Rate this book
When you’re a shifter you know two things for certain. One, you’ll change into a wolf. And two, you’ll find your true mate. Though he knows these things, Killian O’Brian has given up hope on the second thing happening for him. So, when his niece predicts his time has come he’s in complete disbelief.

Reeve Quinn has always had to hide her true self. So, when she gets offered a position in a small town run by wolf-shifters she thinks she’s found the perfect chance to stop hiding and just be her. Little does she know she’ll find a whole lot more than acceptance.

Can Killian handle Reeve’s true self?

Can Reeve handle being mated to a wolf?

Or will they both be consumed by the ominous threat looming over the pack?

I really liked this story between Killian and Reeve. They have both suffered heartache and difficulties. Killian is lonely and broken something only his other half can fix. Reeeve's special gift is something she has always hidden. But she believes this move will make it easier for her to practice in public. Killian instantly knows Reeve is his mate. Now he has to convince her to except him. Reeve has two secrets that are keeping her to give into Killian completely and there is someone targeting the pack. They will need to get past their insecurities and find out what the threat is to the pack in order to be officially mate.

This book was very enjoyable. Both the main and supporting characters were enjoyable and there were definitely laugh out loud moments. I cant wait to read the rest of the series.

A fast, sweet, magic filled, shifter romance! Killian’s Solace was a Perfect book to spend a lazy weekend afternoon with. This low angst, sweet romance had me thoroughly engrossed as the pages flew by. Killian was the exact kind of mate I always love to read. Completely head over heels for his mate. Loving, sweet, and protective he was the definition of book boyfriend perfection.

Reeve was kindhearted sweetness all wrapped up with just a bit of mystery. She was perfectly matched to her gentleman of a mate. Together Killian and Reeve were an adorable couple that I loved reading!
