What a sweet way to end the series. The couples: Reason and Bronx, Teague and Brim, Torren and Ayah, last but not least, Edge and Reece, were stronger than ever. Everyone had new additions to their family, and the family dynamics were rock solid. Torren knew that Ayah was the one for him, and he took the leap of faith to show her as such. There wasn't any measures to what the men would do for their significant others. Teague and Torren's mother was doing better than ever, and they finally had the bond they always wanted.
The only one that wasn't committed was the father, Melvin, who was a dog that couldn't be taught new tricks. Tia knew what it was, and chose to go that path, and the same way she met Melvin, was the same way she lost him. Tia was definitely deserved karma at it's best, but because she was family, by default, but she would always be taken care of. It sad that Kinsley was mixed up in the rapture, but at least, she wasn't old enough to know what was going on.
Ayah's aunt, Ronya, was a piece of work. I couldn't believe that she tried to take Torren and Ayah for granted. Ronya should have been glad that Ayah loved Shawn in the way that she did. Instead, she used Torren to support her lifestyle, and that wasn't right. She knew all along that her sick boyfriend wanted Ayah, and instead of trying to protect Ayah, she did nothing at all. Torren set Ronya straight, and her well had definitely dried. It was more highs than lows in this series, and it was a good read.
