Rome 51 AD. But knowledge of this kind can be deadly. With Magnus' enemies closing in, danger from both within the Brotherhood's ranks and from rival gang the West Viminal threatens everything he has fought for. Magnus must use every trick known to him to survive, and to try to come out on top...

Robert Fabbri read Drama and Theatre at London University and has worked in film and TV for 25 years. He is an assistant director and has worked on productions such as Hornblower, Hellraiser, Patriot Games and Billy Elliot. Now, his life-long passion for ancient history, especially for that of the Roman Empire, has drawn him to write his first novel. He lives in London and Berlin.

Another cracker.

You have to love Magnus. Ensuring the long term for his brotherhood and at the same time himself, he's always scheming and if he can mess with the West Viminal mob along the way, even better. This is Magnus at his best.

Great read

Enjoyed this short story a lot, I feel I know the characters and the author puts you right there in the thick of it.
