With an ignis demon on the loose, it’s up to Adie and the guys to track Torch down before he catches more than her bakery on fire. If he exposes demons to humankind, it puts everyone’s life at risk. Adie’s determined to safely bring Torch home, but Tobias, Kellen, and Emil’s plan involves something less pleasant.
At odds with each other, it becomes a race through the city to see who will find Torch first. Will Adie risk more than her unstable relationship with the guys to do what she feels is right? And will the consequences be something they can all live with?
Follow Adie on her continuing (mis)adventures filled with troublesome demons as she strives toward achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.
Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
Adie is a succubus who may have rushed a little when it came to getting a human body. Which has caused her not to be able to enter the dream world by herself, as other succubi can do. She's accepted a deal with 3 powerful demons granted she altered it just a little but enough to get what she wants plus her bakery. However, the more time she spends with the guys the more she learns about herself. It's time to study up and learn what she's missing about being a succubus because she's doing it wrong.
Adie is finally getting to open her bakery but on the night of a soft opening, things go wrong when her little ignis demon runs off leaving a trail of fire in his wake. The guys set out after him with her but she knows that she needs to be the one to find him or they will just destroy him. When she finds him she does the only thing she can do to save him she draws in his energy but in doing so his fire burns her body forcing her to let her inner succubus heal her physical body.
I've had my eye on this series for a while but waited till a few more came out before diving right in. The reverse harem concept is growing in popularity and I'm becoming a quick fan. As the series is short novellas I figured it was better to combine them together plus that way I wouldn't be giving anything away. I love Adie she's a great character you can't help cheering her on as she overcomes everything that is thrown at her. At first, I wasn't sure about our demon trio but the more we get to know them the more I like them. I'm curious to see how this is all going to work out. I highly recommend this quick read series it's easy to get lost and read them all in just a few short hours. One of my new favorites and I can't wait for the next one to come out.
Poor ignis demon. No wonder Adie is attached. I have to say that the ending to this one is interesting. I wonder what’s up with the demons since their help with Adie.
Adies (mis)adventures continue in L.L. Frost’s latest book – The Inferno. This serial picks up where the last one left off with little Torch making a mad dash to freedom and fun. He’s left fires in his wake and now Adie fears for not just his safety…but his life. If he can’t be caught and returned to his oven then he will have to be destroyed. Which is something Adie refuses to see happen…even if it costs her. Things are progressing with Adie, her bakery and soon…her men. Adie is finally having her soft opening and things are going well, but there is always going to be something that threatens to derail her hopes and dreams. I will admit that Adie does annoy me a few times in this book. She complains too much to Landon about her circumstances when it is quite obviously her own fault. She knew the risk she was taking and did it anyway. Plus, her naivety is showing…or just her stubbornness to accept the truth. This installment is fast-paced and easy to follow along, so I am rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. I’m ready for Adie to accept responsibility for her actions and stop blaming others or thinking they should be held accountable for her impatience. The way things end it promises some steamy to come so I’m looking forward to it.
Every time a new book comes out I wish it were longer. I simply love this series! Addie's life just continues to be chaotic, but it seems like she's finally getting some people in her life that care about her and will be there for her...but of course not her cousin Julian, the a--hat! This book turn a scary turn, (maybe two) as Addie was pretty badly injured. But her mentor, roommates and employees really stepped up, to help her through it. Now it looks like it's her turn to help Kellen... Can't wait until February!
We have some interesting developments in this installment. Adie has been with the guys to heal but doesn’t remember. I like the relationship ship that is developing between Adie and Tally. I have a feeling we are being introduced to this bunch for a reason!
As always, I love the mythology in this serial. I love that Adie says she wants more. And I love that the guys are slowly coming to care for her. Can't wait for next month!
This part of the serial was full of action. Torch gets loose and Adie gets hurt. The guys have to save her, but at a high cost. There is a pretty big cliffhanger. Come on February.
OK while I love these shorts sometimes I want to scream. Now February can't come soon enough!!! I still love this series and will keep reading nonetheless.
5 stars! I so love this series! Is all this anticipation considered a form of torture? Cause I don’t think I can take these cliffhangers anymore... who am I kidding, I’m a glutton for punishment.
I just love the series. This book just keeps getting better and better. I love the characters and the story line. I cannot wait to read the next book. A must read
this one was not my fav. Spoiler! * * * * * * * * SPOILER * * * * * * * why oh why did she have to have sex with them AND she don't remember it because, well... She wasn't really her...
