Many factors go into losing weight and this book addresses several of the major factors in detail and explains the importance of each. The book includes formulas to calculate the number of calories a person needs per day to remain healthy. It also explains the dangers of being overweight or obese.
Losing weight boils down to eating healthy and exercising on a regular basis. The author also suggests that you also include portion control.
The book discusses the effect that certain substitute (artificial) sweeteners have on your body. It also addresses the impact of fasting and/or eating when you are not hungry.
One of the major points in the book is that eating healthy is not difficult, but it requires careful planning.
Loaded with great information and encouragement, the book keeps the reader’s interest until all the information is absorbed.
I gave the book only 4 * due to the fact that the introduction segment includes sections that appear to have been borrowed from professionally written text books, interspersed with the writing of a layman. It also has many edits with missing words and spaces. Once you get past the introduction segment, the writing is that of a well-informed layman with lots of information and encouragement.
The book is as the title suggests to the point in its 93 pages. However it is sometimes too glib and does not explain some of the necessary information
