Amy Knupp is a USA Today Best-Selling author of contemporary romance and a freelance copy editor. She loves words and grammar and meaty, engrossing stories with complex characters.
Amy lives in Wisconsin with her husband, and has two sons, four cats, and a box turtle. She graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in French and journalism. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, breaking up cat fights, watching college hoops, and annoying her family by correcting their grammar.
I am in love with the concept of Hale Street. The drive of Violet, Burke and Nick to restore and revitalize the area shines through the story lines in all the books. Sweet Spot is Hunter and Kennedy's story. It is nice to see Kennedy grow out of her shell. Amazing characters and story telling. I can see I will not accomplish much until all the books are read! Soft Spot, while shorter than the first three (it is a novella after all), is as well done as the first three books - entertaining characters and a well developed plot. I have already started the next novella. I recommend the entire series. One and Only is a great story with wonderful, believable characters. Sloan and Micah's story is very moving. I cannot wait for the next book in the Hale Street series. Highly recommended. I own each book so I did not purchase this box set.
I absolutely love Hale Street. This re-gentrification project in the midst of the city of Nashville is like a small-town oasis in the middle of a vast urban sprawl. The mix of shops, stores, businesses and residents feels so REAL. Everyone knows everyone and pitches in to help when help is needed. People actually talk to each other. All of these standalone stories have tons of heart and bundles of warm, fuzzy feels. They will make you laugh, cry, form friendships, and fall in love. These books, when binged, might feel like there are gaps in chronology, because they aren't ALL the books, only AMY's books. Amy is good about including the other authors' characters without allowing any spoilers about their stories. I bought a copy of this series boxset on Amazon and voluntarily chose to share my review.
