He articulates feelings, insightfully describes medical treatments and procedures for the layperson and shares emotions in a way that totally absorbs readers. From the impact of every painful blow and setback to the compassion, intelligence and gentleness of his message, it’s easy to see how Williams gets readers hooked.

A great book that’s part memoir and part self help journal. I enjoyed reading Herman’s story of his life and how he made the best of a life that didn’t go quite as planned.
