Where humans live side-by-side with animated characters called Concessions, Detective Samuel Poprocks may be the only man willing to give them a shot at justice. When one of these once famous and beloved characters is found dead near Poprock's own office, he decides to take on the case despite the lack of interest by the Police, and a lack of money to be paid. But little does Poprocks suspect how his own life will be put in jeopardy for meddling in Concession affairs. This tongue in cheek short story shows that humans are not the only species that crave power and influence over the rights of others.
