Went out of my comfort zone for this one and did not regret it! Some authors really have cool, unique ideas for stories and then write them well!

The whole idea of Cassie and her brother knowing her secret and him trying to help her is such a cute idea to me. I love that brother/sister bond.

The reasons I gave it 3 stars was because I did go out of my comfort zone and it was just okay. It was good but not memorable for me.

I wanted a quick story to read, or rather listen to, while I worked on school assignments. This story was good, but the plot definitely felt rushed.

Definitely middle school level despite 16yo protagonist. Read like she was 11-12. Hmmm. 2.5 stars. Didn't hate it but wouldn't recommend it to anyone over 10.

I read this book with my daughters and it was okay, although my girls (who are more around the book's audience) seemed to enjoy it a bit more than me - so this is why it gets an extra star.

Superhuman: Take to the Skies is about a girl called Cassie who finds herself with the power to fly. With her younger brother's help, she manages to control her powers and then uses her power of flight to do good in the world.

What I didn't like with this book was that it was too straightforward. The only real complication in the book comes in the form of a school assignment, which is cleared up fairly easily.

I like my books with a few more twists and turns, even if it is for the younger audience.

Cassie wakes up on her 16th birthday and finds she is floating above her bed. With the help of her little brother she learns to control her new found flying power. Yep she turns out to be a “Super Hero”.

Cute story and reminds me of my youth and how I wanted to be “Wonder Girl!” I also wanted to be a great singer. Well I am not a great or even a good singer but not too bad at dancing. So my super power is my love of dance. Actually I have a theory on singing and dancing ~ that is only a few can do both most of us it is one or the other!!

The entire book took 30 minutes to listen to. The premise was good but elements were missing that could have made the story better. I’m not a book critic so I won’t even attempt that.

Lacking the detail and the description that transport the reader into the book.
It is like the author started out to write a book with only the extreme minimum.

Good but so short. The age of the characters seemed too old for the writing, and once the story got exciting it skimmed all the action and ended.

Quite an average short story, with some unconvincing dialogue. All in all, it was fine.
