DO YOU OWN YOUR BUSINESS OR DOES YOUR BUSINESS OWN YOU?
Most people who think they own a business, don’t. They are simply self-employed. There is nothing wrong with being self-employed, own your business, it must be able to operate successfully without you.
If your business can run without you, congratulations! You have a systemised business that you can scale, grow and perhaps even sell. If you are indispensable to your business, then this book was written for you.
In FROM STRESS TO SUCCESS you will learn how to:
• Review your existing processes so you can improve and systemise them • Write a detailed and usable business operations manual • Effectively train and develop your team to operate your business without you • Lead, rather than simply manage, your business and your people • Build a valuable asset that works for you now, and in the future
This isn’t a bad book but a very basic book for me and my understanding and at the level I am at.
This is for a novice then an experienced business. The good thing is the book was a very easy and a fast read, the author comes across very genuine in his ideas and experiences with his 5 step approach.
Was intrigued from a podcast interview he did with Estate Agency personality Chris Watkins.
His second book "The Agency Roadmap" was probably more of interest to me and was left on my list. This book has since become much harder to buy on Amazon, so don't know what has happened here.
From Stress to Success I believe was the first book.
He read Michael E. Gerber's E-myth and put his own spin together. Not to take anything away from the writer (it's a saturated market and everyone is doing it).
Go and read The E myth. The E myth Revisited is slightly cheesy but is a classic / a valued re-readable.
