It was ok and safe from the aspect of there being no OW or OM drama. However, I couldn't get past the fact that the h/H had sex after just meeting (like 5 min people!!) AND there was no discussion of safety. No condom, No "I'm clean"...nothing, nada. Then to turn around and do the same thing with his "friend" less than and hour after the h and one of the H's had sex was just bothersome. Also the "we share from time to time" and the h not even questioning the "safety" just ruined the book for me.

Ok this was a very quick read but I was in the mood for a sexy shifter story so thought why not? Well I am a little disappointed as I didn't really believe in the relationships the central characters form. First we have Risha who has been badly let down by her boyfriend and she's really in a quandary about how to move forward with her life. She decides to go camping and somehow find herself again but what she discovers is anything but run of the mill! First she encounters a beautiful wolf, then a rather brusque ranger and to cap it all two very sexy guys who seem only too happy to "share" her. Risha may have started out as a good girl but she's more than happy after a little encouragement to take a walk on the wild side! Problem is these two guys are much wilder than Risha realises!
I'm not sure how I feel about this story. There's drama that seems to be resolved quite quickly with Risha being left at a crossroads . The two leading males Colt and Jericho seem to have their lives pretty sorted out so I was quite surprised that they wanted Risha. Most of the focus seems to be on what Risha really wants to do with her life. Yes initially she was attracted to Colt and then the Viking like Jericho caught her eye but I just didn't find the romance to be believable. To me Risha seemed way more attracted to Colt and I couldn't help but think in time that could cause major problems. What was very interesting though was seeing Risha become empowered and finally trust herself to make the right choices for herself. She realised that true happiness comes from within and I liked that

Hot and steamy, and not just because of the hot springs. I really enjoyed reading this stand alone paranormal romance.
Part of the multi-author Bite of the Moon Collection, 'Between Two Wolves' is a stand alone paranormal romance by Catherine Vale. I really enjoyed this seriously steamy story and read it in one sitting.
Risha Reynolds, ghost writer of all things werewolf, vampire and things that go bump in the night, is having a hard time letting go of her anger towards her cheating ex-fiance, Harrison, and Jack, her boxing coach is less than impressed with her lack of focus during training, especially since it's been months since she dumped the douche bag. After yet another long discussion about her life with Maggie, her BFF since grade school, she decides that a weekend camping by the hot springs at Big River is just what she needs to clear her head. But she gets a lot more than she bargained for on her very first night...
I love Catherine Vale's books and I really don't want to give any spoilers here, but the creepy Park Ranger and huge black wolf make Risha a bit jumpy, then, while relaxing at the hot springs, she meets Colt and Jericho who are seriously hot so she steps out of her life for a while, not realising that she'll never get to step back into it on Sunday as she originally planned, but you'll have to read it yourselves to find out why. This book is very hot and steamy, with a little action, a bad guy, an unforeseen mating and a happily ever after for Risha, Colt and Jericho.

"Letting loose when two wolves are better then one!"
I am amazed when ever I read a Catherine Vale book by how amazing she writes!. The story lines are always compelling!. After you read just one of her books you will be hooked for life. Like this one how can you not love a book where a lonely young woman gets herself not one but two sexy wolf shifters!. Catherine Vale's Men are always amazing ,but even her females are awesome!.
Risha aka Rish is a spunky young woman who hardly ever gets out of her home except to train at her boxing Gym. She loves the out doors but lives in the city. After her break up with her ex.boyfriend Rish finds she just needs to get out of town. So she plans a camping trip to Big River which runs down the side of Black wolf mountain. There are hot springs there that Rish decides to take advantage of to help her relax.
While in a hot spring drinking wine a Stranger shows up. Colt is a sexy wolf shifter. He seen Rish when she first got to the camp area only he was in wolf form at the time. Not only that but a Park ranger had showed up. Now he plans to check out this sexy woman. Rish lets loose and ends up having sex in the hot springs with Colt. Then his friend and fellow wolf shifter Jericho shows up. You see they plan on sharing this sexy woman. Rish can not believe she came to Big river to be by her self then she ends up having sex with two hot strangers!. The Guys follow her back to her camp. Then that Park ranger shows up only he is not a park ranger after all but another Wolf shifter who has been after the guys!. He attacks the guys and kidnaps Rish!.
Boy you will so love this amazing hot hot suspenseful and funny Romance! It is a five star plus plus book!

When Risha(Red) Reynolds finds out her fiance is having an affair, she gets rid of him and almost everything to do with him. But some things are harder to get rid of, like memories. So she decides to take a camping trip, to find some peace and lone time. But what she finds in the mountains, is more than she could have imagined. She finds love and acceptance with two wolves.
This was an interesting take on shifters. The storyline was different but enjoyable. I loved the characters who were really likable and their menage relationship was quiet unique. My issues are, that I didn't really like the fact that one was mated to Red and the other wasn't. To me it seemed like Red slightly favoured Colt over Jericho, and I felt like something was missing from the relationship. But overall it was still an enjoyable read

This was a very quick and steamy read. In this story, a girl goes for a hike in the woods and ends up meeting two werewolves. She falls in love and just accepts everything just like that. So in this book you have to make sure to suspend reality in order to love it. This was just an okay read for me.

Well, awalnya aku merasa antusias bisa mengaudisi serial werewolf "panas" baru. Buku ini menawarkan gambaran awal heroine yang menarik dan penuh potensi. Rambut merah, suka olahraga alam, lebih mencintai fight club untuk membentuk tubuh dibanding normal gym. Dan dia sedang patah hati karena ditinggal selingkuh si tunangan. Untuk move on dia memutuskan akan camping di hutan lindung yang terpencil dan melupakan semua hal selama beberapa hari. Saat sedang berendam di mata air panas dia bertemu 2 pria pecinta alam yang OMG seksinya dan instalust mereka dimulai dari detik kedua mereka berkenalan. Dari sinilah storyline kisah ini mulai gelindingan liar turun ke jurang.
Storyline ini mencoba meraih banyak hal dalam posisi halaman yang terbatas. Kita sebut saja proses move on dari luka batin yang ekstrim dan instan. Selain itu cerita ini juga ngotot berjalan di ero aliran hardcore lengkap dengan threesomenya, disetiap scene hore-hore, yang jujur walaupun menawarkan setiap posisi tetap tidak panas membakar. Tidak puas dengan keep it simple, masukan sisi paranorm ringan sebagai kejutan. Sang penulis juga bermurah hati menberikan villain yang labil antara menginginkan sang heroine kita atau ingin membunuhnya. Alhasil nyawa sang heroine diujung tanduk dan membutuhkan tindakan penyelamatan ekstrim secara instan yang membuatku "rolling my eyes" begitu kuat sampai nyaris copot. Dan yang paling aneh semua hal ini tidak mengejutkan si heroine perkasa kita, walaupun dalam tempo kurang dari 1 minggu dia mendapatkan banyak kejutan dan pengalaman-pengalaman baru. Dengan tabah dia menerima semuanya dengan hati, tangan dan kaki terbuka.

Red short for Risha Reynolds couldn't stop thinking about her ex, she thought he was the real deal. NOT !!!!! He was a cheat and a liar... Maybe a weekend camping trip..3 or 4 Bottles of wine and decent sized fire pit and the stars.
Colt saw her first and OMG he is a God...His long, curly, soft dark hair, clear beautiful blue eyes....Talk about pheromones ohhhh my goodness I'm catching flies.... licking my lips ohh yes, But I don't do this and he's a total stranger. Ohhhh YES, why not...
Jericho came when Colts and Red were busy having fun, yep he wanted some fun too. Risha almost had a heart attack when he came toward them.. than he dropped his shorts too.... OMG a blonde Viking..... with grey-blue eyes... I couldn't take my eyes off of him.... I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

I was given a copy exchange for my honest review
Wow oh wow this read was a lot of fan your face and a lot of OMG!! So what happens when you have a raider that decides that she just needs to get away from everything after a bad breakup goes to the woods to to re-collect herself and hopefully move on. Redra or as some people call her Red, Meetze get away from it all from her bad break up just everything that's happening and decide to go back where she feels the most comfortable by yourself to the Hot Springs where she runs into Colt and Jericho, to really really hot Alpha man and of course if you can guess they are wolf shifters. I don't want to give away the story so I am going to say that this story has everything not your simple they meet fall in love and life goes on yes they meet and have hot hot sex but there's always danger lurking around. I life is altered there's decisions to be made an acceptance to be found. I love this read and I definitely recommend as one of my top reads

Needing to clear her head from a bad break-up, Risha heads off on a camping trip and ends up forever changing the course of her life. She ends up meeting not one, but two gorgeous guys, who have her very quickly forgetting she even had a fiancé to get over! Jericho and Colt are both shifters which is something Risha never knew existed but she takes that news fairly well after she sees the wolves in action trying to save her life. Of course, I think that is also because the heroine is a writer. Catherine are you trying to tell us something here? :-)
This paranormal ménage novella had a fast moving storyline and was an entertaining read.

Yet another book from Catherine I just couldn't put down & when I had to, it was to quickly pick it back up again right away. I was quickly drawn into the story about Risha & had soon devoured the words within. Absolutely LOVING all of it! Risha's plans to get herself centered in the only place she feels relaxed, hiking & camping in the mountains, by herself... leads to her life changing beyond measure. Upon arriving at the hot springs, she soon mets Colt & Jericho, where things get a little steamy... Then the action starts & your sucked into the story, secrets are revealed, a kidnapping & rescue occurs... I'm stopping there. I can't wait to read Catherine's next book.

Once again something a little different in the shifter genre, but a thoroughly enjoyable story.
While the danger part of the novel was over fairly quickly, it was obvious the focal point was the conflicted young woman who felt most at home in the wilderness and was yet to truly understand the reasons why.
I did feel the romance side was a little lacking, but this is probably explained by the nature of the men portrayed and their solitude background.
Overall it was a quick read and well worth the price.

This is a complete short story. It was an enjoyable story, I enjoyed the interaction between the Jericho,Colt, and Risha. However, it did seem almost too quick for Risha to get together with Colt much less suddenly making it a threesome.
She seemed to have almost no concern for shifters, or for becoming one herself. The author made a good attempt to address that in the story. All in all it was a good story with a good conflict it in.

A ghostwriter who works at home, Risha heads to Big River on Black Wolf Mountain figuring getting back to nature, and away from everything that reminds her of her ex, is exactly what she needs. Upon meeting Colt and Jericho, BFFs who share everything, it's "Harrison Who"? Thin plot, lots of steamy sex.

Sorry, I scored it high on the smut-meter and the slut-meter. I just couldn’t relate to a woman who was upset about a cheating man going out and developing a ménage relationship with two strangers who just happened to walk into her camp.
On the other hand, if all I was looking for was a one-handed read…. This would do the trick.
The story itself was well-crafted and thought out for a short. I just had trouble connecting. Maybe it’s just me this time.

The story itself was well-crafted and thought out for a short. I just had trouble connecting. Maybe it’s just me this time.

I’m a little lost with this book. I really enjoyed the first part. The angst and drama over Risha finding herself, who she could really trust, and how she was going to get free of the situation she’d landed in made for exciting, griping reading. But then the story kept going, and going, and going. Now, I’m all for knowing what happens after ‘happily every after’, however this just felt like filler fluff.

This is a nice short story with lots of action and steamy romance. Risha went camping to do some soul searching after she found out her fiance cheated on her. She did something unusual for her - she had sex with two hot men who were actually wolf shifters. That's how their romance begins and it ends with a happily ever after.

What a really good book. 💝🐺💝
This book is pretty interesting. Risha goes up to the mountain to get over a failed relationship and meets Cole first and then Jericho. Things heat up really quickly and before they know it, they end up saving her life. 💙

Had me hooked from the intro... Finished in less then2hrs. Very well written and very detailed. Her style of writing makes u feel like your there

Definitely recommend for a quick read in paranormal shifter romances - nice story gutted there wasn’t a sequel or more info or an epilogue

To be consumed by love. It was bliss, pure and simple. I was over the moon. (Sorry Catherine! I took liberties there! :) ) HOLY HEAVEN!! What an utterly WOLFTASTIC story!! It was so beautiful! So hot! So powerful! So...PERFECT!!! And so much story too!! So many times I thought that I had reached the end, but it kept going & going! PAWESOME!!! I wasn't anywhere near ready for the end to come anyway! :-) But don't for a second think that there is just mindful prattling on to take up space! It is EXACTLY the opposite! This story is about way more than finding a mate and living happily ever after! It's about finding your place in the world, who you were - are - meant to be, and so much more! But you will have to read this for yourself to discover all of its secrets & enchantments! Catherine completely outdid herself with this book! WOW! Talk about your Happily Ever After kind of Furry Tail! I was blown-away at the depth & detail of everything wolf and how enriched it was because of it!! I felt like I was the one changing, that is how FURRIFICALLY it is written! Truly! If I didn’t know any better, I would think that Catherine has experienced it all herself! The whole story is like that too! I was giggling at some of the descriptions used for ahem body movement, true words, but not ones you typically see. Yet one more reason that I LOVED IT!! Using her phenomenal talent, Catherine not only has me fully immersed in the story, but seeing, hearing, feeling & even smelling the forest with the characters, had me loving the characters and living their story with them, as them! PURE MAGIC!! I can tell that Catherine truly loves her characters and the worlds they live in. She pays attention to detail, the story flows so beautifully, there is humor, love, friendship, fears, heart-break and so much more that it is hard to quantify it all, there is never anything lacking in any way be it story, depth, characters, loving, etc., and her characters are given this quality, this personality, that brings them to life and you can't help but feel like you have found your best friends, your soul mates, finally found your place in the world. Add all of that with FANGTASTIC plots & storylines/arcs, and you get one PAWFECT, WOLFDERFUL, SHIFTASTIC book that consumes you heart, mind, body & soul.

Ever since the first novel I’ve read from Catherine Vale, I’ve been an instant fan of hers. Her storylines are hot, tempting and non-stop entertainment and Between Two Wolves is no exception! My only complaint? Why was it so short?!? There was so much I would have loved to know more about: such as the boys, Colts and Jericho, their history, how did their Red lure the two of them to her and made her so special? What would make them want her to become a part of their pack, other than the fact that she was in danger for her life? I absolutely loved the paranormal aspect of the shifters, keeping up with the main aspects that we find in the majority of this genre, where most experienced shifters can shift at will, are capable of understanding language in their animal form and can create mate bonds with humans. Where it differs, and this is what I’ve noticed with many authors, is whether or not shifters can be created by bite or not, or if it’s only possible by blood. Vale has decided on her own path, which I, for reasons to not giveaway for what I believe is an amazing part of the novel, will not divulge, but strongly recommend adding to your to be read list and adding Catherine Vale on your to be watched list as well.

Risha set out for an outing into the woods. She needed to get away,to escape the memories from her broken relationship. She tried to distract herself with boxing lessons, but just going home to the place where his memories still lay kept on haunting her and made it impossible to let go and move on. So, she set out for the one place that always gave her comfort, the great outdoors. Her friend Maggie tried to talk her out of it, worried that Risha already spent enough time alone. But, Risha insisted that she just had to do it. After her arrival, she encounters a wolf on the path, or is it a dog? then a park ranger shows up. The incident seemed odd but Risha let it go and continued on. After deciding against setting up her tent, Risha heads down to the hot springs to relax. She's not alone for long, she is joined by not one, but two handsome men, Colt and Jericho. Men with a combined secret, they are wolf shifters and the last of their own clans. Things get even steamier in that hot spring, then a complication shows up to wreck the party. The so-called park ranger is back and ready to cause trouble. Not to give away too many details, Risha is injured and Colt bites her while in his wolf form to change and claim her. In majority of the books I have read, the "Bite" is usually done while human only a few have been while the "Biter" was shifted. But, I was just as curious as Risha- since Colt bit her was she only mated to him even though they all established a connection before the bite. Just saying share and share alike people.

Risha Reynolds can’t stop thinking about Harrison and what he did. He left with her college room- mate. She felt so wronged but can’t be swallowed in self-pity. She had been alone for too long and after some advice from Maggie, her friend, she decided to try to forget doing camping and hiking because that was something she liked much and would help her. While in the woods she met Colt, a gorgeous and strange man she felt attracted to and they made love. But more strange soon they were joined by another man, Jericho, who told her he and Colt were close friends and wanted to share her. Risha was feeling very aroused and intoxicated by the two males. They told her she was special to them and together they experimented something that felt right to her. That was what she needed and already she was feeling whole. When secrets were in the open she knew that everything would be fine for her. They told her about their clans and what had happened to them and she felt more loved. But evil is always lurking in the dark and when everything was another menace was endangering their lives. Entertaining, interesting hot menage story. Risha character was already attracted to the paranormal world and had desires to be part of it. Think that was why it was easy for her to embrace her destiny. The story has action, suspense, violence, intrigue and a lot of steamy sex. Easy to read and liked Jack character and his little surprise at the end. Enjoyed the story and liked the development of the plot.

The story is well paced, well thought out, the setting was realistic, and had descriptive details. I could visualize the moment Red woke up and realized that her life had changed or how she fell hard for Colt and Jericho.

I was excited to read this and kept waiting for the release. I was kinda disappointed. The pace seemed awful slow to me. It was a short book but took me all day to read and it only should have taken me 1-2 hrs at most. I put it down constantly and sighed. There is a lack of depth in parts of the book and with the characters. The whole Weatherly guy thing just seemed a little out of the blue and could have done without it. I don't think making him a antagonist worked well. Obviously if it hadn't been for him she would have never got turned but I think with that whole situation we needed more development. Their pasts and needing to know more about Colt and Jericho. I felt I didn't know them as much as I knew Red. I also think it highlighted too much of the sex and manage thing for anything else in the book to survive. Yes, I am saying there IS a such thing as too much sex lol. I wanted them to form a relationship and although I felt them caring for each other I didn't feel anything else. Also, I felt they dived way too fast into sex. I mean she went there to think and like 30 seconds from knowing Colt she does the horizontal tango. Then 2 minutes later his friend Jericho comes along and boom again so fast. Made it not believable for me. That's something I would expect from a short story or even erotica or erotic type of books.

I love a great shifter romance, probably more than most, and when you make it a menage on top of that, well, lets just say there isn't much that will top it. Especially when it is well written, with a plot that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, biting your nails (and I don't bite my nails), waiting for all the action to happen. This book is packed full of heat, a bit of suspense, and lots of hot, steamy sex, both in and out of the hotspring.
When Risha decides she needs an extra long weekend all to herself to be able to put her life back into perspective, and against her bff Maggie's resistance, she packs up her camping gear and decides a few days so far back in the woods should help settle her back down. What she wasn't expecting to find, not one, but two so hot that you might burn yourself if you touch, men. And not only does she come across these men, but she soon discovers that they want her...to share her.
I won't spoil the rest, and there is definitely lots more to read. You will have to read for yourself, but I can tell you that you will not be disappointed. I know I wasn't. This book was complete, a total standalone, but I could easily see an awesome series evolving if the author chooses to do so. Great read that I definitely recommend.
