He's not looking for her kind of trouble at his Roadhouse. But if it comes, he won't run.

New York Times bestselling author, Victoria Danann, adds an unlikely romance that leads two lonely people straight into the middle of a stand off between three motorcycle clubs.

How we long for a community, extended family, who would put everything on the line at the drop of a hat. For us.

CLOVER: How did I end up almost two hundred thousand dollars in debt? It wasn’t as hard as it sounds.

I went to Colombia and studied anthropology. The perfect background to get a great job. Right? Okay. It was a stupid choice. As it turns out, one of several. But I was still a teenager when I picked a major. I’ve since learned that brains aren’t fully developed until years later. A lot of good that information does me now. So I ended up answering phones at a third rate magazine. In New Jersey. When a duffel bag full of big bills showed up in my gym locker, I did what anybody with student loans would do. I paid them off.

It turns out that the money didn't come from my fairy godmother after all. Some goons stashed it in the wrong locker. For the mob. It probably won't surprise you to learn they want it back. So, again, I did what anybody would do. I ran. All the way to the Texas Hill Country. I mean, they wouldn't follow me there. Right? It's practically the Outback. Right?

RAZE: It was Bike Night at my place, which meant it was crowded. But when she came through the door, she stood out like a neon sign. I didn't care that she looked lost or that she had unbelievably suckable curves. And it didn't occur to me to worry when she looked back over her shoulder. Should have, but it didn't.

The fact was, I needed help. Marjorie called in with some lame excuse, which meant she was fired. Employees can't bail on Bike Night. It's a cardinal sin. I don't really know what that is 'cause I'm not Catholic, but it's bad. I said, "You got any experience slingin' drinks?" She shook her head. I gave up a disgusted sigh. "You good with people?" She gave me a cute little smirk that's probably served her well up to now and shrugged. I shook my head, knowing I'd be sorry, and handed her an apron.

She took it, looked at it like she didn't know what to do with it. After a second of two she raised those big blue eyes to mine and said, "I don't have a place to stay." I looked away so she wouldn't think she had me by the balls and let go with a stream of cuss words in my head.

"Do a good job and you can sleep in the studio in the back. For tonight," I said. She gave me a hug like she was grabbing onto a lifesaver and filled my nose with her rainy green apple feminine shampoo smell. 'Course I didn't show it, but that hug knocked me on my ass. She was just some woman coming off the road. I knew this. But there was something... I pushed her away. "Just for tonight." My voice was gruff, sounded harsh. Good. She needed to know my Roadhouse was no plushy crash pad.

Roadhouse was the fifth book in the Sons of Sanctuary MC by Victoria Danann. I loved this series and Roadhouse was no exception.

Raze Rouen was the gorgeous and brooding owner of Raze & Ruin Roadhouse, a local bar near Austin, TX. He was a friend to the MC having been born and raised around it. He was bitter from an ex-wife and was on the road to recovery; albeit his heart was locked up tight.

Clover Fields was in debt with student loans well beyond her years. She was in a dead end job and couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. And then one day a bag of money appeared in her locker and she paid off her debt. Unfortunately it was misplaced mob money and they wanted it back. She did what any self respecting woman would do, she ran.

The storyline opens with Clover on the run when she found herself at the Roadhouse. I enjoyed the storyline, the inclusion of the MC, the loyalty of brotherhood, the humorous undertones mixed in everywhere and the relationship development between Raze and Clover.

The Roadhouse was well written, well developed, suspenseful and enjoyable. It was predictable but entertaining none the less. It was a fairly quick read and perfect for my mood of the moment.

Through the storyline, Danann set the stage for a spinoff series with a neighboring MC, a friend to the Sons of Sanctuary, that looks to be just as intriguing, suspenseful and fun. We start with Batiste, the Cajun Devils MC President. Bring it on!

If you love music, bikers, excitement and romance you will LOVE Roadhouse. Victoria Danann has given us another fun filled, action packed book in the 5th book of the Sons of Sanctuary MC, Austin, Texas
Raze has been through a lot of heartache, seems to just not care what happens anymore. No direction or goals for a future. Clover is an intelligent, naive girl that makes a big mistake. So, she is running and hiding to save her life.
Will fate bring them together or will their past issues just be too much to let go of? Some new folks are introduced in this 5th book of the series including a dog name Bless! Love that dog.
A cool feature at the beginning of each chapter is a link to a song on YouTube. The song relates to what’s happening in the chapter. Just click on the highlighted title to be taken away to some great oldies.
I highly recommend this book. You will laugh, cry, wish for, hope for and wonder….is there really a ghost in that car. Don’t miss a great read. Thank You Victoria Danann for a wonderful story.

Take it as a sign that “Roadhouse” is worth your time. Its the fifth book in the “Sons of Sanctuary, MC” series by a Victoria Danann. It can be read as a stand alone but it’s well worth the effort to read the series in order.
What’s a girl to do when the answer to your money problems appears miraculously inside a duffle bag you find in your gym locker? You’re about to find out.
The book is a thoughtful study in how two very desperate people can find order out of chaos when fate conspires to bring them together.
It’s a funny, poignant and suspense filled story.
I’m really hooked on this series. To be honest MC books are usually not my first pick to read. I like how characters are developed and how with each book their world becomes complex, giving the characters a turn to shine with each new book in the series.

Clover wasn’t really a thief. But, when he finds $275,000 dollars in a duffle bag in her locked gym locker, she thinks that maybe it’s her lucky day! She uses the money to pay off the debt her school loans and ex left her with and is feeling pretty good about life . . . until the mob comes looking for the money they stashed in her locker and threaten to make her pay it back in one way or another. Clover decides to do the only thing she can . . . run.

Raze made a poor decision when he married young and joined the National Guard to make extra money to make his wife happy. While he was deployed, she cheated on him and his only family passed away before he could make it home. Now he’s left feeling sorry for himself and not quite sure what to do until an old friend helps bring him back to the land of the living with the gift of a dog and the opportunity to pursue his dream of owning an icehouse bar and grill. He’s living life, but not really enjoying it to the fullest . . . until a stray girl walks into his bar one bike night . . .

She looked lost and he needed a waitress. When he found out she had nowhere to go, he offered her a bed for the night. But, there’s something about her that just feels right and Raze isn’t ready to see her go just yet. And, while Clover feels like Raze could give her a reason to want to stay, she’s on the run and doesn’t want to bring that trouble to hs door.

With their undeniable attraction to each other and the easy way they just seem to fit, it’s up to Clover to come clean with Raze about who she really is and why she’s on the run and it’s up to Raze and the rest of the SSMC to see what they can do to keep her safe, because Raze has decided he’s not willing to let the stray girl who walked into his bar disappear without a fight.

Victoria Danann really knocked it out of the park with Roadhouse! She took two people who really have no reason to work as a couple and fit them together in a way that seemed fated to be. As always, the depth of character is astounding and the plot is well written, suspenseful and enjoyable. I love the depth of brotherhood that is always displayed in Victoria’s SSMC books and truly enjoy the banter between the MC brothers. I was also excited for the new characters introduced in this book and look forward to what’s coming next. 5 stars!

And We Have Another Winner !!!!

Roadhouse by the outstanding author Victoria Danann is set in the world of Sons of Sanctuary MC.

Meet Clover, she´s a young woman who made a bad decision and now she´s in serious danger. The easiest way to leave all her troubles behind is to hide and run. She goes on a trip and karma/ fate leads her on Raze´s doorstep.

Raze Rouen is ex-military, a man who had to fight for everything good in his life. He became a bitter loner. Now he´s back in his home town to start a new life and his childhood friend, Brash Fortnight - yes The Brash from Two Princes - is still there and eager to help Raze.
I started reading and let me tell you, I was immediatedly sucked into Clover and Raze´s story. I have a girlcrush on Raze and I call dibs on him. He´s mine, all mine.
The writing is excellent and the story is beautifully thought out and told. I connected with the characters from page one, I can´t get enough of them.
The story made me laugh, it made me cry and swoon.

And I love that every chapter is connected to a playlist. Tap on the title and it leads you to the video. I love, love , love this. Before redaing the chapter I listened to the song and was already " in the right mood ".

Roadhouse can easily be read as a standalone. I recommend to read the books in order. The prevoius books are Two Princes; The Bikers Brother; Nomad; and Devils Marker. And I really, really can´t wait for the next book; Cajun Devils, Batiste. I highly recommend Roadhouse and wish I could give more than 5 stars.

This series gets better with each book..
Clover finds a duffel bag full of money in her gym locker..And after getting screwed over by her ex-husband..He left her with lots of debt..Credit cards that he took out.. Student loans that she has and degrees that aren't helping her in the least bit..
Well the mob comes calling..They want their money back...But, she used it....
She goes on the run...Ends up in Texas. Stuck with a car that she can't start..But will start for everyone else that tries it.
.Where she meets Raze...Bar owner, and as she calls him..Mr Grumpy Face..
He turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to her..
Love this series soo much..Can't wait to see where Victoria takes this series next..

Another brilliant book from Victoria Dannan’s biker series. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a great plot line, likeable characters and all the usual adventure and romance expected from her stories. I loved the addition of the music YouTube links at the beginning of each chapter. They were always very apt, set the scene and were great songs. As usual 5 stars. I will be waiting in anticipation for the next release.

Roadhouse is full of surprises and an oh so swoon worthy hero. He is a man who has left love and any thought of love behind him. His love interest is a strong but scared woman on the run. When the two meet sparks start . This is a super sexy story with well thought out plot and enough excitement for the adventure lover. Danann delivers on every level. There is joy, tears, laughter and subtle humor that always marks a novel by Danann. And always, great characters that imbed themselves in your heart forever. Best of her SSMC books and VERY HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Exciting and Action Packed.

This book has lots of suspense and action. Loved the interplay between Raze and Clover. This is a sweet romance with sexy not steamy scenes. Truly a romance with a twist. Victoria never disappoints. Every time I read one of her books, I am blown away. The dance scene is brilliant! Near the end of this book, Raze tells Clover his real name. I barked out a very loud laugh, so loud, I woke my husband and step-daughter up. Get this great book and prepare to enjoy! From a Forever Fan... Pam James.

I'm liking this series even though it could be a bit more gritty and have some more smexiness. What sells it to me is Danann is a good writer (with good editing) with a good grasp of characters and dialogue. The MC is in the background of this one (there's really 3 MCs that appear in the book) but comes out in full force to help the H save the h. I liked how the storyline for this one was set in the Roadhouse that Raze owned - I thought at times Patrick Swayze would pop up. ;)

Virctoria Danaan has written another winner in the Sons of Sanctuary MC series. It can be read alone, but the reading the whole series just adds so much more to each story.

Haven't we all made a really bad choice--one that we knew was wrong even as we went ahead? What is worse is that one bad choice tends to lead to another one. Clover can't see a way out of her problems. Massive college debt, a terrible marriage, nothing jobs have turned her life in an endless struggle. When she finds a duffle bag of money in her locker, what's one more bad choice? There is enough money to get her out of debt and give her a new start in life. After all who would put a duffle bag with that much money in a locker? Only the nicest people, right? Of course not, and so she finds herself on the run from some very dangerous men.

Raze married the wrong woman and she really messed up his life. Two tours of duty had left him with bad memories and little joy. He had given up until a friend steps in. We all can make bad choices sometimes. What matters is what we do next. Perhaps what we do depends on the support system around us. That is what this series is about for me. A network of friends who truly care about each other. People willing to take risks to help a friend.

I think this might be my favourite in the series. I fell in love with Bless who is a wonderful dog with an amazing personality. This is a story that has romance, thrills, and the beauty of friendship. I highly recommend this book and everything Victorian Danann writes.

Okay, I have probably said this about one or more of the other books in this series but this might be the best so far. But that’s just me.

You could also say this one is pretty much like all the others in this series and on the face of it, you might be correct. But if you say it and mean it, you haven’t been paying attention. Yes, the “main” story line is very similar in the books of SSMC but they’re different too. But then I am prejudiced because Victoria Danann is one of my favorite authors and one of the best.

Now about the story – nothing happening here, I don’t do spoilers or recaps. Suffice it to say you have a “not ordinary” main character who got where he never planned to be, a “very not ordinary” lady star who never even heard of the place where she wound up, some light violence, some sex, a good story and a dog (who may secretly be the main character) and a whole lot of light surprises as you go along.

If this is your first foray into the SSMC series, do yourself a favor and go back to book 1 and start there. I’m not sure it is absolutely necessary but you’ll understand the whole scenario better if you do. Whether you do that or not, you’re in for a treat with Roadhouse!

PAGE TURNER . SPICY , HOT , SEXY , FUNNY & LOVING PAGE TURNER !

What a wonderful story . I love the main characters in this book . There back stories make them so very perfect 4 one another . Danann is full of juicy spicy sexy and funny stories . I was intrigued from word one . I don't know hoq she keeps making page turners but am greatful I found her books . That's for sure. Now I'm off 2 learn more about the Cajun Devils who were introduced in thus book . Love how as she goes with each story more characters are brought to light . I wanna learn more about them each time . As there made known to the reader you'll wanna know more if you like the book so far . At the same time she doesn't leave you hanging with the introduction . No cliffhanger if you know what I mean . She finishes the tale while realing you in to want 2 go on the next journey . I love this author . She keeps me hooked with each story w/o being repetative and giving each character's story it's own twist . Loved Raze & Clovers 🍀 story . True love's 💘 in the air in for the bikers 🏍 in Texas .

Raze suffered the abandonment of his mother, loss of his guardian uncle, and infidelity of his wife and consequent divorce. He is hardened but accepts the help of his friends at Sons of Sanctuary MC. Clover has an impressive degree that is not easily marketable but Sallie Mae still wants her cut. Clover inadvertently uses money that wasn’t hers, not knowing it belonged to the mob, and ends up running for her life. The used car she purchased breaks down on her and refuses to start outside a roadhouse owned by Raze. Their romance is sweet and humorous. It is not a one sided rescue mission though. Although Raze definitely assists the “stray girl” who wandered in soaking from the rain, Clover brings joy to him, which has been sorely missing. I loved this book and have always enjoyed the sense of community and brotherhood that Danann employs in her books.

Roadhouse SSMC 5

Love can break and love and heal. Raze and Clover’s is heartbreaking and the healing power of love. Through courage and misguided choices Clover sets out in her journey set by fate to met and fall for her true love mate. Bless is absolutely fantastic! I hope we get to read more stories with the SSMC and Rescue’s German Shepard’s. Another fabulous story in the SSMC world. So many sweet moments and moments of laughter and moments of heartbreak. Brash stands for his best friend Raze and is there for him in his time of need. He starts the healing process so he can be ready for stray girl to walk through his Roadhouse door, and the rest as they is history. Loved this story just like all of Victoria Danann’s works of art. Hope you enjoy reading is as much I did.

OMG! I absolutely loved this story. It had me totally hooked from the start, and I was heartbroken when I finished it.
I adored Clover, and to admit, I may have been tempted to do exactly the same as her (In more ways than one). She was sweet & sassy, but very intuitive.
I think Ruin may be my favourite SSMC Member, although it is getting harder, as they are all gorgeous, as he has the perfect balance of compassion & understanding with a mixture Biker magic.
Victoria Danann has done it again!!! This story is packed full of excitement and romance and with the usual SSMC humour thrown in for good measure.
All in All this is a fabulous read.

Roadhouse

Brashs childhood friend went to war with a wife and an uncle and came home to both gone and feeling like he had no reason to live. Brash barges in and takes control giving him a dog that becomes his best friend and a new purpose in life. Clover on the run after taking money that wasn't hers from the mob goes from New Jersey to Texas where she gets stuck with a car that will start for anyone but her. From the start it was destined for Raze and Clover to be together. With a nutcase bounty hunter on her tail there's some serious drama coming to a head. It was a great book less MC than usual until the end but still in that theme.

Both had pasts

Clover was minding her own business when she opened her locker only to discover a bag full of cash inside. After spending every penny, an unwanted guest appeared. He wanted the bag, and not only the bag but all of the money. Money she no longer had.
Raze tried to find himself with a bottle. He thought it was working until Brash plied him with coffee, a ride, and an opportunity.
The Sons of Sanctuary MC protect their own. Danann started with colorful characters and continued to bring it along for the ride. Hopefully there will be more books featuring SSMC members. Including their illustrious dog trainer, Rescue.

When Raze Rouen married a woman he loved, she divorced him while he served his country and married his friend. Home again, Raze buried his only living relative and started what he foresaw as a long drinking career. But friends don’t let friends crawl in a bottle and stay… so says the SSMC.

Bank receptionist Clover Fields’ history of bad choices has her making yet another one when she’s the unlucky one that receives a stash notorious thugs want badly. When the thugs threaten Clover, she goes on the run and finds her pitiful self depending on Raze’s charity. Luckily his new restaurant & bar desperately needs help.

I absolutely loved this book. I’m not normally a MC book reader but I enjoyed Victoria Danann’s other books so decided to give it a go and oh boy am I glad I did. This book is well written and grabs you and draws you in. It had me laughing at times. I didn’t find this book to be full of sex and violence which is what I have found with other MC books. I think Victoria Danann found just the right amount to keep you interested and for it not to overshadow the storyline.
Another great book by an amazing author.
I totally recommend it.

As someone else already said...I don't know how she continues to top the last book; but she does. Roadhouse is a fabulous read. Two very lost, confused souls are brought together by the fates. One car that may or may not have a few wires loose, and an awesome, fabulous dog named Bless. Ms. Danann's trademark of deep and complicated characters, humor, and details that draw you into the story so you feel like you're there not just reading are all present. And be sure to check out the special effect at the beginning of each chapter...you're gonna love it. Go forth and 1-click it already!

Just a really entertaining read!

Makes me wish I had a place like the Roadhouse to go on a weekend when you just want some good food, good people, and good drinks. This book reminds me there are always second chances. I also liked that Ms. Danann's books are animal friendly and an integral part of the family. Another plus is you can read this book as a standalone but you will want to go back and read the rest of the books. This book did what all books should do, take you away and forget about all the things you should be doing.

How many of us would love to be able to find a duffel full of money and spend it? I know I would. But I sure wouldn't want it to be the mob's money.....Clover finds the money and runs after paying off all of her loans from school. She ends up at Raze's roadhouse.

They slowly work toward a common goal and in between the beginning and end, the ups and downs of the relationship, along with the drama, laughing, so much happens in this book. But another great thing is the theme of family is not always blood.

Great Read

“Will you stop telling her that? We’re not havin’ seven German Shepherd dogs.” “Why not?” “’ Cause we need to save room and time for kids.” “We’re having kids?” “I thought we would.” “Raze. We’re not married.” “We’re promised. Same thing.” “No. It’s not.” “Is to me.” “Well, it’s not to me.” Raze barked out a laugh. “Swore I’d never get married again.” “Yes, well, me, too. But you’re not him!” He shook his head smiling, eyes lit with amusement. “That’s a fact.” Clover narrowed her eyes. “And I’m not her!”- except

Another great story

I absolutely love escaping into Victoria's worlds. This story is no different. I get completely caught up with the characters. Raze is very complex, and wants to be happy, but his life situations have brought him down. Clover's innocent demeanor paired with her bad luck is a recipe for a great story when they get together. Job well done! I find myself wanting to know about each one of these characters. I am especially interested in a story about Resue! Please tell me he gets his own story.

Hot, muscular build, fast motorcycles, and sexy as sin bad boys....jsut what you have come to expect from Victoria Danann. Roadhouse, book 5 in the SSMC series, is the story of Ruin. How he overcomes some horrible events that have recently happened and turned him against ever finding love. How his best friend gives him the proverbial kick in the ass, and what happens a few years later when a young woman, running from mobsters, shows up in the roadhouse that ruin has created and runs. The heat that emanates from both of them is enough to almost scorch the pages.

Exceptional series!!!!!!

This was such time well spent, knock your socks off entertainment, and all the exciting bases covered, in non stop, hot, steamy, fabulously written, highly imaginative , creative perfection. I loved this series, from start to magnificent ending. I totally recommend this series. It was a non stop 3 days of reading, couldn't flip the pages far enough. These would be such remarkable mini series of a movie. Great detail, I was lost in the biker world, and completely and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. So so good.

The final story is awesome

Clover found a large sack of cash in her locker, $325K, which happened to be the amount she owed in student at and credit card debt her ex wracked up without her knowing. Books like those by this author are why I like Kindle unlimited

I read about 20 books a week so I try a lot of authors using Kindle unlimited. Half of them I don't finish because I don't like them. Most of the rest I finish the book but don't look for more by that author. I get lucky ever once in awhile with a new author that is a great find. Victoria Danann is one of those finds. Not only that, she is also prolific. This is the fifth book in the series and I have enjoyed them all. I plan on trying out her other series.
