucky enough to catch the virus, the ugly. Ms Paulson takes you on a ride through love, sacrifice, hope, and despair. And a little bit of payback. You’ve gotten this far so you know that this storyline is about the release of a virus in a misguided justification that the world will be a better place without as many people.
The characters are required to make decisions, both moral and not so moral, in order to stay alive or relieve pain and suffering of those with the virus. They also have to watch their friends and loved ones succumb to the virus. Our villain, for once, has his own set of problems. This book, at times, gets graphic but you can’t tell this story without it.

Ms Paulson’s writing is put to the test in order to bring us into the story. She succeeds in great style. As one of the characters says ”The world has been begging for a reset. Someone had created the button and pushed it. Now the world had to deal with the consequences of what they wished for.”

WOW - this is an awesome series!!! I will start by saying that this is the 4th book of the series. You have to read "NO TIME" and "LAST CHANCE" and "HOLD ON" before you read "Too Late"!!! Otherwise, this book will make absolutely no sense to you.

A travel log of disaster and disease…as the world descends into madness and death. YES -- that is the best way to describe the madness that is taking place. Who will live and who will die??? I don't write spoilers -- BUT omg this is an amazing story!!!

This is definitely an amazing series to read!!!

Karma bites Jackson on the ... hand when he is exposed to "The Cure". Scott returns home with his baby niece and teen age nephew, but he is showing signs of being infected with the virus. Margie is desperately trying to get to her daughter, but has lost her husband and is trapped in a gas station, where she discovers an interesting fact about the virus and a side effect of chickenpox. Wow, terrifying scenario where the world's population has been decimated by a virus developed to kill, but with a fascinating possibility of survival for a small portion of the population. Fantastic book, I love this series!

I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.
