Called by the Vampire - Part 1 - V. Vaughn
This seems a lot different than what I am used to for Ms. Violet. Then bears and vampires are a lot different so of of course this is different. I just love how sucks you right in. This is definitely something you will want to read about.
Margaret Evans aka:Maggie is human who had a heart transplant. Receiving somebody's heart, was one thing but with that person's emotion is very hard to understand. She knew her time was short with a transplant, so she wanted to make the most of it so she decided to get a job on coast of Maine. She was hired as a personal secretary to a man who she knew nothing about except his name. When she got there she was amazed the place was huge, plus both brothers are very attractive her heart wants one brother while Maggie wants the other, what was she going to do? Would she be able to stay there with her emotions in such a turmoil?
Sebastian and Alexander Hart are brothers plus they are Vampires who in a sense are opposite of each other one is playful and fun, happy where the other and joyful with one is sober and straitlaced. They had something planned but what was it?

Can this lady write or what? The story itself is very well-written this was a fantastic, put together Ms. Tasha's characters that are always matched together beautifully. Best of all too we go back to Tarker’s Hollow. Yep, everything is magnificent, no matter what the season is at Tarker’s Hollow.
Adia Booth who doesn't date, she was a twenty-six years old virgin, with a special power. All she ever does is work at a Real Estate Office and read books. She dreams about the lover that will come for her one day just like in the books she reads that are HEA. One of the houses that she showed is Ogden Manor, which needs major repair. It's supposed to be haunted but when she was their with a client it wasn't haunted or was it? Leaving her phone at the house she had to go back in the dark, that's when things started to happen that she could not explain.
William Ogden has been missing for centuries, you see William is a Vampire. He lost everything that night he was turned everything that he cherished, everything that he loved and now he was back at this Manor that's falling to pieces, with the hope that he'll die with it. Than one day when he couldn't move he smelt the most intoxicating sent.

Maggie has a new heart. She's spent her life on the inside looking out at everyone else living. Then the transplant. However, her new heart is more. It carries a bit of the soul of the donor. Now, Maggie can live her life. After completing community college, she is offered a job hours away from home. A well paying but mysterious job. Live in secretary with an NDR. She soon finds out with the Hart brothers, there is much not to disclose. The dark, foreboding mansion is right on the ocean. The men are different but both hot and she is drawn to each in different ways. What has she gotten herself into? Margaret and her (more) heart are touched by Sebastion but the old Maggie is drawn by the less serious Alexander. What is she to do? Another captivating story and I can't wait to read more.
Tasha Black's Nobodys Home has returned us the Tarker's Hollow for another tale of romance, immortality, danger and of course, steam.. Adia was a real estate agent. The couple she was showing seemed more interested in necking than finding a house. Why she brought them to the ancient mansion had no answer. Still, while they went further than Adia could deal with she wandered around. She'd been warned it was haunted. She felt...what did she feel? Then visions started and the picture of a man she would later learn was William. What did the man in the picture have to do with the house? An owner? Why did he seem to draw her in? Read this vampy romance to find all the details. Is she in danger or do her feelings mean something else entirely?
Ms. Black has returned us the Tarker's Hollow for another tale of romance, immortality, danger and of course, steam. Enjoy this Enjoy.A perfect short story to curl up with, add coffee, tea, or maybe something a little stronger and enjoy.

When Cyrus thinks that the mystery woman is in danger, his coven performs a spell to bring her to him. Hospice nurse and vampire Kassandra Darkmorré is told by a dying patient “What you desire most is achievable. You must accept the invitation ...” When Kassy gets an invite to a Halloween ball, she accepts. Kassy goes to Salem to find a witch with a spell to make her human but then she meets the handsome vampire Xavier Drago who tells her “I had just hoped you would want to stay as you are. Stay with me.” But Kassy is just as attracted to the gorgeous Cyrus but he's keeping secrets from her. So where does that leave Kassy? And why are people dying around Kassy? I have to first say I am not a bog fan of vamps. Never have been that is until I read this set of stories. I mean CE Black continues to write books that take me out of my normal genre as I follow her around but it is ALWAYS an adventure. In this case not only was her story a wonderful treat. I mean the way she brought together to people who . . . well you'll just have to read it because it is awesome sauce. Paired with this other writers you are in for a great time and yes I read them all.
From the heart that calls out for it's old mate after it has been transplanted into someone else by V. Vaughn that only gets more complicated when the receiver of the heart finds her soul mate, to the search for a best friend that leads to betrayal and love by Deanna Chase. And let's not forget the time traveling that goes down when the heart wins out in this gripping love story by Tasha Black. And the last book in the set about a teen age match maker, vamps, and a ghost cow. That's right compliments of Michelle Bardsley.
All in All great stories and a wonderful way to spend a couple of days basking in crazy vamps, mayhem, and laughter.

Holy hot Vampires! Since I've read these authors before and I absolutely loved "Nobody's Home" by Tasha Black, I know all the other stories in this bundle have to be awesome, too :D [I LOVE sets with short reads & that's how I find my new favorite authors & series :D Plus, for 99 pennies no-one should complain!] I loved the different storyline, smoldering hot & sexy scenes, great attention to detail & awesome characters, that I was glued to my seat not wanting to stop! *Warning* Must wear gloves though ;) ... Even tho I volunteered to read these stories, this is my honest opinion without any outside influences. So I do recommend this to all Adult 18+ fans of fiction, especially those who love paranormal and fantasy! I'll update this later on when I'm finished, but on to V. Vaughn's, "Called By The Vampire" next :D

This is a tarker's hollow tale
Adia is a real estate agent with special gifts of seeing the past. When she forgets her home at a home she was showing she hates to go back since it's dark BUT she needs that phone. When she goes back she in that old house she runs right into a vampire of her dreams
She is one just when he was willing to give up. He is her everything.
There is magic and time travel in tho one and really it's a great story. If your into werewolves, vampires and magic this one has it all.

There were a lot of new to me authors in this collection. I bought the anthology a long time ago and just got around to reading it this past summer. My favorite stories were Bite of Betrayal by Deanna Chase and Nobody's Home by Tasha Black. I do not believe that the collection is still available, but like most anthologies, it allowed me to check out authors I wouldn't have normally picked up. For that I'm grateful.

Really great collection of vampire stories! I particularly loved Tasha Black's Nobody's Home. Love all of her books!!! Every story was a 5 star! This is worth every penny! I would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys vampire stories!

One hell of an intriguing and gripping tale that left me sad and happy. A strange sensation.
Started off with me wanting to slap Kassandra upside the head for her thinking and attitude.
Was not sure of the ending and though I loved it I felt there was not a real definition of who the real hero was. Cyrus and Xavier were both wonderful to me but I felt we did not get enough time with Xavier to truly make a decision.

Every time I read something from this author in a box set, I resolve to get her books and somehow don’t do it. I plan to do so.
A good refreshing read with some darkness.

Part of a series I have on my TBR (to be read) list. A fun, quirky and enjoyably silly story but it really needed proof reading, some very simple spelling and tense mistakes.
Liked the characters and the plotline.
I was gifted this box set from CE Black for an honest review.
