Se7en Deadly SEALs: Season 1 originally released as series. I can see why the author did that as this journey is action packed, full of twists and turns, and full of heart-stopping excitement. You almost need the small break between the sections as my blood pressure rose with each new part.

I seriously could not put this book down. There were times when I wanted to take a break, but just couldn't as I watched Mia on her mission. I loved her character. She's flawed, full of secrets and full of so much determination. She's a true survivor. The things being thrown at her would break anyone but her.

Overall, this book was an insane, addictive journey. Some parts had me gasping, others had me teared up, and the rest was full of excitement. There were no lulls, and it was paced evenly for being so busy. I would recommend to the reader looking looking for a surprising and twisty tale, with military heroes and one unique heroine.

Conceit
This sets the stage for what promises to be an emotional and engrossing thriller. There’s secrets around every turn and it’s possible that no one’s who they claim to be. When her ex, Grant, refuses to help her, Mia undergoes an extreme makeover to go undercover to prove her brother innocent of murder.
Chronic
Mia may be in deeper than she knows how to handle. Her new identity has gotten her access to places and people she couldn’t speak with before, but it may also have brought her crashing back into a past she would dearly love to forget. Grant’s seeing his Mia in everything this strange new woman says and does, but he’s not sure how to prove it. Can Mia save her brother with her masquerade? Will she even survive it?
Crazed
The net around Mia tightens as more and more people unravel her identity. How much longer can she stay under the radar? She and Grant have discovered more pieces to the puzzle, but every new piece they find generates more questions than answers. Will they find enough answers in time to save her brother?
Carnal
Truths are coming home to roost. Can Mia and Grant handle everything they’re about to learn? Will any of these truths free her brother from the murder charge? Or will they just generate even more questions? For every step forward Mia and Grant take, their shared pasts pull them back two.
Crave
Who’s telling the truth? Who can be trusted? Can the even trust each other? All around Mia and Grant are people that aren’t quite who or what they appear to be. Every answer they uncover spawns more questions. Will they even get a happily-ever-after when all’s said and done?
Consume
As the truths are uncovered, the lies are coming home to roost. Have Grant and Mia finally gotten their happily-ever-after only to lose it again? Everything’s starting to make a twisted kind of sense. And the picture that’s emerging from the gathered puzzle pieces is terrifying.
Covet
The epic finale I was hoping for, and yet not the way I was expecting to get it. Grant and Mia have been fighting so hard to get their happily-ever-after. And for every step closer they got to it, something happened to push them two steps farther away. We finally know all the answers and get to see the picture on the puzzle. It is gritty, and emotional, and a testament to the human spirit.

I'm a newer fan of Alana Albertson, and the few stories that I've read by her I've loved. With that being said, after reading Se7en Deadly SEALs: Season 1, I'm ADDICTED, so I'm putting her on my addiction list as a must read. However, I'm so glad that I read this story as Season 1, not novella by novella, or I may have been just calling her colorful metaphors for a review instead. I've been sick, so had to read this kind of last minute, but even so, I sat devouring it, not doing another thing, as I couldn't be distracted with anything else, until every page was finished. (Even had to force myself to stop & eat to take medicine) Basically, Mia's brother Joaquin Cruz is in jail for murder, after a SEAL party had gone wrong. She has no one else in the world, because she walked away from her boyfriend, his partner Grant, years before, so she will do anything to prove him innocent. Grant, nor any of their SEAL team, will help her, so she gives up her life to go undercover as a stripper to prove his innocence. That's all that I've giving away, especially since the release sale price makes it easy to get all of this suspenseful goodness for a steal! I absolutely LOVED Mia, but not going to lie, still very pissed at Grant, because in my opinion, he was a douche for the majority of the book. Yeah I know, he was hurt, boo hoo, but get over it & be a man, not a baby. He treated her like crap, and she forgave him a lot easier than I would have. So I still want to junk punch him for hurting Mia so much! That being said, their chemistry was hot, so sexy times were filled with FIERY FLAMES to light the sheets up. And the cast of secondaries were all filled with layers, which kept me suspicious of everyone to be honest. Which leads me to all of the twists around every corner, so my f-bomb dropping levels were off the charts insane, and with the final twist, making my final f-bomb LOUD! Alana Albertson was brilliant at weaving a fantastic story filled with crazy suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat for hours, and I CANNOT WAIT for the next season! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Mia is pretty confident that she has Grant fooled ... but is he? As Grant digs to find the truth behind the murder in a bid to help his best friend and teammate Joaquín, he realises he's only scratched the surface of all the secrets and lies that surround his team .... and Mia gets the shock of her life when she makes some startling discoveries. Grant and Mia get to know each other again as they work together to help exonerate Joaquín but Grant knows that Mia's been hiding secrets from him and although Grant can never trust Mia, how is he ever going to let her go? When the truth finally comes out, Mia refuses to believe any of it until she's kidnapped. But with Grant behind bars in a ploy to flush out some urgently needed information, will he be able to save Mia?

Alana Albertson delivers an intriguing, action-packed, thrilling, suspenseful and steamy story full of twists and turns for a page turner that you won't be able to put down and will leave you wanting more

I received this book as an ARC for an honest and voluntary review. I've read a few of Alana Albertson's books before and enjoyed them. The main statement I have to say about this book is what a total mind fuck! Every time I'd think I had it figured out, we'd twist off in a new direction. At one point the hero stated, he felt like he was in a choose your own adventure novel and I can't disagree with him.
This is a compilation of 7 novellas that were written and released over the last three years. Book 1 came out in 2014, and book 7 came out in 2017. Each book is about 150 pages or so. Therefore it took me most of the week to read it, and I hated putting it down. I was pissing off my husband because everytime he turned around I was reading, on my kindle or my iphone. Sitting at the movies waiting for it to start, yep reading.
It's hard to give a synopsis of this book with out giving away spoilers, which I hate to do. So I'll give a run down, but it's going to be similar to the synopsis of the book.
Joquin is a Navy SEAL, and the brother of Mia, who was arrested for murder which he claims he didn't commit. Mia believes him and will do anything possible to clear her name. That includes becoming someone else entirely to go under cover and get clues. In her new persona, she lures in her former boyfriend also a SEAL Grant, thinking he has some clues as to how a dead stripper was found in her brother's bed. This is only the beginning, because the dead stripper is only the tip of the iceberg on the craziness of this ride.

Her life is so screwed up.... she left her boyfriend, the love of her life, and her brother is on trial for murder. So what does she do when his SEAL brothers will not help with the investigation- go undercover and drastically change her appearance, what could go wrong?

Mia Cruz is a theater major and she feels she can fall back on her acting skills to pull this off. She goes undercover as a blonde bombshell stripper to trying solve the murder her brother is convicted of committing. What she doesn’t anticipate is her ex-boyfriend Grant Carrion brought the strippers to the party where one ended up murdered. She tries fooling Grant into believing she is Ksenya, a stripper straight out of his fantasies. Grant is convinced at first but she does little things that remind him of Mia and he is convinced that she really is Mia. Now to put Ksenya to the test, she basically passes but he is still convinced that Ksenya is Mia. Meanwhile, Joaquin, Mia’s brother and Grant’s best friend is sitting in jail awaiting trial for murder. Mia/Ksenya is getting closer to Grant, her feelings have never gone away and she only broke up with him because he got hurt while with the SEALs and she just couldn’t stand losing another person really close to her and she had a trauma herself to deal with.
Things are not as they appear to be on the surface. Did Joaquin really kill the stripper that he is accused of murdering? Does Grant really see through Mia’s disguise? Will he forgive her a second time for her deception?

Becoming Mia💋💃
In the first book, "Conceit", Navy SEAL, Joaquin🐺, is framed for the murder of a stripper at an all night SEAL party. He is sitting in prison. His sister Mia💃💋, vows to go undercover to find out who the real murderer is and free her brother. She's done some acting, so she has plastic surgery and transforms herself into a stripper called Ksenya.💃

In the second book, "Chronic" Ksenya goes after one of the other SEALs, named Grant🐺🔪🔫, to find out all she can , but she finds herself falling for him. Grant🔪🔫 is in 💘love with Mia, and he knows her mannerisms. He seems to recognize some of them in Ksenya💃, but he's not totally sure yet. He wants her out of the strip club, so he gets her a job at the SEALs watering hole 🍺 called The Pickled Frog.

"Crazed" the third book finds Ksenya💃 in a compromising position with another SEAL, Mitch🐺🔪🔫, and she realizes, she thinks, he's the one who drugged and attacked her years ago at her brothers deployment party, even though he's supposed to be a friend! OH NO!

All the weird and crazy stuff that happens in this book is hard to take sometimes. Mia's transformation into Ksenya💃, a Russian, is truly crazy! She suspects all the SEALS in her brother's circle of killing the stripper, so she can't trust anyone. There are far too many ridiculous twists and turns to this conglomerated book to review here.

Deadly Sins (Deadly SEALs Book 1)

Wow! This updated story of Alana Albertson’s previously published Conceit, Chronic, and Crazed, is great! I read the original first part of this story, Conceit, and thought it was pretty good, but this version with all of these three stories included is great. I only wish Deadly Lust was already out or hope it is coming out soon. I give this story a 5-star review and suggest it to readers who enjoy military, suspense, and second chance love stories.

A Navy SEAL, Joaquin, is accused of a crime, but no one knows what really happened. His sister, Mia, is determined to help her brother clear his name, but no one is willing to help her, not even her ex-boyfriend, her brother’s best-friend, Grant. There are so many things going on in this story, but it is written so well. There is deceit, secrets, and love in this story. The cliff hanger left me looking for the next book right away. SEAL’s will never talk, but Mia has a plan to trick them and try to get to the truth of what happened to clear her brother of the charges. However, her plan could destroy any chance she may have ever had to get Grant back, and it could also get her killed. She can’t back down though, Joaquin is all she has left and if he isn’t cleared then what does Mia have left in her life?

So I’ve read only first three parts and then the last part to see how it ends.

This book piqued my interest with interesting plot, Navy SEAL accused of killing a stripper and his sister doing what ever needed to prove he’s innocent. However, it felt completely flat. What Mia does and other thing that happened were too far-fetched for me. I also didn’t connect with main characters. I found Mia’s character completely immature and all over the place. Grant was a bit better, but still his behavior was questionable at best. Their character development was also nonexistent.
I also didn’t like the stereotype characterization of other Navy SEALs. They were all manwhores and were cheating their wives and wives knew about it, really?

Even if you manage to get pass poorly developed characters and unbelievable storyline, you still have to go through 7 “books” to get to the end. I can’t even call each part a book because it barely has 90 pages! I’m sure that with a bit of editing and polishing all 7 parts could all combined into one complete novel.

After reading the last part, I’m glad I didn’t waste my time and money to read all books in this series.
The ending was just laughable, it’s definitely not worth it.

What a fantastic series ( season one) it's kept me engrossed for two days solid. It tells a story of Mia and a group of seven seals but in particular Joaquin her brother, Grant her ex boyfriend and Mitch a friend. It has a bit of everything Mystery, suspense and lots of hot steamy sex. I loved Mia she would do anything to prove her brothers innocence after he was charged with murder, she even went to drastic lengths to disguise herself as the remaining seals closed ranks and wouldn't help her. Grant her ex boyfriend thought he could see threw her disguise, the chemistry between them was still there and just as strong but when secrets and lies between them come to the surface could the hard shell he has enclosed himself in showing cracks, will they get back to what they had? Is a brothers love for his sister really what it seems? What is her brother really hiding? And will Mia believe the actual truth? What will the future hold for them all read the book for yourself and see you Won't be disappointed. Can't wait for season two to come out. I was given this as an ARC from Hidden Gems in exchange for a voluntary honest review.

There is mystery, suspense, lost love and an intriguing story plot. Mia is a strong woman who goes under a transformation to save her brother who is accused of murder. Grant is a Navy SEAL and Mia's ex who happens to be her brother's best friend and SEAL teammate. Mia has her secrets of why she broke Grant's heart and Grant is broken because of this and doesn't trust any woman anymore and holds an animosity towards Mia. But through it all even after 2 years he still loves her and she still loves him. When Mia sees Grant and what he has become she wonders if she ever knew him. They both had their secrets when together and now even more that they are apart. When Grant discovers Mia's biggest secret now what will he do and how will they both come together to save her brother.
Along with the steamy scenes there are twists and turns that keep coming which kept me on my toes, kept me guessing and had my jaw hanging at times going WHAT ???? Even though it is a long read it was well worth it.

I voluntarily received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book from Hidden Gems. An exciting, page turning book. Filled with mystery, suspense, secrets, danger, second chances, assault, murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and much more. Page after page I could not put it down. When I first read the title I thought it was an Armageddon type book and almost did not get it. Then I read the blurb and decided to chance it and read it. So glad I did. It has to do with Mia and her brother Joaquin, a navy seal and her soul mate and ex Grant. Joaquin was arrested on murder charges. But Mia knew he could not have done it. She tried to reach out to Grant but he told her off and to stay the hell away from him. The command of the navy seals were ordered not to discuss about what happened or speak to Joaquin. Mia went undercover to discover who killed the stripper that her brother was accused of murdering. What an astonishing read. So many questions so many secrets, it was exhilarating to read page after page. I highly recommend this book

I read this under CONCEIT & received this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review

This is my first book that I have Read by Alana Albertson & I loved it.

I totally enjoyed the storyline of the who done it.
The Love of Mia for her brother Joaquín, who will DO literally ANYTHING to save her brother for false murder.
Then I see the love of her life Grant hates her for what she DID to make that happen. But he doesn't even see the reason why she broke his heart, or that her own heart his breaking. But he won't even help the man who he says is his best mate, some mate huh.
So here we see that Mia does the biggest transformation & risk of her life to find out the truth. But heck Alana's left us with the biggest cliff hanger, not with JUST not finding out who framed Joaquín but that we see that Grant's dog Hero is too at ease with the stripper Ksenya
Who he's brought home with him...
You just KEEP WANTING to know the answers & if forgiveness comes into play...
Can't wait to read Chronic to find out...

Hello, Bookworms,

I figured I do one review for all seven books because I find it more appropriate and that way I won't be giving too much away.

We start with the first book with our main character visiting her brother in prison and him saying that he didn't kill that stripper. Mia (MFC) promising him that she try and exonerate him from those charges. She goes to her ex and asks for help but his to butthurt of the breakup and send her away.

Well, desperate as she was she goes undercover as a stripper into the SEALs world and try and find what actually happened.

Right, this is the start of the book, but let me tell you that the holly guacamole has blessed this author; this has blown my mind. I haven't loved a book so much in ages. The characters, the suspense, the plot thickens as the book progresses.

I loved it! I would definitely suggest this book for people to read, it had every aspect of a good book but still wasn't rushed.

So here is the link go ahead and buy it and read and then come back here and tell what you thought! https://amzn.to/2K0EdVZ

Not your typical Seal book

Well that was one crazy, twisted, effed up story. Seals, lies, murder, mystery, suspense and to really mess you up second chance romance just to round this story out. Mia Mia Mia well what can I say about her... loyal to a fault and tstl because of it! Loyalty is one thing stupidy is a completely different story! Grant hot honorable seal fell in Love with Mia and his fate was sealed, chose the wrong best friend and almost lost everything because of it. Thank goodness he was the smart one in this book. Too many suspects, too many questions without answers and too many head shakes at Mia and her naivety, loyalty, stupidity misguided trust in the wrong people. I could see her point briefly but at the point where all the evidence is given to her and yet she is still blindly trusting said person...ugh I wanted to smack my self in the forehead!!! What a freaking crazy, twisted story this was.

I am so glad I read this as a complete box set! I would’ve gone crazy waiting for each volume in the series to come out. This book had me second guessing everyone. First I thought that was just way harsh how Grant treated Mia when she showed up at his place asking for help. Then again at the bar. It really made me suspect that maybe Grant had something to hide by dismissing Mia at every opportunity. There were a few hints here and there that got dropped but it kept me guessing all they. Even Mia’s backstory, that girl is so strong. I truly felt she was cheated so much out of life. The bombshells that dropped throughout all the investigations were so shocking. My heart goes out to Mia. This is definitely a must read - I gave it 4 stars becuase there were a few editing errors and typos.

Your main characters are Joaquín Cruz, Mia Cruz and Grant. Joaquín Cruz is accused of murdering a stripper and he is denying it but none of the Navy SEALS will say anything. Grant and Mia used to be an item until a life changing event happened so Mia broke up with Grant. Mia went to Grant to find out why Joaquín was accused of murder but he won't help her so Mia decides to use her theater skills to the max. Mia is now Ksenya after major plastic surgery and Russian lessons so she can infiltrate the SEALS to find out information. With out giving spoilers there were a few things going on at once but it all melded together pretty well. There was some redundancy and some boring parts so it was a tad long and some parts were extremely unrealistic but that is what fiction is all about. I will read season 2

OMG I absolutely loved this story it was quite intriguing, a thrilling roller coaster ride that kept you on the edge of your seat. Suspenseful with a touch of mystery and definitely some surprising outcomes and quite sexy. Alana Albertson has written some incredible characters they are determined and ready to fight for what they want. This is the story of a sister willing to do what ever it takes to prove her brothers innocents even approching the one man that she loved and then broke his heart. He is a man
who loses himself every time he comes home between missions in the arms of strippers to try and erase her from his mind and heart, when she shows up asking for help he turns her away to try and protect his heart. There was a lot of twist and turns that just kept you hooked till the very end. I highly recommend this great book.

Wow! I read the first installment of this series and was really angry at the cliffhanger! I am so glad this box set came out so I could read the whole thing. I wasn't disappointed at all. The plot was intriguing and interesting. It was slow reading at times; however, I was still hooked. I wanted to see what Mia would do next. Some of the things she did was over the top obsessive. I love my brothers though I don't think I would go to the degree she did. I loved Grant and I couldn't really blame him for his feelings towards Mia at first. There were lots of twist and turns. A very emotional and mentally draining read. The ending was a surprise that I didn't see coming! I can't wait for Season 2!

wowowowow!! This book was mindboggling with suspense, steamy men and an amazing storyline. This was a very long read (7 novellas) and I had to set it down and come back to later but very good. Initially, I had a hard time getting into the book but the longer I read, the more I got sucked in! Mia changes the ways he looks through plastic surgery, working out, changing hair color and ever learning Russian to speak with an accent to find out who killed a woman to set her brother free from prison. No one recognizes her, not even her ex, Grant. Alana really thought out this series in detail to come up with all the twists and turns. Very well written!

My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.

Talk about full of action and suspense. This book was fast paced, action packed and full of twists, No shortage of danger or drama as Mia went undercover as a stripper in order to help clear her brother. Her brother was a Navy Seal who was wrongly accused of murder and she was determined to clear his name and get him released from jail. She uncovers a web of lies and deceit more than she could have imagined. Her journey takes her back into the life of her ex boyfriend. This book is full of emotion and passion. An exciting read. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Mia is determined to prove that her brother, Joaquin, is innocent of the crime he's been paying for for years. She will stop at nothing to exonerate him. When she turn to her ex and her brother's teammate Grant for help, he turns her down and Mia decides that if she wants something done she'll have to do it herself.
Se7ven Deadly Seals is a thrilling ride with passion and mystery. Lies and secrets are revealed and Mia and Grant find themselves trying to figure out what's a lie and who's telling the truth. This was my first read by this author and after reading this one, I will definitely be reading more of her work.

📚I am honestly and voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader's copy of this book📚
There are so many frustrations with this book it's hard to know where to begin. This book was originally written as a serial, maybe it should have stayed that way. It was l-o-n-g, repetative, and a chore to read! I've never been less invested in 2 characters than in Grant and Mia or Ksenya, or whatever she calls herself. I love second chances, but the level of hate that radiates off of Grant towards Mia is unreal. This whole book became too much of a weird, wacky fairy tale. I loved Invincable, so I know Alana Albertson can write really well, this just didn't do it for me.

Se7en Deadly SEALs ~ Season 1 is a seven part anthology about SEAL Team 7 based in San Diego. All seven books tell of the love story between Mia and Grant; it also is about Joaquín one of the SEALs on SEAL Team 7 being charged with murder. The emotional conflict and changes for Mia and Grant make a great love story. Joaquín has a unique part of the story as a criminal and the cause of most of Mia and Grant's problems.

I loved the high emotional level of the entire story from beginning to end. Mia changes from a protected younger sister to a strong confident woman that takes changing her life to extreme. Grant matures into a good man and an understanding husband and father.

Voluntary review of an ARC. Really great series. I reviewed the first installment and didn't give a raving review mostly because of the cliffhanger ending and I felt the premise of changing appearance through plastic surgery and fooling everyone was a big over the top. However, the rest of the series was so believable and suspenseful, it more than made up for all my former misgivings. The character development was spot on. The romance was wonderful. The suspense made it a real page turner and the twists and turns kept me guessing. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

This is an exciting, gripping and suspenseful story. With some real twists. Grant is stubborn, confused, angry and bitter. Mia is stubborn, determined, headstrong and naive. It's hard to review without giving spoilers. So I will just say that this is a brilliantly written, captivating story that you shouldn't start unless you have time to finish it all at once. Absolutely do add it to your TBR list. At the top, the next book you read.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Hidden Gems. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

Long...but good

I really liked this book. Didn’t expect the ending that’s for sure. You get a glimpse of the tight brotherhood of the Seals with a twist that’s for sure. I felt the book dragged at times - I wanted it to hurry up and get to the next part. This was the first in the series so I understand the character development setting up for the rest in the series. Overall a good story and storyline. I will read the others just because I can’t leave a character hanging when I just know something about him.

All well written stories with a great storylines and plots. This box set with seven standalone stories is absolutely a must have. It contains amazing stories that has a lot of chemistry and passion in them. They are rollercoasters of emotional ups and downs. You laugh, scream, cry and want to shake the characters sometimes to get them in the game. A bit different from others with this theme.

The stories have some unsuspected twists which only makes them much better.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
