Sandy Marsh's Outlining: Step-by-Step is an excellent book for writers who are beginning their journey with a new manuscript. It was a very quick read, but was packed with information on outlining - different styles of outlining for both fiction and non-fiction as well as tips for writers in their planning phase. This is a must read to prepare for the planning process of your manuscript!

I wish I had a book like this in high school and college. She made suggestions instead of preaching. I didn't read it as dogma or creed.
