DNF @ 57% then skipped to last couple chapters to skim

Started ok. Liked h's character so far but thought H was preppy & not alpha enough. Their S chem & detailed hot S scenes were ok. But things went downhill when they both agreed to pretend to be together & h pregnant for the sake of H's dying father's wishes. But H didn't tell h that his inheritance was contingent on his heir until h found out from H's father. So, at 57%, DNF coz angst was contrived & corny & h's reaction to finding out about H's inheritance was corny & OTT in a negative way.

Inconsistent characterization of virgin h as naive about men & sexually innocent but she masturbated like a sex pro & her 1st-time ever having sex with H was that of a sexually experienced woman. With No hesitation/no resistance. And she was ridden hard by H on an office desk without any pain or discomfort. H couldn't tell she was a virgin until she mentioned being inexperienced later.

Didn't like H's character much either. He acted & thought like a spoiled rich kid who was only a figure-head for his dad's company and attended business meetings & worked obligingly. He was like a rich preppy guy who was proud about his womanizing and acted alpha & in control but was really under his father's thumb. So, not surprising that he would plan a ruse to make his new-intern h act as his pretend pregnant GF. Tasteless for both him & her to sweet-talk his dad and pretend they've been dating for 1 year and a surprise baby on the way. They barely knew each other & lusted after their 1st meeting at h's intern interview with H. H acted unprofessional right away & came on to her that same night at a bar he saw her at. Didn't take long at all & with no talk about their crossing boss-intern boundaries to start smexxing.

Sexual history—22yo recent college-grad & business-intern virgin h was shy & felt awkward with men coz she thought she was too curvy/fat. She'd kiss other guys but no mention of any other experience. She took care of her sexual needs by masturbating. H was a manho who'd been with plenty of women but no attachments.

The Baby Favor is another win for me 💙 Derek’s dad is dying. His dad's wants an heir on his terms but Derek isn’t on board with what his dad wants. So his dad has disinherited Derek out of his will. Then Derek meets Amy he has a plan to get back at his dad. The question is will Amy go along with the plan. Amy goes from getting a dream internship, to sleeping with new boss to being his "baby" momma. All in the span of a DAY. She's not pregnant but her boss, Derek needs her to pretend to be for the benefit of his dying father. Oh, and she will be compensated...in more ways than one. It's never that clear cut though. While pretending to be in love and pregnant. both Amy and Derek start to develop feelings for one another. Of course things are never easy enough to just fall into place. Our main characters have to wade through some minefields before they can get to their HEA.

Family was everything to Derek – his father knew that last remark had hurt. But it’s time he grew up and became responsible. No heir, no inheritance – he was adamant about that.

Time was short and opportunity presented itself. Derek made an offer to Amelia “Amy” Parker, one of the women who interviewed with him for an intern position, out of his own desperation. He needed Amy to pretend to love him, and to be engaged to marry him – and needed to be pregnant with his child within a very short time so that he could win back his father’s approval! To do this, they had to be able to convince everyone it was real. Could two people, practically strangers, make this work? Could they fool the family and the lawyers into believing this is for real? Or maybe it won’t be such a “hard sell” at that – if they can survive the treachery that will try to prevent their relationship?

This author is magic with words! His books set up a beautiful story line, strong characters, and then he builds up the world around it and draws the reader inside. You won’t be sorry to read any of his books because they are all so well written. This one is no exception.

OMG Chance you done it again, I was hooked from page 1. The instant connection between Derek and Amelia (Amy) was so real. As both of them have been missing that one strong connection of love, that bonded them even more. When Amy first met Walter I thought maybe she would be shy and feel intimidated but her and Walter really bonded. Also I was glad that Charlotte was lovely to her as some old friends can try to break them up because of being jealous of loosing the friendship and thinking they are not good enough. The scene at the restaurant was a tear jerker and very well written, as were the wedding vows and speeches! Maybe could have had Walters speech so everyone would know and see how proud of Derek he was but then I think that would be another tear jerker!

This is definitely a 5 star rating and I would highly recommend this book.

Great story with lots of heart and hot sex. Derek asks his new intern for a favour. Amy is a shy, insecure virgin who discovers all sorts of fun things with the boss. Derek is a man used to the finer things, but Amy helps him discover things about himself. I laughed, I cried and I cheered when the snake lawyer gets his just desserts. Thank you Chance Carter for this erotic romance filled with heart.

HEART-MELTING SPICY ROMANCE

ENTICING-MELT-YOUR-HEART read that captures your attention with a bit of family drama, betrayal, humor, hot-blazing intense romance and a happy ever after with a few surprises.

Derek's dad is ill has only three months to live. His relationship with Derek has not been the best and he has given him an ultimatum of forcing him to give him an heir or lose his inheritance. Amy is quite the beauty but is also intelligent and has an uplifting personality. Derek yearns for his dad to be proud of him; he asks Amy to be his fake fiance and also pretend she is carrying his unborn child to appease his dad's whims.

LOVED this intriguing spicy story as it held my attention until the fantastic conclusion. The romance between Derek and Amy is more than convincing as they truly are a perfect match. I love the way this author portrays his characters - Derek is definitely hot and charismatic and I loved Amy in this read as she is stout-hearted and her love for family shines. If you treasure romance this is definitely a great book for your library. I enjoyed this story so much {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this read.

Chance Carter has a way with words and creating his enticing storylines. Derek is the son of a billionaire who only has three months to live. In order to inherit his father’s assets, he needs to prove that he is stable by getting married and having a child. Amelia (aka Amy) is a struggling college student who comes to interview at Derek’s company for an internship. The sparks begin flying as soon as they meet but Amy does not believe that Derek would ever be attracted to her as they live in different worlds. By a miraculous twist of fate, the two wind up together at a bar and the following day Derek outlines his plan for making his dying father happy by enlisting Amy’s help. Will she decide to help Derek? What will Derek do if she turns him down? This is one riveting book where the reader falls head over heels for the characters and fist pumps when one not so nice character gets his comeuppance. This is one book you want to add to your bookshelf.

This was pretty great. I almost gave it 4 stars and likely would have if the writing had been a little stronger. Overall, it was not disappointing. Wealthy, sexy hero? Check. Sweet, innocent, selfless heroine who is deserving of a little pampering? Check. Sexy times? Check. Slimy villain (who didn't quite get the comeuppance this blood-thirsty reader was hoping for)? Check.

Amy and Derek were enjoyable protagonists and while their relationship was a slight case of insta-love, it wasn't over the top unbelievable. It seems plausible that two people could enter into a mutually beneficial scheme to fool an old man (in the essence of helping him die happy) and after a week of getting to know one another realize there could be a real connection between the two of them. I've certainly read romance with flimsier plots. I'd give this one 3.75 stars!

WOW !, just WOW ! Amy and Dereck set my kindle on fire. The emotions that filled this story captivated me and kept me on my seat , riveted to every single word. I was so intrigued with the storyline that I couldn’t put the book down. It’s a book that leaves you wanting more. I can’t say enough about it. Anything I say about this book could never praise it enough. Every time I say Chance has outdone himself, he blows me out of the water with a book that is totally amazing. My saying it’s a definite must read book doesn’t do it justice. It’s a book that shouldn’t be passed up or ignored. Absolutely amazing Chance. Way to go

A fake fiance romance with baby surprise.
This one is a fast-paced sweet sexy read. There's lies, drama and a lot of hotness.
Although some facts kinda bothering me and everything felt rushed at the end, I still enjoying it.

As for characters, Derek and Amy are pretty hot as a couple, I wished there's more about them though, it feels like all is about lust and I didn't feel the develop of their love.

If you're looking for hot sexy read, you might like this one.

This book quickly pulled me in and kept me reading until the last page - I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between the two characters was palpable and had me rooting for their happiness. I liked how Derek knew he could never real please his father but continued to try to bring him some happiness. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

Derek a businessman and someone who now has to find someone to lie about not only being his girlfriend but also lie about being pregnant . Derek is given an ultimatum by his father he ponders on it. Then, Derek meets Amy for intern interview.....OMG!!! it starts the chain reaction. The book has lots of sex, love, conflict, betrayal, humor. Do not want to give any spoiler alerts or more about the book. This is the book you want to read, you will not be disappointed because wants you start you will not be able to put it down until you finish it. This book is an awesome read everyone. Mr Chance Carter has outdone himself. Highly Recommended

Chance does not disappoint a very good story line. David's has always done everything to please his father but now his father want to see him married and with a heir before he dies. How to please him, easy with a fake pregnant fiancé, that is where Amy comes in. She is David's new intern, he forms his plan and gets Amy to go alone with it.

Wow! With each book that Chance writes it just get better and better!
Derek's father is dying and they have not had the best relationship. What Derek wants most before his father passes is his approval. Amy is a college student who doesn't have the best opinion of herself. The personal growth that these two provide for each other, without really knowing it, is beautiful. They just compliment each other so well. I guess you could say they just "fit". There are couples that you just know should have their HEA. As with any couple they have their ups and downs, and a misunderstanding that could be the end of them.
This has a great storyline, and is a wonderful love story, but in true Chance Carter style the sex is also hot and steamy!! This is another one by Chance that will have you on a roller coaster of emotions, but in a very good way! I love it!! I voluntarily read an ARC and leaving an honest review. I also 1-clicked bought the book!

Derek is a millionaire  who had no plans of settling down. His dad and him do not have the best of relationships but he needs to make things right between him and his dad before he dies.His dad says the only way he will forgive him is giving him a baby. Amy is an ordinary girl looking for an internship. She interviews with the boss him self Derek. There was something about Amy that got Derek's attention. He hired her. Amy has some self esteem issues. Derek try's to compliment her but she does not see it. Amy is a virgin Derek comes up this great plan to ask her to go along with him and tell his dad that she was having his baby. There is a lot of things that happen to these 2. Will the father believe that she is pregnant? This is one of Chance Carter's hotter books. An excellent read.

The Baby Favor is a seductively sweet romantic read with enough sparks and sizzle to keep you warm and toasty. Derek and Amy are socially polar opposites who are drawn to each as though they are connected by an every-shortening tether. They cant stay away or keep their hands off of each other. You will fall in love right along with them, share their joys and cry over their heart breaks.

I really liked this book and thoroughly enjoyed reading it, it was very well written with an interesting concept and well developed characters. Thank you, Chance Carter for this offering, it is a sure winner, pure gold or Diamonds.

Derek and Amy's attraction to each starts immediately and their love story continues with such wonderful, loving and sensual writing by Chance Carter. . There are ups and downs like all true loves, they have to go through it and believe in each other against all odds. What starts out as a favor being asked and agreed upon becomes so much more for both of them. I love this story, one of hopes and dreams in finding our one true love that inspires us all to have in our lives. Thank you Chance for such a beautiful romance with very hot sensuality.

This book is a total delight with entertainment .
All emotions on full alert. It’s more than an enjoyment to read and the character’s chemistry is always the charts.

The plot was well constructed, I need a second story from this. Ohh. The sex is so hot. That’s more than five stars for this author.
Chance always surprises me with his way of putting a story together. He definitely has a calling and it’s to be a writer, author an entertainer of senses .
Whether this is an ARC, I totally loved reading it and my opinions are my own.

This is my first Chance Carter I really enjoyed reading this book. I identified with Amy throughout the whole story. I like how Derek accepted her and her flaws; didn't use his wealth to get what he wanted. I was amazed that Amy helped Derek and Walter heal their relationship as well. The slimy lawyer deserved to take a long walk of off a short pier.

Steamy romance from beginning to end!

These 2 are hot for each other from the day they meet! Lovers 1st, then friends, then co-conspirators in a couple days! She's part of the family within a couple more. I love how fast their relationship moves. They know everything they need to know about one another within a week and the rest is just details. Excellent book Mr Carter.
