Lots of fascinating details about the history and development of the Les Mis stage show and then the 2012 movie.

The audio narrator dies a terrible Australian accent (as does pretty much everyone) and that was distracting.

One for fans.

Naturally I had to listen to the soundtrack as soon as I finished the book. And will need to watch the movie again this weekend.

I’m a little sad that this isn’t engaging me as much as I want it to be. That said – I love that this narrator doesn’t pronounce the l in Boublil. It’s such a serious, reverent book - too reverent, really - and then Polycarpou will just drop a boobie. Hilarious.
