Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Thornton and Mr. & Mrs. Devlin Cutter Request you save the date for the wedding of Lucy Daniels Thornton to Harris Cutter March 26th
Planning a wedding should have been easy, especially with Aunt Emmie and Harris’s stepmom, Natalie, to help. Those two could rule the world from their phones, so I thought letting them help plan our wedding would make everything effortless.
I was wrong.
I wanted a small and intimate ceremony, but they wanted it to be huge, something that would overshadow every other celebrity wedding that had come before it. Because I felt like I owed it to my mom, I agreed, but now things were spiraling out of control. Details like the cake, the first song at the reception, and even picking a dress—gods, the dress—were all things that gave me a panic attack.
Terri Anne Browning is a USA TODAY bestselling author. Being dyslexic, she never thought a career in writing would be possible, yet she has been on bestselling lists multiple times since 2013. Reese: A Safe Haven Novella was her first Indie published book. The Rocker Who Holds Me changed the tables and kicked off The Rocker... series featuring the sinfully delicious members of Demon's Wings. The Rocker... Series is now complete with 12 books and the occasional novella. Other books by Terri Anne include the Angel's Halo MC Series, as well as The Lucy & Harris Novella Series, The Vitucci Mafiosos Series, and The Tainted Knights Rocker Series.
Terri Anne lives in Virginia with her husband, their three demons---err, children--and a hyper Frenchie named Grunt.
I am such a massive fan of Terri Anne Browning's books. You have all the Demon's Wings families, OtherWorld families, Tainted Knights characters all wrapped up in this book nobody is forgotten because they are like one massive family.
Lucy & Harris have been destined to be together since they first met as a young girl and teenage boy. Their journey to this book took a few wrong roads but life isn't always easy and when your parents are from world famous bands that can add to the pressure. Now Lucy & Harris have set the date, the mothers are excited (a little too excited), Devlin is proud of them both and Jesse well he's just Jesse, say no more. Life should be easy it's a wedding, get there say "I Do", kiss each other and live HEA, but the women in their lives have other plans, Big Plans causing extra stress nobody needs.
Will Lucy & Harris get their idea of a dream wedding and an HEA?
Now I need to back track and read Tainted Kiss and Tainted Butterfly. I feel like I missed loads with Kale & Santana and Gray & Kassa, and what the heck is Jace hiding from Kin? Time to find out
Forever Lucy was the fifth and final book in the Lucy and Harris series by Terri Anne Browning. The series should be read in order.
It was a great follow up to the couple as well as a pretty realistic perspective when wedding planning can get out of control. But through it all, I loved Harris and his protective ways as well as the relationship between Lucy and her father (Jesse, book two from the original series, The Rocker). I also loved how all of the secondary characters - from the many original and spin off series - were front and center. It was hard to follow the characters at times since it had been a while; however, I loved seeing and hearing from them all.
Additionally, I have not yet tackled the Tainted Knight series and it was a great segue into it. This book appears to align somewhere in the middle of that series but should be easy and fun to pick it up. All in all, Forever Lucy was a fun and entertaining read.
This book is book five in the Lucy and Harris novella series. I like this series but this book is my favourite of the series so far. My heart ached for Lucy. I understood why she didn’t speak up but I wanted to shout at her to make a stand. I like Emmie, Nat and Layla but in this story I disliked them. I hated how they took over Lucy’s wedding plans. I know that they just wanted to help but they were acting selfish. The chemistry between Harris and Lucy is undeniable. I really like them as a couple. That being said, I really wanted to shout at Harris to open his eyes and see how Lucy was struggling. When Lana finally saw how Lucy was struggling, I liked that she and Jenna put Layla, Nat and Emmie in their place. They made it known that they were hurting Lucy. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this book. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
I was happy to hear, that there's more coming from Lucy and Harris. And this story was great. If course, I wanted to slap some sense into three women and theirs planing the wedding, but I was glad everything cleared at the end. Well, cleared for Lucy and Harris at least, because there for sure at least one more book should come in this series. There was some disturbing things going on that just killed me. Well, more specific that I need to wait to find out everything that is killing me. Lol. But seriously, WTF is going on?
PS I want Blonde Bombshells stories. It's a band playing in Harris club, if anyone wonders about whom I'm talking about. I was curious about those girls before in previous books, but in this book there was this scene, that made me so freakn pumped to hear theirs journey. Oh, please, please, please, Terri.
So glad to be finished with this series. These books are not bad, but I honestly don't understand the lovefest of them. The stories are just recycled for more books. The Kin/Jace fiasco is ridiculous that now there is another book Tainted to get resolution for their story (that overlaps this one) Notice neither of them made it to the epilogue. well that's so you can purchase another book. Done with the series and the author...stick a fork in me!!
It's gotten to the point where if I don't get a Demon's Wings fix every few months, I'm a bit lost. This series and it's predecessor are my guilty pleasure. Just when I think I have read the best one yet, Terri Anne Browning goes and writes yet another gem. Forever Lucy gave me all the feels I have come to expect with these books and I couldn't be more thrilled.
What is now the last book starring Lucy Thornton and Harris Cutter, the send-off for these two lovebirds was simply wonderful. Now engaged, Lucy and Harris have to deal with all the good-natured meddling Emmie and the Moms (Nat and Layla) want to thrust upon them. I felt for Lucy, feeling like everything was out of control as she planned her nuptials to Harris. Her past came to the forefront more than once and it was handled beautifully. I love that Drake is still the man she can turn to since their issues both left them a bit broken. And the brittle ties she has with Layla had me in tears as they had to walk on eggshells with one another after Lucy's secret was revealed in a prior book. It was definitely a bit heartbreaking.
I think what I adore most about this book and all the books before it, is the unconditional love this large group of characters have for one another. They support each other no matter what, dealing with delicate issues in only ways they can. And that can mean a ton of yelling, hurt feelings and disappointment clear in one's eyes. But that never stops the love that is felt on each and every page. Lucy and Harris have a cocoon of love surrounding them and knowing that they would find a way to make everyone happy just shows how grateful and blessed they are to have the guidance they do.
I also chuckled more than once at Jesse and his fierce protective nature over Lucy. They have such a great relationship and that big bear of a man is never afraid to show just how much his daughter means to him. I was also shocked that Emmie got a bit of a dressing down when it came to the planning of Lucy's wedding. I think that may be the first time that superwoman was brought down a peg or two. I adore her and the miracles she can make happen never cease to amaze me.
This book is a must read for me. This entire series is a must read for me. And it should be for you too. Forever Lucy is the perfect conclusion to the Lucy and Harris series and I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next. Surely Kin and Jace have more to say...
I freaking flove this series and all the amazing characters. I really nope this isn't the last. You get so wrapped up in these characters, world, words, circumstances, feelings, emotions and you feel like you are there and experiencing it right a long with the characters. That to me is saying that Terri has definitely written a brilliantly done series. I am not going to give anything away but know you will NOT be disappointed. Keep them coming please!! FLOVED IT!! Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
Wonderful way to bring Lucy and Harris’ romance together. The mother/daughter issues between Layla and Lucy brought me to tears. Lucy’s relationship with Jesse her dad gives you all the feels. The best part is the absolutely unconditional love that two best friends turned lovers share. Lucy and Harris were made for each other. I especially love the epilogue which sets up future drama for the demons offspring. Great read one of my favorite authors.
This book is a satisfying end to this series even though I wish that this book would have had more from Harris's pov. I really enjoyed reading more about Lucy and Harris. Now that Harris has popped the question, Lucy has to start planning her dream wedding. The only problem now is that both Natalie and Layla are turning it into their dream wedding. When things get to be too much for Lucy, Harris steps in to take her away from everything. They start making their own decisions about what they want for themselves and that is when things start to fall into place for them. I really liked the ending of the book because I felt like it tied up their story nicely.
Awesome finale to Lucy and Harris love story, enjoyed catching up with every family member. Drama, romance, heartache, happiness, wedding jitters, fun, wraps this story up. I hope there’s a follow up story for Jace and Kin.
Anticipating this book was an overwhelming experience. As a reader I have been following Terri Anne Browning's work since her 2nd book she ever put out. When she gave the glimpse of a spin off series with the rocker babies as adults I was ecstatic! Terri broke this one up into several books and after each book I was emotionally broken and I didn't think my heart would ever be fully fixed when it came to Harrison and Lucy's story. I think it has affected me then any other books because she wrote there love story way before they were grown and we saw them fall in love as kids.
Harris is grew to be an AMAZING man and his love for Lucy never went away, he just had to put a pause on it because she was younger then he was. He went on to break her heart with out even trying, and in book 4 he finally did what he always wanted to do and that was to purpose to Lucy it was so heart warming!
Lucy she loved Harrison since before she can even actually remember and when he broke her heart she broke into a million pieces, I honestly didn't think she would ever come back from the darkness she put herself in. Her story was one of heart break and despair and the only one who could save her was Harrison.
Book 5 the ever so HAPPY ENDING that Terri kept teasing us with for what seems like years was an emotional mess with ugly crying as well as happy tears. Forever Lucy showed the love Harrison and Lucy have for one another was stronger then ever before and that they were always meant to be. Before we get the Happy Ending we have to go thru heck and back with wedding planning! Wedding planning with all the moms and aunts and what they think Lucy should have but not understanding what she wants.
Lucy is not like other celebrity kids she is closed off and very quite, she dosent like publicity and wants her wedding simple and intimate to say her vows to Harrison to be like its just them in the room. She dosent want to run off to Vegas because she, as we all know is a ultimate daddy girl and she needs her dad Jesse to walk her down the aisle and "give" her away. However the wedding planning with her family because overwhelming and she begins to loose control. With her past its not the best situation.
Harrison wants nothing, but Lucy to be happy and he backs away and lets the moms and aunts do there thing and thinks no harm. Throughout it tho he shows his love for and you see exactly why they are soulmates. With every single kiss I got butterflies. Terri gave amazing Chemistry between the two.
I was overwhelmed with this book it was so perfect after waiting forever, however there is a storm brewing between Jace and Kin the two best friends and I am demanding to know what it is, Terri you better not keep me waiting to long!!
I am so thrilled with how this spinoff series turned out! I loved reading about Lucy and Harris from when they were little! Terri Anne is my absolute favorite author and she does such great work with keeping different small story lines going throughout all of her books! I love how sweet Lucy is and how much love everybody has for her! Harris is a hotty who loves Lucy so much! I loved how Lucy and Harris’s wedding was anything but easy! It gave the story a different twist and not so predictable. I was so happy with the the ending of this series but so many questions about the other story lines from the spinoff! I can’t wait to read those!
Now with that being said I want to state again that Terri Anne Browning is my favorite author. I have grown to love all of her characters from all of her books so much. Layla and Jesse has been my favorite couple from the get go. Most importantly (TO ME) Layla is my absolute favorite! I know everybody is all about Em and I love her so much she’s a bad ass but Layla has had my heart always. I was not thrilled with the way Layla’S story has gone and with this book I found myself sad for her. I get it, she reacted HORRIBLY when she found out about Lucy. But I think Layla has been mistreated too. I don’t feel any love from Jesse to Layla anymore. I get loving and protecting your children even from the other parent if need be but it seems like Jesse hates Layla lol. Idk all the guys are so lovey about there chicks but I don’t get that from Jesse so I’m hoping we read more loving moments with Layla involved. Lucy’s favoritism towards Jesse really pisses me off sometimes. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES AND I WANT TO MAKE THAT CLEAR. I’m just sticking up for my girl Layla because she is my chick!
Thanks for this series and I look forward to reading all the other demons kids books! And any other book Terri Anne writes! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I remember how much I loved The Rocker Series. I loved all the characters and I felt like I'm a part of their big family. But I read that series few years back and I wish I read this book sooner. I'm a little bit lost in who is who in this book. I don't really remember what their stories. I'm a little bit confused but too lazy to re-read the previous books. So maybe that's why I didn't enjoy this book as much as I should have.
From what I remember, Lucy was a strong girl back when she was just a little girl in The Rocker Series. But in this spin-off I feel like Lucy is more like a weak, cry baby, fucked up teenager. Too many dramas happen to herself which makes me pretty disappointed with this book.
There are too many problems going on in a such short story. This book actually just want to tell about Lucy and Harris' wedding with all the troublesome preparations, but why the hell her best friend's problems also showing up? It makes me even more confused about what actually this story is about.
This book is not that long actually, but I finished this in more than 2 days because I find this book a little bit boring due to the lack of memories about the characters. I really should've read this as soon as this book was released 😩
We’ve waited patiently (or not 😁) for the finale of Lucy and Harris’s story and I for one could not be happier. So glad to see Lucy finally own her emotions and say what needed to be said. Heart melting to see Harris take over and be there for Lucy like he has been since they were little. Love their HEA and couldn’t ask for more.....except to know what is going on with Jace and Kin? 😊
I have loved the Harris and Lucy series. It pretty much went as I pictured it would. But, I'm concerned about Kin and Jace. Really left us hanging on that one. And this was shipped to be the last in the series. Please tell me this isn't the end. I have loved all the Demon Wing series. Really would like updates on all the kids. And the bands.
This was the absolute perfect conclusion to Lucy and Harris’s love story. I melted it over every bit of the story. I loved that it was true to them and that nothing was easy and that they still had to fight for that happily ever after, but in the same breath I absolutely loved getting to see them finally get there. It made every bit of struggle and fight worth it to experience that with them. Their story wasn’t easy, but it show the true tenacity of their love and their feelings for one another.
If you are a fan of this series and of these characters, then you’ll love how this author brings it all to a close. Terri Anne Browning continues to be one of my favorite authors for a reason. Her books are always so easy to think right into, they always give me the feels and such a memorable moment with her characters, and being in the world that she creates is truly the best. I could not have asked for more from the story and this entire series. This author connected me so deeply with these characters. She showed me them at their best and at the very worst and everything in between and that is just part of what made it such an incredible book to experience.
I have loved Lucy and Harris since I met them many years ago in The Rocker Series. I’ve seen them grow up. I’ve seen them struggle. I’ve seen them fight their feelings and embrace them with all that they have. I have seen them at the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, and I have seen the two of them do whatever they could to try amp over the adversity that came their way. I absolutely loved being a part of their story and seeing that evolution from beginning to end. What I got with them through every part of that journey was nothing short of spectacular, and it has seared my heart to theirs in so many ways.
I loved every single part of this book and how it was brought to a close. It was true to them, it was true to their love, and it exemplified what made them so special in the first place. I could not put this book down from the moment I started it, and the level of connection I felt to these characters while reading their story was out of this world phenomenal. I cannot tell you enough how much I love this book. This series is one of my favorites for a reason, and I highly recommend all of these books!
Good wrap up to Lucy & Harris' story. It was full of angst, surprises, laughs, swoon & many appearances by some of our favorite characters from the Rockers series!
I was so happy when the moms/aunt stopped going all mother-of-the-bridezilla but I actually felt a little sorry for Layla. When they started laying into her, they REALLY laid into her. Yes, she was a little self-absorbed at times during the wedding planning & distanced herself from Lucy but man... I didn't feel like it was all her fault. I wished Lucy would've stepped up a bit more & voiced her opinion to everyone, earlier on.
Loved that Lucy & Harris got to have their dream wedding; complete with a gorgeous gown, a unique cake & a perfect venue. And the surprise Lucy had for Harris after the ceremony was #priceless!
But I gotta say... how cruel was that unfinished storyline for Jace & Kin?! I NEED to know (like yesterday!) why Jace was being such an a**hat to Kin & who the hell this Eden chick is because she needs to get gone!
Not sure which book is up next in these sometimes intertwining series' by this author but I'm ready to have it in my hot little hands now. :)
Side Note: Some of those kids' names though... *insert eye-roll here*
I absolutely loved the fact that Lucy and Harris were getting married, for a couple of years now, we've read about them and to see them fall in love. As a kid, Lucy was spunky and always spoke her mind but here, she was a shell of herself, she let everyone walk all over her when it came to the wedding planning. I get that in the previous book they found out about her cutting but the way Layla was acting with her was plain annoying and the fact that Harris didn't see anything that was happening with the wedding and with Lucy was ridiculous. Lucy wasn't telling him what she was going through and Harris was acting as if everything was alright. How is the marriage suppose to work if they don't communicate. It was annoying how everybody was all up everybody else's business and the way that the parents were pairing off the kids and the kids were already pairing off was kind of weird to me. I thought that I wanted a next generation book series but nope, I'm good with just Lucy and Harris. It was great to see the relationship between Lucy and Drake was still solid, she always had a soft spot for him ever since she was a kid. When Lucy and Harris decided to plan everything themselves things were good and they got their HEA.
The finale to Lucy & Harris's story. We met them in book 2 of the Rockers books. We loved them through out the rest. We could see a possibility of what could be with them, and now its here. Their HEA, and everything that comes with it. But Lucy and Harris had no idea what was in store for them!
I love Lucy & Harris! They are amazing together, but they are still so young, and susceptible to pressure from their parents. When they begin planning their wedding, they have all the help they could ever hope to have, and then some. This book proves that bigger is not always better!
This book was the perfect ending to the Lucy & Harris Story. I enjoyed visiting with them, and with their families, all of the wonderful characters from past books. There were plenty of surprises, tears, and laughs in this book, and I'm kind of sad to see it all end. That being said, I can't wait to see what the author comes out with next!
This is not a stand alone but part of a series. Each of the books need to be read in order so that you don't give away any of the secrets to the next book.
In this book we get the story about what happens after Harris asks Lucy to marry him. We find out if it is all smooth sailing or if Lucy will have a backslide due to all the stress. We also find out what is happening with all of the rockers. This is an amazing story that will have you either looking for that perfect love or hugging the one that you have. Will there be an "I do" at the end of this book or will this be the end of them?
This is an amazing end to this series. It has it's ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. I however don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
This is why Terri Anne Browning is my absolute favorite! She makes you like you are right in the middle of the story! Lucy and Harris love for each other is just amazing! The way the claim each other just melts my heart! I love the Jesse is so protective of Lucy! He has unconditional love for his daughter! My dad was that way with me and my husband is that way with our daughter. I am really happy that Lucy And Harris planned their own wedding and didn’t let the moms take over! It was more special that way! I can’t wait to see what Terri Anne has in store for us readers! This book deserves 10 Stars!!!
Imagine my surprise when this book downloaded early!! I immediately dove in and just like all the rest, it was wonderful. I loved this story so much and loved seeing how Lucy and Harris' marriage came to be and how their love for each other blossomed!! I could not have been happier with this book. I loved how we got to see how Lucy is coping and how all of her loved ones helped...well that's not true, but most did! I loved how close she is with Drake, because you know he is my favorite!! It was more than I could have ever hoped for!!!!
This book had me hooked before I even finish the first page . I could not put this book down for the life of me . It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time . Their where some twist and turns that I never seen coming . At times this book was so hot I could hardly hold it with how hot the sheet became in the book. I fell more in love with all the characters in this book and by the end I did not want it to end because it was so amazing. I so can’t wait to see what Author Terri Anne Browning has in stored for her readers .
The wedding day is getting closer and Lucy is drowning in all the plans everyone is making without regards to what she is Harris really want. Lucy is close to losing it until Lana steps in and lets the mom's know they have gone to far. Lucy's relationship with her mom is suffering after her confession. She just wants to get back to where they use to be. It's finally time for the wedding and a little surprise brings unexpected joy. Loved the little epilogue. A good ending to this series.
This was the perfect ending to Harris and Lucy. Watching them grow from best friends to lovers to parents was amazing. Jesse and Devlin were just awesome. I loved the description of the cake and the dress. I would love a dress like. No words at how their story ended. I just wish it didn’t end yet. These two are my favorite from the The Rocker Series. Thank you Terri Anne for creating these amazing characters. I hope the other children get books two.
Great ending to a beautiful love story. We knew their love story would be epic but the book will make you cry, laugh wonder what is the next book being plotted by the author to keep us coming for more. I love who the author has grabbed our Heart and mind with her story line, and we keep coming back for more. She makes us remember all the other couples and makes me want to reread all the series all over again. Great read amazing author. Don’t miss her books.
I loved this series a lot and seeing at last harry and Lucy getting married is great. They have gone through their struggles to get their love succeed..and now they are getting their happily married only if their moms and emmie will stop interfering with her marriage preparations..sometimes family can be over bearing. Loved the conclusion of Lucy and Harris story and cant wait to read the other new gen books!
I love Terry, I’mTerry and getting addicted to her writing styles. I have got most of all her books and can’t wait for the next new book or new series. I love how this book and all the other Damon wings series makes me laugh. With how protective and fierce the men are over Lucy and their wife’s. I also love how Terry had ended this book with Lucy and Harris this is the best conclusion yet can’t wait to see what kin and Jace have to say next.
Lucy and Harris have been through so much but can Lucy truly move forward without the one man who owns her heart. Harris is determined to get Lucy back and he will stop at nothing but how do you unshatter a heart you destroyed, even though what happened wasn't your fault. This story broke me and brought me to tears for both Lucy and Harris. Such an amazing story or stories as I felt more than their story was told.
