Daniel Page is a hitman in New York City. When a kill goes wrong and his boss finds out he's a tiger shifter, Daniel is commanded to turn his fellow hitmen into tigers. He refuses. Unfortunately for Daniel, his estranged daughter Meredith carries the gene as well, and the men he works for know how to find her. But Meredith has a guardian of her own...a lion shifter by the name of Catherine, a woman who makes Daniel burn. It’s an all-or-nothing gambit; gain a family, or lose everything in one fell swoop. Daniel doesn’t intend to lose.
Tiger’s Eye is an intense, action filled Shifter Romance in the new BAD Alpha Dads romance line. If you love Shifter Romance, then you’ll want to check out this new romance line devoted to our shifter couples.
Daniel was viciously bitten and forcefully turned against his will. He has no idea what a true Shifter is and believes himself a dangerous monster – especially after an accident kills his wife. He puts his infant daughter into the hands of his parents and leaves wanting her to believe that both her parents are dead, for his greatest fear is harming his precious daughter as well. Years pass, Daniel gets himself a rather dubious new profession – and when he cannot deliver what his boss wants… life gets extremely complicated.
I enjoyed Tiger’s Eyes, as it’s the first story by Kenna McClare I’ve read and I will keep an eye out for more in the future. Daniel, Catherine and Meredith are all well drawn characters, believable and quite easy to care about. The villains in this one are nasty, immoral pieces of crap who truly get what they deserve… eventually. The romance is lighter, there is definitely more action, but Catherine knows that Daniel is her mate – Daniel has no clue what a mate is, he has so much to learn. And Catherine’s the right woman to teach him.
I had fun with this one and would recommend it to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader.

New York City hitman Daniel Page has a hit go wrong and suddenly his boss realises he is actually a Tiger Shifter. What comes next is a nightmare - he is subdued and ordered to turn the other hitmen into Tigers - something he refuses to do. Unfortunately they discover he has a hidden daughter called Meredith and are determined to use her against him to make him change the others. However she has a guardian - a lion shifter called Catherine who makes him burn with need. All of a sudden he faces a choice - gamble everything and gain a family or lose everything.
What a charming story. I so felt for Daniel and could feel his pain and confusion with everything that had happened for him in the past. His interaction with his daughter and her guardian were pleasant and easy to understand and relate to. It was a nice touch that he had never learnt about shifters due to the way he became one and I felt that could have been expanded a little more in the story. It was clear and easy to understand I just felt it could have had more detail and content.
This story is short, fast paced and action packed. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I liked the storyline, characters and writing style. I liked that even though Daniel was a hit man, he wasn’t willing to do what his boss wanted. He stayed out of his daughter’s life in order to protect her. I liked Catherine. I liked the bond she had with Meredith and how protective she was of her. I did see some chemistry between Catherine and Daniel but I would have liked a little more. Because this story is action packed, the love between them took a back seat. That being said, I loved Meredith’s reaction to her father and Catherine dating. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an action packed read.
I don't think I've read anything by this author before. The reason I did pick it up was because it was part of the Bad Alpha Dad group of books. I am glad that I did because this was an enjoyable quick read about a father named Daniel, who was turned into a tiger against his will and gave up his daughter to protect her. Eighteen years later trouble comes when the people he works for as an assassin wants him to change them to tigers too. They will do anything to accomplish that. Including finding his daughter Meredith and her "Big Sister" Catherine.
Everyone of these books takes you on another bad dad adventure and they just keep getting better. I loved the way this book turned out because i couldnt help but relate to the big sister, because i had one of those that i was close to.
This story left you on pins and needles wondering what was going to happen. Not sure what my reaction would be knowing my father was a killer, you will have to read to discover what the daughter feels in this one.
Another perfect live story that keeps ypu guessing on whether or not we will have the ending we all hope for.
Cute story about a man changed into a were tiger years ago. After an accident to his wife, he leaves his daughter with his parents to be raised. Almost eighteen years later his boss finds out what he is and wants him to change him. Stopping at nothing to get what he wants, including kidnapping. Have a love story mixed in. Well written self-contained story that's very entertaining to read.
Bad dad, Daniel is a hitman and bitten white tiger. His daughter thinks he's dead and has bonded with her Big Sister Catherine. Fate says it's time for this family to be reunited and throws a wrench into Daniel's life. It's a second chance story for Daniel & his daughter and a fated mate story for Daniel & Cateherine. The storyline works and keeps you interested from cover to cover.
Writing is good, the male majn character just didn't do it for me. There's nothing really heroic in someone who kills anyone he's paid to kill just for the money. With a better class of main character thus could have been a 4 star read.
Very interesting and enjoyable tale with a good plot. Loved the characters but I dislike hitmen as heroes. There is nothing good about murder for money no matter the circumstances.
