Craved by the Dragon

Rate this book
All non-Irish dragon-shifters are being banished from Ireland and Brenna Rossi’s only chance to stay with the clan she’s grown to love is to mate one of the Irish dragons—Killian O’Shea. Even though he’s lost his memory and and his dragon, she’s drawn to him and looks forward to some no strings attached heat between the sheets. However, the more time she spends with him, the more she realizes that maybe she does want a future with Killian. The only question is whether or not there will be one.

Killian O’Shea lost his dragon and his memory. He has no idea who he is or why everyone keeps asking him to remember them. The only person who doesn’t try to change him is Brenna Rossi, which is why he agreed to mate her. But just as he starts to enjoy his new bride, Killian learns that whatever drug had been used on him isn’t finished yet and that maybe there are worse things in the world than losing your memory.

As things deteriorate, Brenna tries to do everything she can to keep Killian whole and sane. But the more she helps him, the more she starts to wonder if she’ll lose the man she’s falling for. Will Brenna and Killian find a way to bring back his memories and dragon? Or, will they forge a new path to be together?

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!

The cover is another beauty! They all work well together! I can’t even describe why it works… it just does!

This is the 11th book in the Stonefire series, and while not required, I highly recommend reading all of the dragon books in the order written for the most awesome adventure possible! It is for adult only due to the scorching steamy scenes!

Poor Killian is trying to figure out who he is because of his loss of memory and dragon. Everyone is working to figure out what happened and what caused all the trouble, so they can prevent further attacks. Brenna is amazing and strong though she doesn’t think so. Brenna and Killian both need each other in more ways than they have figured out. There is all sorts of cool things happening in this book that has never happened before, but I refuse to ruin it for you! You must read it for yourself because there are amazing things going on in this book! There is also some sadness with the happiness that made me cry. This book has it all and makes for an awesome reading adventure!

I highly recommend to all dragon shifter lovers out there; if you haven’t read any of Jessie’s books, then you are missing out! She is one of my favorite authors, and I always know I’m in for a great read with her books!

Craved by the Dragon is number 11 in the Stonefire series (and its spin-off, Lochguard, is on number 5 now), I have read all of them and I am a massive fan. Craved by the Dragon was no different, I loved it. But I must confess it was my least favorite so far. There was just too much going on.
I love when the books have plenty of interaction with past characters and my heart sang with joy at all the moments Tristan and Evie graced the pages with their appearance, it was wonderful to see them again. Bram too. But there were way too many new characters and side stories, it took the focus away from Killian and Brenna. Without going back into the book or doing too much thinking I can come up with 3 new couples and 2 new side characters that were mentioned a few too many times. Sadly, all that side ‘action’ not just took the focus away but also made the story drag for me. I wanted more of the main characters and ended up getting annoyed every time it side-tracked.
All that being said, I love Jessie Donovan’s dragon shifter stories and I did enjoy Killian and Brenna’s story too. Killian’s before and after memory loss personalities got brilliantly depicted by his inner dragon and since what happens to him is an entire new concept I didn’t know what was going to happen to him and found myself guessing till the end, which is always a fan thing with books. On series this long predictability cab be an issue and Jessie Donovan managed to beautifully avoid that.
If you are a supernatural romance fan I would certainly recommend starting this series, and even though this was my least favorite in the series it still is a solid 3.75/5.

Killian is just a charming, grumpy man, that likes to get handsy with his woman, "he chuckled. "At least something's remained constant during all the changes." His hand moved down her back to her bum. "You still fit perfectly against my body." I really enjoyed this book, Brenna was so good for Killian.

Killian's book was way different than I thought it would be. It's nice changing things up, keep them fresh. I will read the other series immediately after ending this one. I just feel torn from having too many possible couples and not having their stories been told. Oh, well!

MY NEW STONEFIRE FAVORITE!!!
Title: Craved by the Dragon
Series: Stonefire British Dragons
Author: Jessie Donovan
Designation: Book Eleven of Series, Full-Length(Ebook Edition: Approximately 280 PAGES), Can Be Read As Standalone, No Cliffhanger, HEA #paranormalromance #fantasy #dragonshifters
My Rating: Five Fabulously Entertaining Stars*****
Oh my! Another fabulous addition to the series and my new Stonefire favorite! Jessie Donovan has captured my heart yet again with Craved by the Dragon, a mesmerizing full-length standalone novel and eleventh release in her bestselling Stonefire British Dragons Series. I adore fantasy, love paranormal romance, and totally enamored with dragon shifters, but give me all three in one great read and I'm in heaven! Jessie Donovan excels at delivering the perfect combination and this book is no exception! I've been a diehard Donovan fan for several years and adore her comfortable, easy-to-follow style, but it's truly her extraordinary world building and in-depth character development that captures my imagination in every story. Donovan's dragonshifter world is completely unlike anything I've ever encountered. In my humble opinion, Donovan pens some of the most creative and imaginative paranormal romance I've ever read, and I've been reading over 65 years, so that's quite a statement. And just when I think Donovan couldn't possibly surprise me again, she delivers an unexpected left hook and blindsides me with another inventive storyline that blows everything else out of the water! This book is completely different than anything she's written to date, and I loved it! Now, let me tell you why!

Craved by the Dragon is an exciting, fast-paced, well-crafted, highly-imaginative paranormal tale filled to the brim with danger, drama, angst, suspense, passion, and heartwarming romance. The dialogue is smart, snappy, well executed, at times hilarious, and flows effortlessly. The narrative is beautifully written in the third person with multiple points of view. The primary perspectives in this story are given by the two protagonists, beautiful, young Stonefire Protector Brenna Rossi, and handsome, gruff, growly Killian O'Shea, former Head Protector of Clan Glenlough. If those two names sound familiar, they should. Both of these characters have popped up frequently in several of Donovan's previous releases and most of Donovan's fans have been eagerly awaiting their story since Killian lost his dragon along with all of his memories in Aiding the Dragon, Book 9 of the series... including me. I'd already fallen head over heels for these two very stubborn, larger-than-life characters long before this book was released. I'm fascinated by the strong, independent female characters in Donovan's stories and Brenna Rossi doesn't disappoint. Brenna is one tough dragonwoman, one who takes names, kicks butts and can hold her own against males and females alike, and that includes Killian O'Shea. She's a remarkable character with a demanding job and complex past but so deserving of love and Killian O'Shea was the perfect choice. I knew when Donovan finally told their story, it would be spectacular and indeed it was! I'll admit I had my doubts about Killian. He hasn't been very likable in any of Donovan's previous books but as in true Donovan form, the layers are peeled away to reveal a multi-layered character with a complicated history. Killian and Brenna are both determined, stubborn, strong-willed characters with dominant alpha personalities yet surprisingly, their pairing worked. Their verbal and physical sparring is beyond entertaining. Their interaction is electric, their banter hilarious, their attraction undeniable, and their sexual chemistry is so hot it sizzled. The conversations these dragon shifters have in their heads with their dragons is outrageously funny. Interestingly, the dragon personas of Donovan's dragonshifters are not just a minor part of her stories but are separate entities with their own characteristics, voices, and opinions, and are just as important to the plot and storyline as their human counterparts. They take on a life of their own actually giving us two characters rather than one. I've never encountered another author who gives so much voice to the animal alter of each character. It's one of the things I love most about Donovan's stories and has never been more evident than in this storyline. Which brings me to my favorite component of every Donovan story...the characters. They are unique, refreshing, engaging, endearing and at times, laugh-out-loud funny. Donovan is an exceptionally gifted storyteller who excels at creating unique, imaginative worlds and populating them with captivating characters who literally explode from the pages, grab your attention, engage your imagination and completely capture your heart. You can mention almost any character's name from any of Donovan's dragon series to a fellow fan and they will immediately be able to tell you who they are, to what clan they belong, whether they have a mate and if so, their name as well as their occupation and if they have any children. These characters have become family which is another thing I truly enjoy about Donovan's work. The worlds of her series are interconnected and the characters regularly overlap so it's not unusual to see Lochguard characters making an appearance in a Stonefire story and Stonefire characters showing up in a Lochguard book. And recently, Donovan has also introduced characters from several new clans in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Italy, and America. I loved seeing so many of our favorite characters in this story but Donovan treats us again with the introduction of several more intriguing new characters. I can hardly wait to find out more about them. It's just bloody brilliant which brings me to another point. Although this story is a full-length standalone novel with its own happy ending, there is a common underlying interconnected storyline running throughout Donovan's Stonefire and Lochguard series. Donovan always gives ample backstory in each book enabling a reader to easily follow along making it possible to enjoy each book as a standalone but to enrich your reading experience, I highly recommend reading all the books of the series. It's one decision I'm sure you'll never regret.

No spoilers from me but I will say this... A handsome, growly dragon shifter with no memories and no dragon-check! A beautiful dragonshifter Protector determined to follow her dreams and never allow another male to steal her identity or her heart-check! A mating of convenience that may turn out to be so much more-check! Three very stubborn dragons-check! A realization that an enemy can come in many forms-check! Danger, drama, angst, a very surprising conflict, and despite the situation, a whole lot of cheeky humor-check! Undeniable attraction, steamy passion, dreamy romance, and a heartwarming happy ending-you bet! That and a whole lot more! Will Brenna find a way to follow her dreams as well as her heart? Will Killian recover or will his memories be lost to him forever and possibly even his life? We'll see, but in this case, maybe two heads are really better than one! Sometimes, the hardest battle of all is with ourselves!

Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! It gave me all the elements I enjoy most in a great book including danger, drama, adventure, suspense, explosive passion, romance, and a very unusual storyline. Without a doubt, Craved by the Dragon is some of Donovan's best work to date. I really don't know how she'll top this story, but I'm sure she will! Would I recommend it? You bet and I am, but only for adult readers since it does contain some very cheeky dragon shifters with very, randy dragons, a little naughty language, and some steamy, dreamy love scenes. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! And finally, was I entertained? Completely!! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

This is another interesting and good installment of Jessie Donovan's dragon universe. But unlike previous books, this one has two different couples getting together, but they are connected though. I really loved Killian's character, he was fascinating and so were his dragons. Brenna annoyed me a lot in this book and was the character I least liked in this book, she was just to self absorbed and bratty for me. Lorcan was another fantastic character and I loved him from the get go, he is another great clan leader. I did not like Caitlin all that much because she was too timid for my liking, she was not a bad character, I just do not like timid people personally, I find them annoying.

This book was overall great and I liked it a lot and really did not like putting it down for even bathroom breaks lol. The romances were good, the characters were mostly good, storyline was EPIC and totally a new concept that was utterly fascinating to read and I had no idea how it was going to end, so it was a surprise til the very end. Like the other books, the continuity was incredible and hats of the Jessie for being able to remember everyone and their relationships to each other. Lastly, I just want to mention that I desperately want Adrian to get his own book, I have totally fell in love with that big dragon viking softie lol

So Brenna and Killian are now Stonefire dragons and happily mated. It was a great ending and I highly recommend this book. The one and only thing that I will complain about with this book, was there were way to many story lines going on within this book. Because apart from Killian and Brenna, as well as Caitlin and Lorcan, we got a bit about Adrian (though only a glimpse, he has not mated or got a happily ever after) and we also got a glimpse of a new character and possible couple to be, Zain and Ivy. But since they were just small parts, I will not review them here and only review them in their own books.

All in all though, very good book and cannot wait for the next one.

Craved by the Dragon Stonefire British Dragons Book 11
by Jessie Donovan
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have enjoyed reading this awe-inspiring tale of a Dragon shifters this story spans and impacts the lives of these dragon shifters. I enjoy this entire cast of characters they are all so amazing! This is book 11 of the Stonefire British dragons it's full of drama, suspense, passion and excitement. The characters are so unforgettable and just their part along would keep you turning page after page. I have enjoyed and admired Jessie Donovan writing style for quite a while now. Its so amazing that I have had this opportunity to read all of her books in her Dragon series, I’ve been a fan of her's since she first published this series. Jessie Donovan is one of the authors that made me a totally Book Geek plus a avid book
reader of Dragon shifters and all things Paranormal genre! I am always excited that she has a new book in this series planned, As a book stalker of Ms. Donovan I am even more excited to find out that this series is expanding into a great library! What strikes me most about this series is the intricate world building. The series takes place in a world based in British, Scotland, Ireland, it’s a world based upon dragons, true mates magic and love. Book 11 in this Stonefire British Dragons series features Brenna Rossi and Killian O’Shea, our main characters, each of whom has a specific talents as protectors that makes them an integral part of the story. Craved by the Dragon raises the ante as Brenna and Killian realize that their mating is not what it seems to be. There are worse things in the world than losing your memory and your dragon, but can a dragon who will do anything to help their mate grow to love them, even though he’s lost his memory and and his dragon. Oh my this story from the beginning to the end is absolutely captivating. The way it gives us the readers a amazing Paranormal world to read about is really fantastic, unique, and well done. The sexy times are steamy, sharp, vivid, grabs your attention, making this series so fantastic that I highly recommend it for all us lovers of both paranormal and romance.

The eleventh book in the series and it was probably my favorite! When I found out that Brenna and Killian's story was next to be released after the novella Finding the Dragon came out in the fall, I was beyond excited. Because Aiding the Dragon left us with a cliffhanger of what will happen to Killian after his abduction and memories erased? I was looking to forward to his journey on whether or not he would regain his dragon and his memories and it was a story that was told beautifully by Jessie.

I loved the relationship between Killian and Brenna. Ever since Brenna arrived at Glenough she was attracted to Killian, yet he showed no interest in her. The Killian we met is a hardcore warrior, intent on protecting his family and clan. He is serious and his only focus is on his job. So what happens when he has no memories? For the first time, Killian can focus on himself and what he needs and what he wants to do with his life. And what he is finding to like is Brenna. She is the only one who treats him as a normal person. She isn't pushing him to find his dragon or recover his memories. She takes him as he is and is honest and caring towards him. He appreciates it and begins to really lean toward her, which he has never let himself do with anyone else.

What was great about this story, besides the building romance and watching these two great characters fall in love, was that we got a very close look of what is inside a dragon-shifter's mind. Killian is on a journey to find himself and his inner dragon once more and the journey is surprising and actually pretty awesome to follow. (I hate spoilers, so I will not being doing that!)

Another great thing we got in this story was that we got to see some beloved characters once again that we haven't seen in a while. And how they are doing on Stonefire.

And another surprise the book gave us was another love story! Caitlin O'Shea, Teagan and Killian's mother, in a small sacrifice to help her son regain his memories, she finds love once more with someone from her past. This allows us another look at a different dragon clan. And I instantly loved some of these new characters and hope we get to see more of them!

We are introduced to a bunch new characters and two of which will be the stars of the next Stonefire book. I'm looking forward to learning more about the Dragon Knights and getting to know more of these new characters. And of course getting to see the old ones as well. Each story in this series gets better and better, and Craved by the Dragon was definitely a favorite, if not my top favorite of this series! Can't wait to see what else Jessie has in store for us.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Holy. Effing. Cow! I knew this book was going to be something different I was not, however, expecting it to be this good. I started reading this book with anxiety because all I wanted to know was if Killian was going to have his Dragon back. What came was so unexpected I enjoyed the twists the freaking history of the dragons. This book basically came with more insight into the dragons than that of previous ones. I think this book IS most DEFINITELY my favorite one. And A LOT happens in this one book that will blow your mind and get you excited and keep you guessing. Cause it sure did to me!!

Character breakdown;

Brenna; I knew she was ambitious I knew she was determine to be what others thought she could never and the girl is one to admire. What I did not expect was how much more she was, between standing by her mate doing her duties and caring for her family. For a 21year old? It was impressive. I loved her determination through her loyalty and her love. Definitely wise for her age I look forward to getting more of her.

Killian; I loved Killian since I first got a glimpse of him I am a total sucker for the grumpy broody arseholes! They are way more than meets the eye. And Killian was just that, funny flirty fierce and protective. He saddened me but intrigued me as well and the more I got from him the more I liked. His past and how he loved his family were impressive. I wasn't expecting what he will become, I have a feeling there's more coming for him and Brenna, and I look forward towards this.

I also look forward towards ALL other books that are to come I don't know how she does it but Jessie makes every book more interesting every time. Aiding the dragon was awesome, Finding the dragon was good but this book? Craved By the dragon was GREAT! With so much coming so many questions and oh so many possibilities and theories I can hardly keep my head straight. And with that curve ball Jessie threw into the mix I wonder how much things will change. The next book in this particular series might just be explosive! I. Cant. Wait.

Glenough Dragons Clan:
Killian O ‘Shea, the brother of the Irish clan leader was abducted and drugged. This has resulted in the loss of his memories and his dragon. Before the abduction we find a serious no nonsense Head Protector of his clan. After his abduction we find a grumpy broody man that faces a loss of flying and his constant companion. He is having blackouts and dreams of a young dragon and a fierce older dangerous dragon. He wants to remember but will he succumb to the older dangerous dragon. Could these drugs be killing him?
Brenna Rossi, on loan to the Irish clan from the Stonefire Dragon, is attracted to Killian. She can only stay and help Protect the clan if she is mated to an Irish Glenough Dragon. Brenna has come to love being at Glenough, she is a Protector and feels at home. She wants to help Killian as she has come to know him as a man. Brenna has an idea that maybe visiting Stonefire’s doctors could help Killian.
They agree to mate. Although there is no mating frenzy they could make this work. Caitlin, Killian’s mother, in an attempt to help him regain his memories agrees to meet Lorcan, the Clan leader of the Northern Ireland Dragons. She was a sweet additional love story within a love story.
As the blackouts continue, they travel to Stonefire Clan. As the shy quiet young dragon emerges, Brenna’s dragon goes into a mating frenzy and wants Killian. What will happen when the older, violent, dangerous dragon emerges, can these two dragons learn to get along? Will this process end in heart break for both Killian and Brenna?
After ten books (this is the eleventh) in The Stonefire Dragons I am still as intrigued as ever with these dragons and author. This is a must read. The characters are great and intriguing. The world building is expanding and getting more and more involved. We get a taste of the Northern Ireland Dragons, their Clan leader Lorcan and his daughter. We see a glimpse of the Dragon Knights. There is so much going on in this book.

Two Heads Are Better Than One!

My very favorite dragon men in the world, not to mention those critter that have a mind of their own and let their humans know too. Having one is a job, but can you imagine 2, a grumpy opinionated one and a smart headed teenager????? I love the interaction!

In the last book Killian O'Shea head protector and brother of the leader of the Glenlough Clan is captured and injected with an unknown substance that has stolen his memories completely and took away his dragon, he doesn't know himself, or even that he is a dragon shifter. He is tired of everyone walking on eggshells around him, he just wants to be left alone, well not completely. Brenna is different, she treats him as he wishes all would, but more than that he is having naughty thoughts about the very attractive Head Protector.

Breena Rossi has had a crush on Killian since before his capture, only the male avoided her. Now he is different, he is malleable and she wants him, but duty must come first and one of those is to help Killian.. Is it so bad that one of those duties is to mate with him, but she makes it very clear that there is to be no hankie pankie, really???? Can she enforce that condition?

What fun to hear the 2 dragons in Killian bickering for dominance..They must come to a truce, or risk that one of them has to go. Will the child dragon be mature enough to comply and will grumpy stubborn dragon cede to it?

In the meantime, a human girl is found unconscious on Stonefire lands and she may just have the means to end the dragon haters, or is it just a trap?

Brenna and Killian are the toughest protectors next to Kai. And so much is going on in this book. We not only are finding out more about Teagan’s clan but also trying to build an alliance with Northcastle. Plus we have mum Caitlin wanting to play a part and helping with the clan leader of Northcastle Lorcan. I have to say I love that once again the older dragons found someone. Caitlin needed to find happiness like her children and I really like Lorcan.

Killian having to deal with Black and Blue was challenging but very interesting. Let’s face it, we haven’t had a two-headed dragon chatting and bickering ever. I really enjoy that Blue was so innocent and cute. He was the baby and needed to learn but this time without the hang up of to fight but more play. And Black, well since he was the more adult side, he still needed to learn control and to find a happiness beyond work. Brenna brought out both and made Killian complete. I was worried that his memories would screw everything up. But they seemed to enhance things and the true Killian came out.

Then we have Brenna’s parents. I mean come on, how much more can she and Killian take. It was positive and negative. UGH! We also have Adrian and his issue with the DDA inspector Elsie Day. You know that is going to be an interesting one like all the others have been. What is he so afraid of with her? And now we have another person (human) in the mix, Ivy Passmore. What is her importance to Stonefire and is she Zain Kinsella’s mate?

It’s going to be a long wait for Persuading the Dragon (Zain & Ivy) but at least we will get to read about Arabella & Finn in Dragon Family and Alistair in Dragon’s Discovery.

Ohhh my gosh!!!!
What an amazing story!!!!
I love love love Killian and Brenda!!!!!
And what can I say about the two strong yet charming and stubborn dragons in him!!!!
I loved the interaction between the two!
It was a fun, emotional, action filled book that made my head spin and my heart speed faster.
Another great addition to the series and another winner for the author!!!!!

Craved By the Dragon, Stonefire Dragons #11

Jessie Donovan

We first met Brenna Rossi and Killian O’Shea in “Aiding the Dragon”. They met at a time when clan Stonefire needed allies and clan Glenlough fit that bill. Little did anyone know then that the anti-dragon groups would get so far in their devious tactics to subdue and conquer dragons.

Now we find Brenna and Killian on the verge of mating. Only there are complications, since Killian has lost his dragon! In fact Killian could not remember …..anyone! This tiny detail was driving him mad and driving wedges everywhere between Killian and everyone. Brenna was the only one who could seem to calm him….

What was going on? Why was Brenna drawn to the enraged dragon-man? How could Killian function as a Protector without a Dragon? Was Killian’s Dragon really……….gone? Why was Killian dreaming about Brenna?

As per usual Jessie has again got her readers in her spell! This complex tale of dragon courtship has as many twists as spiral pasta! Dark forces are at work trying to divide dragons from their humans, while keeping everyone on edge. We get glimpses of other clans, renewing ties with old friends while the foes seem to be just at the edge of the picture.

The Romance is thrilling, steamy while the suspense keeps you guessing! If this sounds like something you want to read, I suggest starting with “Aiding the Dragon” first, to understand the background, while setting the stage for this book.

CRAVED BY THE DRAGON

Another fantastic book by this incredible author. In all the years I have been reading Jessie Donovan’s books I have never been disappointed. When I receive her arcs I’m always excited to read them as soon as possible and this one was no different. Killian and Brenna are amazing characters and I loved them a lot. Their story is one of love but also heartbreak as they battle with themselves to do whats right for the other. As they clash with their own feelings and that of their dragons, they struggle to find their HEA. I also loved Lorcan and Caitlin’s story which was integrated into the main storyline, and we also see a few faces from past books and also a few new ones. This author is the best at writing intricate storylines, where there is always so much more going on than the one main story. This was an intriguing and captivating read, that drew me in with every word, and I literally could not put the book down till it was finished. I would however recommend that you read this series in order, to get a better understanding of the world this author has created and its wonderful characters. Another fantastic read that I absolutely loved and I highly recommend. A copy was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book with my honest opinion.

📍 You know I love Ms. Jessie's books, this one was a little different. We have the fierce and loyal females who stands up for themselves and Loyal to their Clan. Ms. Jessie always has you on the edge of your seat from the first word, to the last.
⚡Brenna Rossi is a Dragon Shifter Protecter at Clan Stonefire, her Clan Leader sends her off as a loan to Clan Glenough. She fights tirelessly for the cure of the drug that was used on Killian. Brenna is ferocious yet I had tears, feeling her heartbreak, yet joy of her attraction than her HEA. OMG what a book!!
⚡Killian O’Shea is a Dragon Shifter who was abducted and has lost all of his memory from the drugs that was administered to him. He didn't know who he was, where he came from, nothing even his dragon was lost to him. He didn't know who the people were of his clan and he was tired being asked if he remember someone. What he does know is that Brenna treats him for who he is now, never expecting anything of him.
🔹️This book is quite a love story. Definitely a Must Read!

Ms. Donovan's world building is awesome and I absolutely love her dragon shifter books whether they be Stonefire, Lochgard or Glenlough only to mention a few of the clans involved in her interconnected dragon series books.

In this addition all non Irish dragons must leave and Brenna Rossi agrees to be Killian O'Shea's mate in order to stay. Killian is the brother of the leader Teagan and in the last skirmish to determine her leadership he was kidnapped and later found with no memory or dragon. Brenna was assigned as his guard because she is a Protector, she wants nothing but the best for Killian as she has been drawn to him since arriving although he pays her no attention until now when Brenna is the only one who is honest with him and has no expectations of him. As he struggles to remember he finally looks at Brenna.

There is so much more to this story as I laughed, cried and fell in love all over again. If you love dragons, a bit of mystery, an on going story arc and of course passion and romance then I highly recommend this story as well as the author.

I voluntarily read an advance copy and have not been compensated in any way for this honest opinion.

So I enjoy Brenna and I enjoy Killian however I don't know if I enjoy them together. This book didn't do anything for me like the others in this series. I feel as though this book is a filler book however it was written beautifully. I just don't see how this book is going to do anything to move along the series and the only significant thing rhat occured was not until the last 2 hours of the book.

This could have been a novella and could have been just fine with me. The fact that it's a full length book is what did me in. There were times were I zoned out while listening to this because it was so long. I understand some people love Brenna and Killian and wanted a full-length book but it didn't need to be. Also the fact that his Dragon form is different trips me out of it. I get the concept but the fact in reality is weird. I would have loved to see more of how he functions in his Dragon form but we didn't get that.

We got a lot of Easter eggs for future books in this and just like filler books getting Easter eggs to set up other books as what tends to happen. I might get judge for it but that is how I feel.

11th in Series

Two characters, whom you meet in another book, get married as a ploy, and then fall in love. Oh, they are shape-shifting dragons. The book is fairly entertaining. The author does something new with the dragons, which was interesting to read. But its it's not as good as the rest in the series.

The plotting is weak, at best. The story surrounding the main characters is shorter, and feels less fleshed out than it should. For a portion of the book, the story is from three other people's perspectives, surrounding two other love stories.

It feels rushed. The climax comes out of left field, and has no real relevance to the main story- but rather just something that happens to the main female protagonist. How the author fixes the main issue (which would normally be the climax) is by placing a new person at the end who magically has the answers.

I was entertained, but only because I have grown to love the setting so much.

This is another great addition to the series. I highly recommend you read them all. The author has her own special style with her dragon shifters and it is like no other.

Brenna needs to make a tough choice. If she wants to stay in her new community, she needs to marry Killian. Killian is still suffering with memory loss and other challenges. There is a strong attraction but what will happen if he gets back his memory?

I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Brenna is young buy very mature and has been thru some real rough times. Killian has really changed since the incident. He didn't seem interested in her before he lost his memory and that worries them both. They really struggle with what is best not only for themselves but for each other and their communities. There is a real twist to the story that is very new to the series.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

This is perhaps my favorite book in Jessie Donovan’s dragon shifter series. It brings together many characters previously met/mentioned from the other clans/books and we are introduced to even more interesting personalities & relationships. Killian was critically injured (in Aiding the Dragon); Craved by the Dragon is about his battle to survive. The problems he deals with are complex & imaginative. I loved his story.
I highly recommend readers at least begin with “Aiding” before jumping into “Craved” - you won’t be disappointed (Killian’s sister’s story in Aiding is very good & explains how Killian gets injured).
If you like reading about dragon shifters, Jessie Donovan’s stories are HEAs with action & heart. They are positive, rather than dark. I find them delightful!
Sexual intimacy does occur between mated/married pairs (not a lot in this book); please make note if you find that offensive.

Another fantastic addition to Stonefire series. I must say it has become one of my favorite!!! I was super excited to find out that we were going to get Killian's story since Aiding the Dragon ended on a cliffhanger. It was definitely worth the wait. I was anxious to find out what the out come was going to be with Killian will he regain his memories his dragon. I loved seeing the relationship between Brenna and Killian the struggle they both had to endure but to see them grow and come together as a couple was amazing. Also I like seeing beloved characters that we haven't seen in while and how they were doing on Stonefire. Overall enjoyable and entertaining read looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Fantastic!

Killians and brennas story was beautiful in its own way. It was funny and I had several tears when an unexpected event happened. I thought it was romantic and the sex was hot too. Killian had lost his memories and he just wants for everyone to leave him alone except Brenna. Brenna is returning home to face her past and help killian recover his memories. Killian is told not to hurt Brenna because she truest fancies him but on his state he thinks it would be selfish if he starts something that can hurt Brenna. This is a great book. Once starting to read you are hooked because not only does the author talk about killians and Brenna stories I believe she has also started mentioning a few other characters for future books and I hope to get a chance on reading them soon. Loved and definitely recommend this series.

I loved this book! Definitely longer than previous books in the series and brilliant from start to finish. Brenna and Killian were a great match and I love how things have been resolved for them, although I was sad for Brenna's mother. I also enjoyed the hint for one of the next book! Looks like Zain is up soon for a book and I already like his love interest although we only met her briefly at the end. I'm also hoping Adrian gets a book as there seems to be an interesting story regarding him and his true mate who he spent his time avoiding. I'm sure he can't hide from her forever as she seemed keen to talk to make contact with him! Can't wait for the next book!

This story was awesome. Brenna Rossi had to mate Killian O'Shea to stay in Ireland. Brenna was to be Killian's guard. Breena wants to help Killian get back his dragons. She and his family try everything that can think of doing Killian is trying to figure out who he is with out his dragon. As Killian is remembering more of his pass, his health declines. So Breena and Killian go to Stonefire to help him. Killian as unique problem as he finally connects with his dragons again. He is going to need Brenna and some of her Stonefire friends to help him gain control of his dragons. Brenna and Killian going to work together to what they both want; each other.

This installment in the series, was well worth the wait. Very interesting plot twists. Great character development, and glimpses of possible stories to come with the introduction of new characters.
I love the way Ms. Donovan threads old and new together in both characters and story line. This book delves into more detail about the inner dragon, and what it's like to have two personalities sharing the same space.
This book could be read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading it as part of the series. The books together, build on each other, and it enrichens the story overall.
This book was fun to read, and it will more than likely be read again.

I knew I was go to love Killian and Brenna's book just from their built up in his sisters book 'Aiding the Dragon' but I didn't realize just how much until I started reading it and didn't want to put it down. Once again Jessie Donovan did an amazing job getting her story across the pages to form an intriguing, twist turning, emotional, always sexy, adventurous book in her dragon world. I not only loved the struggles both Brenna and Killian faced on their own and as a growing couple but the several hints of other stories and couples hopefully to follow.
