********** Contains Spoilers**********

I’ve read this book, and series multiple times since purchased back in 2018 but have never gotten around to posting a review so here goes. I enjoyed this book way more than the last book. Lexi, Connor, Ashe and Lana found out in the last book that a group of humans know about the Neturu and have for years, they’re keeping and eye on them. They approach Lexi and come forward, as they need her help because a few members of their group have gone rogue and have stolen videos of Neturu shifting and their ships as they want to out the Neturu to the world.

The main group want to stop the rogue group from releasing the videos as they believe that humans as a whole aren’t ready to hear the news. They also don’t want Lexi to tell her father as they believe they should be able to keep an eye on them, and they know that they’ll just get their memories wiped. Lexi also doesn’t want her father to know because of Connor. She tells them that they should be able to at least have her uncle Mason along for the ride, as him and her father don’t get along so he wont tell Damien and he can jump so his powers will most likely come in handy on the mission.

When the quest to stop the rogue group from releasing the videos isn’t successful, as the leader of the group k*lls himself, but before tells them they’re too late, as something worse is coming that can’t be stopped, and gives them a riddle to follow to the computer that is timed to automatically release the videos at a certain date. They end up having to travel to Egypt as that’s where they believe the computer is. The leader of the good group of humans tells them that they’ll need more people and they have worked with two sisters’ Aleesia & Lucia Brooks, and think that they’ll be a good choice. They’re also based in Egypt so having some local knowledge would be great.

Lexi asks Ashe to research them and see if they can be trusted with such a huge secret. Ashe feels instantly intrigued by Aleesia’s picture while doing his research and it’s even stronger when they meet in person. I enjoyed that we got to see Ashe use his powers more, as he plays a important part in this fight. Lexi and Connor end up forming an even stronger bond during this book, so Connor’s here to stay. Lexi’s powers grow stronger and the Kenga have come to Earth. It’s a race against time to find them and stop their plans in their tracks. I’m looking forward to reading the final book in the series and seeing how everything plays out. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author.

These books just get better and better. Shifting Time is along the lines of Shifters. It’s full of action and you don’t know what’s coming next. I fell in love with Lexi and Connor even more. Ashe has his own destiny and Sarah did a good job of using his powers. It made me sit on the edge of my seat. I really recommend this book. It’s one of my favorites of the series. Go ahead and buy it!!!
