I've only seen one play by Mulvany (her very good adaptation of Jasper Jones - far better than the film adaptation), but I would definitely like to see more. This somewhat autobiographical offering was one of her first, I believe, and it reads very well on the page, telling a compelling story of a family that's broken across three generations, from Ireland and the UK to Australia, via the Vietnam War.

Such strong writing. I can see why this did so well for Kate.
