16-year-old Mochizuki Touya has it all. Grand Duke of an upstart nation, inventor of goods ranging from hula hoop to caramelized popcorn, administrator of Babylon, and pilot of the Anti-Phrase Frame Gears. The western nations love him... but darker machinations unfurl in the far east. Yulong, the glorious Empire of Heaven, regards Touya with envious eyes, brazen enough to send assassins into Brunhild! To make matters worse, the mysterious young girl known as Sakura seems to have a connection with these dark assailants. In the background, dark forces gather. Something big approaches. Something far greater than anything Touya has ever faced before. Brace yourself... for a tale of swords, sorcery, and absolute calamity.

Touya's fortuitous life continuous relatively unopposed in the next volume of this series. The frame knights are tested for the first time in a mass battle. He acquires his 7th fiancé, expanding his alliance in the process and deals with tribal matters of the Sea of Trees. And a few members of his divine family come to the mortal world, supposedly on some serious business, but having some fun is certainly another goal as well.

Much like previous volumes it is an entertaining light-hearted story, nothing too serious or tense with likeable if somewhat shallow characters and a rather straight forward standard world. There are a few eyeroll moments when Touya supposedly gets angry over silly little things, getting a bit petty about it at that. In itself that would not be bad, giving the MC a bit more personality, but it is a bit inconsistent, even though it on occasion happened in earlier volumes as well.

So, an entertaining read, easy to digest, but a bit simple and predictable which should not come as a surprise after six earlier volumes.

The Yulong Kingdom attempts to assassinate Touya and claim his Frame Gears as their own. A gigantic Phrase demolishes Yulong. The Goddess of Love comes down from her heavenly domain and pokes her nose into Touya's love life. She passes herself off as his older sister, Karen. Along the way, we get two more possible wives. One is certain, Hildegard, the princess of Lestia the Knight Country. The other probable candidate is the Daughter of the Clan Leader from the Rauli Tribe, Pam.

The group helps out the Rauli Tribe in a festival called The Pruning. We meet the Goddess of Swords, a battle maniac who introduces herself as another of Touya's relatives.

We meet the only other Gold Card Adventurer in the world, a lecherous old man and the former king of Lestia. He reminds me of those other super-powerful lechers in anime.

I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.

As always entertaining but...

Currently in the kindle version there a are two images swapped and two others missing so I have to go online just to see then somewhere else, but well I'm sure they will fix this issue later, and there is also the possibility that those missing images were caused by a downloading error. That's the only reason I gave this just four stars as it was just a bit of an annoyance but nothing else, so if you had enjoyed the story so far you will be perfectly fine with this book.

Knowing that I’ve watched the series numerous times, I like to compare the similarities to the scenes from the illustration. What I enjoy the most is that the novels add more details. For example the introduction to the tribes in the sea of trees was great, I enjoyed reading more about that part of the story. I was even excited to figure out why Karen had descended down to the planet and that she use the excuse of being the main character’s sister is amazing. They even show that sibling Energy through the story.

How the author keeps knocking them out of the park, I will never know.

This is yet another fine addition to the series. Popcorn and hula-hoops for all!

The story is starting to get even more intense. Yulong is asking for a butt-kicking and our hero is just the one to deliver it. Let the fun begin!

Still Great

Awesome book. 2 of the illustrations are backwards so if you are reading and see an illustration that seems out of placed it is swapped with the next one. This volume has a great phrase battle and brings on another love. Loved it.

This series is always enjoyable to to read. The overall plot isn't that enthralling or anything but it's overall really funny from front to back

I love how much Touya’s fiancés love him. I can’t help to wonder how many more gods will come to see Touya? My theory is that they will show up to train his fiancés to get stronger.

Classic tropes used

The story started using classic scenarios, such as an invitation and a tournament, but overall it was still an enjoyable read, with some of its usual comical charm. I'm curious to see what happens next, and if they will truly stop the phrase once and for all.
