Trapped: The Whole Story

Rate this book
I comfortably thought I had been through the worst in life, then I accidentally lock myself in the highly secured file room...with my boss inside! This is not just any boss; her staff calls her ‘The Beast’. It is a holiday weekend and everyone has gone to their families, so there is no chance that anyone will pop in for us to be rescued. We are trapped. A raging storm ensues when ‘The Beast’ realizes what I have done. But with no way out, she eventually tries her hand at being civil. The fire dies, the tornado disappears, the ice melts, and we are able to see each other for the first time. I start to wish that Monday would take just a little longer to arrive because once we are on the other side of the door, there are no guarantees. We start to share our stories. Megan is visibly shaken when she finds out I was abandoned as a baby. I made a catastrophic mistake of sharing the name of my birth mother and, with that revelation, my entire weekend goes up in flames!Follow the WHOLE STORY of Megan and Raven.AUTHOR'S This book contains very steamy sex scenes.

It was hard to rate this book because technically it was awful.

1. It couldn't have gone through any sort of editing process it had so many errors and inconsistencies the most glaring to me related to switching the names of two of the characters.

2. Speaking of characters they are just awful. All the women especially the main characters are irredeemable they all seem like manipulative sociopathic lunatics. For me, only the male characters appeared sane and likable in fact they appeared to be almost saint-like compared to the women.

3. The plot points are so dramatic and ridiculously that I really can't be certain that this book wasn't meant to be read as a satire or a joke. The basic structure of the novel is basically something horribly soul-crushing happens again and again and then its resolved on the next page by saying I love you.

Despite everything I did finish the book and did enjoy certain elements of it because it was like watching a train wreck and I just couldn't put it down.

What a saga!

A few years of the history of a family with a lot of tragic and dramatic turns. An unbelievable after another, and at times it felt like the whole story fell apart but then everything got back to the way it had been. At least almost. The final surprise almost begs for the saga to continue.

The language used in this story is a bit questionable, and a proper proofreading would do the story a world oof good.

Here’s a quote from when the end of their world appeared inevitable: I was alive, and being alive came with good things and bad things happening to us. I was living, and that was good.

…Like Wow…

Another Mardria Portuondo clusterf*%$ homage to insanity, immaturity & irrational dysfunction!!

“…You are a searcher of secrets, finding them and getting to the truth of them, but learn this lesson; not every secret was meant to be known.”

An action-packed, frustrating yet somehow still entertaining series rife with an abundance of eccentric characters, frequent & explicit sex scenes & ridiculous absurdities & escapades that manages to provide an intensely over-dramatized & irritating & engrossingly riveting enjoyable plot lines & read.

Steamy, plot, AND a cliffhanger of an ending!!

I have been reading this author for about 3 months now and have just about devoured everything she's got. I love lesfic, and she's excellent at it. Her story lines are stuff you just don't see coming. This is one of her linger books, but we'll worth the read! Just like real life, it's a love that happens and is worth all the risks, worth every tear, every giggle, and every sigh. Get your tissues out, you're in for a bumpy ride.

Changing to 5. Roller coaster ride.. makes you angry.. lots of angst.. makes you question your sanity.. makes you hope.. ask yourself of that kind of loyalty... And most of all ask you if you can give that kind of love . In short this story made me crazy but in a good way. Thanks Mardria! Now i need to see my therapist 🤣🤣🤣

I totally loved this book the strength of the women and blending of friendship and family. I could not understand why Raven kept borrowing trouble and not leave well enough alone. I was disappointed however that Ella did not get a happily ever after as well!

Lots of twist of turns.

The storyline was solid in its twist and turns and I felt myself wanting to reach out to shake some sense out of the protagonist characters. The ending was very similar to where the chapters turn a crossroads. You never know until you turn the page.

The Best Story I Ever Read

I loved the real life situations that were huge but they should real life reactions. At several points in the story I felt like the author must have experienced these situations personally. The characters were so believable.
