Incredibly comprehensive! I didn’t even know what all I needed to know before reading this guide. I thought that I knew approximately where we would be going but there are so many other considerations that hadn’t crossed my mind. Now that I’ve read through it I have a much clearer idea of what to look for when planning our trip and I will be referring to this guide over and over as we narrow our options.
2023 Book #06: The Complete Guide to African Safaris: with South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Namibia, & Rwanda by Fodor's Travel (2018) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Checked this book out specifically for the chapters on Tanzania and Kenya. Full color pictures and maps. National parks (15 in Tanzania alone!) and animal preserves & rescue centers included, along with main sightseeing attractions, history, and cultural notes.
Delightfully up-to-date! I just wish they would sometimes quote“prices, so I have a better idea of the beautiful places describe there in my budget. I suspect not.It is certainly a whole lot more comprehensive than only about safaris.
