Born and raised in Southeast Michigan near Ann Arbor, Elle learned the importance of reading from her mother. It was also her mother who, later on in her life, gave Elle her first romance novel: Indigo by Beverly Jenkins. From that moment on, Elle became a fan of Ms. Jenkins for life and a lover of all things romance. An old journal she wrote back in college became her first book (which she still wants to publish one day).

Elle is hard at work on her next novel.

More like a 3.5 star. I liked, Enticed By You. But had to skim some of it. There were a lot of times where things were explained unnecessarily I felt.

Enticed by You (Wellspring #2) by Elle Wright
He's trying to live down his father's reputation. Parker Wells is sick of being compared to his ruthless father. Looking right years of wrong, he sets out to mend fences Both personally and professionally. He has much to make up for and tough audience to convence. Doing the right thing has never seemed so complicated. When he Kennedi Robinson enters the equation with her big city ideas and a grudge to settle, circumstances become even more difficult. When it comes to following your heart, nothing ever proves easy. Can two hearts leave their pride at the door and take a risk on forever? Enticed By You is tale of redemption, sacrifice and hope that reminded me that looks may be deceiving, but emotions never lie.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC. Parker and Kennedi's story was the first in the Wellspring Series. Parker has taken over his father's company and he has to rebuild his father's bad reputation. Kennedi is in town taking a much-needed break. Neither one knew when they met by accident that love would follow. An intriguing read. I reallllyyy enjoyed the excerpt for book 2. Looking forward to it.

Enticed by you is the second book in the Wellspring series. Parker Wells Jr. interim CEO of Wellsprings Water Corp. is rear ended by attorney Kennedi Robinson during her visit to Wellspring. Even though his vehicle is not hurt his heart maybe, Parker is definitely smitten with the stranger that just collided into his truck. Kennedi Travels to Wellspring for a visit with her aunt., little does she know that her first day in town will change her life forever.

The story of Parker and Kennedi is proves that love at first sight does really exist, and it can happen if you open your heart and believe. I loved the chemistry between these two and enjoyed the way Kennedi tried to play hard to get. I loved the way the emotions were showed through the book with Kennedi as she worked through her issues. I am patiently waiting on the next installment of the series.

CONCEPT
Parker, finds himself at the helm of the family business, Wellspring Water Corporation.

With his father ailing and incapacitated, Parker Wells, Jr. has a bold new vision for the company he now heads. For starters, he wants to heal the rifts his father’s ruthless tactics have created in the community—and within his own family. But when Parker is rear-ended by a gorgeous stranger, he finds himself torn between business and pleasure . . .

Kennedi knows better than to fall for Parker’s charms—and she’s primed for battle.

CHARACTERS
The second installment of The Wellspring Seriescontinues with the story of Parker Wells, Jr.
With this installment you catch up the Wells family.  While their father is incapacitated, Parker Jr is the newly appointed interim CEO of the family.  With all the criminal activities that his father was involve in, Parker is now able to right all the wrong that was done by his father. There is some twist and turn in the story.

After the year Kennedi Robinson has had she felt she need a vacation, and she return to Wellspring to visit with her aunt, as she parks in front of a store she literally collides with Parker.  Once Parker got out of his truck to see if there was any damage, he couldn’t take his eyes off her.

The chemistry between them could be felt the moment they met. As their journey to love begin some major issue arise and with Parker and Kennedi trust become very important to them.  Kennedi is still dealing with the emotional rollercoaster of her ex treatment, has carry over into how she closed off her heart, so no one else can hurt her again.  Parker is a man who feeling for Kennedi grew fast, but he also knew she was constant putting up road block between.  Parker didn’t give up but he also let her know that he could go toe to toe with her.

Can two lawyers come together and find love, you will have to get the book to find out more. I enjoyed this couple journey from friend to lovers, because they did take the time to get to know each other.

CONCEPT
Woman returns home to visit family, has a minor fender bender her first day back and learns her aunt plans to sell the family business to a major corporation in the small town, never expecting to find love while there..

STORY
With his father ailing and incapacitated, Parker Wells, Jr. has a bold new vision for the company he now heads. For starters, he wants to heal the rifts his father’s ruthless tactics have created in the community—and within his own family. But when Parker is rear-ended by a gorgeous stranger, he finds himself torn between business and pleasure . . . CHARACTERS
Kennedi Robinson returns to Wellspring to recover from a breakup and help her aunt with the family business. She never expected she would get into a fender bender with none other than Parker Wells, Jr. There is instant attraction between the two and Kennedi is portrayed as a straight-forward person and does not believe in beating around the bush. She is straight to the point. Parker is at a place in his life where he is trying to right the wrongs of his father and turn Wellspring Corporation back into an organization that values its people and city. When he encounters Kennedi he knows he wants from her and goes after her. He realizes Kennedi is leery of trusting him and believes he has ulterior motives because of his father. Kennedi does not want to get in too deep but when the heart loves it loves hard.

DIALOGUE
The dialogue flowed and was appropriate for this story.

STRUCTURE
The story was well-crafted and flowed.

OVERALL
I enjoyed Enticed by you and reading about Parker’s struggle to show the citizens of Wellspring that he was not his father and turn the company toward a more positive future. He also knew Kennedi was the one for him. Kennedi had her own demons to bear and make Parker work for her love. Overall, this was a good read.

Ok, so the Wells patriarch is definitely a good mix of Stefano DiMera from Days of Our Lives and Victor Newman from Young and the Restless. I have a love/hate relationship with a good soap opera villain dad, so I’m a fan. Look up these characters if you’re not familiar with soap operas.

Enticed by You is the follow-up to the aforementioned novel and features the eldest Wells sibling, Parker. Parker is interim CEO of the Wellsprings Water Corp and trying to sort out the tangled mess his father has left behind in wake of his condition. In addition to the many company problems, there are quite a few familial issues that he has to also contend with.

Kennedi Robinson is a recently divorced attorney who makes her way back to her hometown of Wellspring for some much-needed rest and relaxation. On her way in town, she rear ends Parker’s vehicle. While there is no damage to his vehicle, he is initially annoyed by the interruption to his already full schedule. That is until he gets a glimpse at Kennedi. Now I don’t know if I would call it ‘love at first sight’ but she definitely had his attention and that is more than most women have had from him in a long time.

Kennedi and Parker soon start a relationship but they have a lot of obstacles in their way. Parker has many dust-ups with the company, one even involving Kennedi’s family company. In addition to that, Kennedi had a lot of unresolved issues from her previous marriage and made things unnecessarily hard for Parker at times. There were a few times where I became annoyed with her because she did not let Parker explain anything and jumped to the wrong conclusions. He had an enormous amount of patience with her though as she worked through her issues.

Admittedly, I liked the mystery and scandal surrounding the Wells family and company a bit more than the romance. Nonetheless, this was a solid addition to the Wellspring series and I’m interested in the next installment featuring the elusive brother, Bryson.

**I received this book in exchange for an honest review.**

Parker Wells Jr is determined to do right in life both personally and professionally. He's the complete opposite to his ruthless father and wants to prove it when it comes to the company he now runs. However, when he meets Kennedi, he finds himself torn between personal and business, especially when he discovers her connection to him.

This story was well-written, flowed nicely and had a very engrossing plot that started off with a very big bang literally because of Kennedi crashing into Parker's vehicle. I also liked the strong characters and the well-built back stories they had that made Parker want to be a bigger and better man determined to prove himself both personally and professionally. While Kennedi, she was a very delightful character that has every reason to be leery of the hero. He's the man that could take everything away from her aunt.

Overall, Ms. Wright delivered a wonderful read that was filled with plenty of emotion and made me feel for the characters because of their pasts and everything they go through to be together. Kennedi and Parker are perfect for each other and I enjoyed how charming Parker could be in showing Kennedi that she was the right woman for him. Lastly, I can't wait to read more books by Ms. Wright.

A ‘friendship’ forged by a traffic accident

I don’t usually encounter a new to me author who gets 5 stars on my first read, but this book was all that.

Parker Wells, Jr may have had an awful upbringing, but it shaped him into this totally lovable, caring, strong, yet sensitive man. If nothing else, you can judge most men by how they treat the females in their family and Parker adores his little sister.

Enter Kennedi Robinson, attorney, divorce, strong, intelligent but a little bit of a chip on her shoulder.

I freaking loved Parker from his first interaction with Kennedi and how he casually asked her for coffee after she ran into his car.

Both Parker and Kennedi have previous relationship issues that shaped who they are today and how they interact. Parker goes above and beyond to get Kennedi to accept a short-term relationship.

I loved their push and pull interactions and that at the end neither Parker nor Kennedi was willing to walk away from the love they found with each other.

The second book in the Wellspring series takes us through the familiar story of loss, grief, and newfound love. And just like Brooklyn, Parker Wells is the sure one, pushing forward while his counterpart runs a little scared. Parker Wells and Kennedi Robinson literally crash into each while Kennedi is driving into Wellspring to visit her aunt after a messy divorce forced her to recharge. They both feel what happens between them, but business could get in the way.

I love the way they dance around each other, just as I did in the first book. The push/ pull gives you a sweet angst that frustrates you a little, but Elle Wright never makes you wait too long for a payoff, lol. Parker and Kennedi are passionate and very connected from the start. I understood Kennedi's hesitance and her doubts but she frustrated me walking out on Parker. I loved Parker's integrity, his need to make things right, and reconcile everything with Senior, and with people Senior hurt with his business dealings. He understood the need to handle his business without dragging Kennedi through it too.

Great book.

Really, Really Good Book!!!

I just have to say that Elle Wright did an exceptional job with this book! It literally started off with a bang when Kennedi ran into Parker's car from the back. Kennedi has come home to Wellspring on vacation and gets involved with her aunt's sale of the family nursery to Wellspring Water Corporation where Parker is serving as interim CEO. Sparks fly each time they meet but Kennedi is carrying demons from her past. Parker never wanted a serious relationship but once he met Kennedi, that thought flew out of the window. Once they get together, passion and love blooms between them but they each have things they need to overcome. Some of my favorite parts of the book were the relationship between Kennedi and Anny, Paula and Lo Lo. Secrets, lies, greed and treachery are all included in this book. Reading the first 2 books in the series definitely makes me ready for the next book in the series.

Don't Let Past Hurts Ruin Your Destiny.

I really enjoyed this book. When Kennedi comes back to her childhood home to visit. She has a car accident by hitting the back of Parker Wells Jr. She remembers him from high school but because he was popular she figured he didn't remember her. From that accident by chance comes the cat and mouse chase of each other. Kennedi is afraid because of just going through a divorce where her husband used her and was a sheep in wolf's clothing.
I love the characters in the story with the exception of Senior who is father to Parker, Brooklyn and Bryson he was a ruthless business man and father.
I love Kennedi Aunt Aunny who was very close to her. Aunny husband Fred was a sweetheart any woman would love to be married to a man like him.
This book held my attention from the very beginning until the end. I recommend this book to read you will not be disappointed.

Kennedi hasn’t been back to Wellspring in a very long time. With everything that is going on in her life she knows she needs some down time. Parker is trying the company back in going standing after all the mess his father caused. Parker and Kennedi meet after a minor traffic accident. She immediately knows who he is but he doesn’t know who she is. Kennedi is surprised to say the least that her Aunt wants to sell the family business and she comes out guns blazing at Parker. Parker can’t believe that she would think that of him and his defenses go up. Will they both get over their past hurts in order to have a better life in the future?

I was totally pulled into Kennedi and Parker’s story. Kennedi and Parker were both very strong willed. Kennedi and Parker’s chemistry was off the chart. Kennedi wanted to deny anything was there between them but Parker knew he wanted her. Kennedi and Parker both had some past hurts that they both needed to deal with. I loved both of their characters and this story was good from beginning to end!!!

ENTICED BY YOU is next in this series and this Parker and Kennedi's journey.

Parker Wells is the eldest Wells sibling and if there is anyone that could use a little love, it is him. Now, interim CEO first on his list is to settle the town's unrest brought on by Seniors's dirty dealings and bringing his siblings together, making sure that they have their rightful place in the Wells family empire.

Kennedi Robinson has her own past that she needs a cleansing of when she comes crashing into Parker just as she hits Wellsprings city limits.  What is it about these Wells kids that love comes crashing into them.

Their battle in business and laws of attraction help them see they are better together than apart.  The way the author paired the couple's likes and differences, along with the supporting characters made for a great story.

Hope that love can heal old wounds

When it happens it happens. Oh what a story Elle has delivered for us with Enticed by You. Kennedi and Parker are what happens when you allow love to see you through and are open to being vulnerable. Plus have friends and family like Trent, Anny, Brooklyn and Paula to call you on your stuff when one is being foolish is a plus.
The aftermath of losing a loved one is never easy and how one copes with that lost is sometimes detrimental to other parts of their lives. Hence the lack of trust in others as manifested by Kennedi. Or the drive to be better as shown by Parker. Through it all the story gives hope that of you trust love and are open to it, you'll reap the rewards.

The past year has been stressful for both main characters. Parker Wells Jr., has become interim CEO while his father is in a coma. Kennedi Robinson has just written her last spousal support check. Convinced to take a vacation, Kennedi returns to her hometown of Wells Springs.
Both hero and heroine are at odds because of a business deal. That opposition really is very very minimal in the story. This is book 2 in a series and I do believe there are more corporate shenanigans at Wells Springs Water Corp.. Instead you have two characters who are coming to terms with events from their pasts. The two meet. and the chemistry is very good.

I received an ARC through Net Galley

Enticed by You by Elle Wright is book Two in the Wellspring Series. This is the story of Parker Wells, Jr and Kennedi Robinson. I haven't yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book.
While Parker father is in a coma he works to fix some wrongs his father set in motion while working at their company Wellsprings Water Corp. Along with the business side hopefully some family issue can be smoothed over. What he didn't plan on was a crash into Kennedi who is in town visiting her Aunt along with some other business.
I enjoyed reading their story and seeing how they worked things out...loved it!

Who knew that a ram to the rear end would lead to happily ever after? Parker Wells Jr. didn’t anticipate the bump from behind wasting coffee over his expensive suit but when he got out and saw the damsel in distress there was an immediate attraction. Kennedi A. Robinson was beautiful at first sight & Parker instantly wanted to know her. Both have personal issues to overcome but can they let go and trust the love they’ve quickly grown for one another in their short time together. Enticed by You is well written with some hot & steamy scenes. Elle Wright continues to prove her place at the top of BEST romance authors!!

This story has a lot of drama especially with Parker, his dad & their company wellspring water Corp. I worked in the world of corporate America so I know how brutal it is. Its every man for himself and people will stop at nothing to get what they want.

Personally for me, I didn't enjoy this book because this storyline is my daily reality and I read books to escape my reality, not to get more sucked in than I already am. I don't need to know more about corporate America than I already know.

The writing and story is good but whilst it may appeal to a lot of people it is just not for me. If you like business, office drama, contracts, etc. then this is the book for you.

Parker Wells, Jr. has plans for his company, he will run it unlike his father. Parker rushed in to replace his father, when he became ill and unable to continue his job.

Corporate attorney Kennedi was heading to aunts for a little R&R when she runs into Parker, and from there it turns into a Hot, sexy& sweet story.

This is an easy read, I love Parker and Kennedi. The story line was easy to follow and had me not wanting to stop reading. I love how Ella Wright writes her stories..so captivating! A Must Read!!

When Parker Wells Jr. was first introduced in Touched By You, he seem like the least likely to fall in love. He was spending his life dedicated to Wellspring Water and trying to right the wrongs caused by his father, Senior.

Well along comes Kennedi Robinson who not only starts him to rethinking his relationship status but is just what he needs to help him to heal.

I loved Parker who was laid back and no nonsense. Kennedi had some issues, but she had her aunt and Parker to help her overcome them. Another great Wellspring story. So looking forward to Bryson’s story.

Loved Parker Wells Jr., Kennedi Robinson, not so much! Both of these young people need healing from the deceit they both experienced from family members who should have loved and protected them, but instead chose their own selfish agendas. Parker Jr. is trying to fix all of the shady deals that his father set up when Parker Senior ran the company. All the while trying to convince Kennedi that they have a loving future together. She seems hell-bent on insulting Parker by making him pay for her sleazy ex-husband's crimes. Parker is a good guy and deserves a woman who totally believes in him.

Good read

Two people filled with pain and hurt chart a course to love. Kennedi filled with loss and hurt from her parents death and ggd hurt and betrayal of her ex-husband has closed herself off from love. Parker dealing with the pain, deciet, anf legal troubles heaped on him from his father's many illegal actions was not looking for love. A accidental traffic accident, a unscrupulous land sale puts the two together and a love story unfolds. The story was well written. It was good to see Brooklyn and Carter happy and thriving. I look forward to Bryson's story in book 3.

We all know that sometimes sequels do not hold up. Well, I have to tell you this book brought it with Kennedi and Parker. We learned how unresolved issues can play a factor in our decisions and lives. Brooklyn and Carter are in the book but they are not the primary focus of the story this time. Senior's dirty deeds come back to haunt his family. It is how you handle that can make or break you. This book took you on another emotional rollercoaster and each character there is a lesson to learn.

Elle Wright does it again. She penned another great installment of the Wellspring series. I was happy to see Parker find the love he didn’t even know he was looking for while being able to the one Kennedi didn’t even know she needed. All while everyone is falling in love and being happy the thunder cloud known as Senior still hovers. But from every rainstorm comes a rainbow do hopefully book 3 will bring that. Can wait to see what happens next.

This was so sweet, fun, complicated, funny, loving, deep, erotic, sexy, and a breath of fresh air, sigh...

Kennedi and Parker are a perfect match. And Parker is sexy as hell in this book. I loved them together. They are complex and easy going, and Ms. Wright balanced their struggles and successes so well.

She brought all the drama to the pages, the push/pulls, the ups and downs, were fantastic. I’m in love with their love :).

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I think you will too.

I loved Parker Wells, Jr.’s story. He and Kennedi Robinson were good together. Great chemistry! The intrigue continues that surrounds Wellspring Water, but this story reassures us that Parker, Jr will be all right. That was a memorable moment that Parker had at Senior’s bedside. Ellle Wright’s stories get better and better. I recommend the Wellspring Series.
