I've always loved romance novels, and I can remember back in high school, propping up my science books so that my teachers wouldn't see the steamy novels I had hidden inside. :) And now I get to write such books! LOL! These days, I live in California with my wonderful family, and yes, I'm still a voracious reader. I read anything and everything... when I get the time. I've discovered photography and LOVE it!

This is the first novel I've read by Mrs. Delilah Dawson...and I must say I was quite CAPTIVATED...the chemistry between Kai and Sonya is OFF-THE-CHARTS...this book is funny, thrilling, sexy and extremely HOT....the HIGHLY erotic “spelling bee” will have you reaching for your significant other or a tall glass of ice cold water (whichever is readily available)...and despite some of the unbelievable situations Kai and Sonya find themselves in, this tale will keep you turning the pages...the conclusion DEFINITELY pulls at the old heart strings...I look forward to reading more of Mrs. Dawson's novels.

I have loved every book by the author so I decided to blind read. I started and completed this book in one day! I just thought that it was going to be a innocent-esque (I knew there would be some steamy scenes) lovers on a cruise book. SIKE!!! Imagine my surprise when when I got to the Mexico part and Sonya decided to chase Kai down. I was NOT expecting that. Their journey throughout the book was so intriguing. I love when tit for tat banter in books. The competitive nature was so fun to read. If you’re looking for sexiness, adventure, and an overall page turner, check this out. AWESOME JOB DELILAH! This book is going in my favorites list. I loved it!

Kai is a bounty hunter/skip-tracer, but most of his work seems to be for victimized people who are too poor to afford the losses or help. Sonya is an accountant who, when she was young, was used by her mother in scams and cons.
Kai thinks Sonya is working with her Uncle to scam the elderly out of their lifesavings. Since she is in possession of the necklace that was stolen from his client, it must be true.
Sonya doesn't look like a femme fatale, but with a complete makeover her image is sexy siren. She books a single cruise not to meet Mr. Right but Mr. Right Now, and she hopes her new image and some acting will convince this unknown man to spend the week with her in bed. Instead she ends up with Kai and is dragged through Mexico looking for one of his bounties.

It was okay, very little story 3/4 of the book was sex and intimacy. The story moved kind of slow. I finished the book because I promised a friend that I would other wise I would have stopped at chapter 6. It was okay, not a fave. I did enjoy the plot behind the story, and the thrill of the chase when things got hairy in the other country.
