Dream Lover....
What a wonderful series this is, we see the deep loneliness that vampires live and the utter wonder and love they feel when the are gifted with the very rare Bloodmate.
Flint is a very old vampire, he is a daywalker and has lived all his very long life as bodyguard and head of security to his best friend and the vampire who saved him when he was turned thousands of years ago. Now that his friend Victor has found his bloodmate and is traveling the world on his honeymoon, he feels out of sorts having never been separated from him before... He laughed at his friend the times he was out of character by bowing to her whims after having met his very feisty and free willed mate. Now that he is on his way to Scotland on a not so desired vacation he starts to feel an insatiable hunger and he is confused not remembering for a minute what Victor went through when he got close to his bloodmate. Who's laughing now?
In Scotland Kenzie McBride half faerie has been having erotic dreams of a vampire for weeks, but they always leave her a crying mess when she wakes and realizes her lover is not beside her. While Flint comes in at number 6 on this set of books, by no way is it that when reading it!
The author was able to take the story and give it a new twist which keeps it refreshing and captivating when reading. You have the blood mate bond with the two points of dream and real. Which flips back and forth for a tad bit. You have the twists that just hooks you in till the very end. Then when you think that hook has left your mouth like a fish spitting it out .. it is right back.
It is absolutely highly entertaining twisted plotted story that leaves you drooling for more of the same. With hints of why is the blood mate bonds coming out now.. and why so many? How will the directive handle these major events and protect those who are effect... that is just a few of the Q's this author leaves you with at the end.

What a tasty treat for lovers of vampire romance and another example of why I love A.K. Michaels! I became a fan of vampire fiction after reading Dracula by Bram Stoker in high school and for the last fifty years, I've devoured all the paranormal vampire romance I could get my hands on - and yes, I have been accused of being a vampire groupie! lol... Then five years ago, I discovered The Witch, The Wolf, and The Vampire by A.K. Michaels. Michaels was a new-to-me author, but she totally rocked my world and after only 1 book, I was hooked for life. I've now read every single book Michaels has ever published and enjoyed them all, and this book is no exception. In Flint, the sixth release of A Vampire's Thirst Collection, Michaels puts the pedal to the metal in the very first chapter and holds the hammer down all the way to the finish line. This book may be relatively short, coming in at approximately 180 pages, but it packs a powerful punch and literally explodes with perilous danger, heartbreaking drama, heart-stopping action, agonizing angst, steamy passion, and dreamy romance from beginning to end! Once I started reading, I simply couldn't stop. I was completely enthralled from the first page till the last and loved every single minute! Can you tell I really enjoyed this book? lol... Now, let me tell you why!
Flint is a riveting, well-crafted, fast-paced, easy-to-follow paranormal romance filled with danger, drama, action, suspense, and romance. Flint is the sixth release of the collection but the second contribution by Michaels. The narrative is beautifully written in the third person with primary perspectives from the two protagonists. The dialogue is smart, snappy, sometimes funny, always well-executed, and flows effortlessly. There's just so much I love about Michael's writing but my favorite component, by far, is always the large cast of engaging characters. They literally explode from the pages, grab your imagination, capture your heart, and hold you prisoner from the first till the last! In this story, Michaels gives her readers a pulse-pounding adventure featuring ancient vampire Flint (or I should say 'Just Flint' - you'll have to read the read to find out why) and the lovely Kenzie McBride. Flint is handsome, courageous, loyal, fierce, and imposing. He's usually cool, calm, controlled, and the voice of reason, but in this situation, he's far from controlled - he's huge, frightening, out of control, and determined to decimate anyone or anything endangering his newly found Bloodmate. Like his employer Victor, Flint is also an ancient vampire, a daywalker, and truly a force to be reckoned with, especially now that he's found his Bloodmate and focused solely on protecting her. I was immediately smitten with Flint when he was introduced in the first book as Victor Strong's head of security, personal bodyguard, and best friend. I was so hoping Flint would have a book of his own and was thrilled when Michaels announced she would be releasing his story next, but I knew it would take one very special woman to capture his heart, and Kenzie was perfect. She's a beautiful, selfless, caring, and kindhearted Scottish lass who's lost much but still always ready with a kind word and prayer to the goddess for those in need. Poor Flint, he was so clueless. He had no idea what was happening to him, but my heart broke for him. He and Victor were more like brothers than employer/employee. He was so bereft after Victor left on his honeymoon with Kimber, refusing to allow Flint to come along as his bodyguard, then ordering him to take a forced vacation. The big guy was heartbroken. I felt so bad for the big guy, which brings me to one of the other things I enjoy about Michaels' writing - the way she integrates familiar characters from other books into the current storyline. It makes the story so much more personal for the reader and in Flint, we get to hear from Victor, Kimber, Nellie, and several others from the cast in Michaels' first book, including werewolf Jana Noskova and vampire Clarence Collins from The Directive, plus we also get to meet some new players that I hope we'll be hearing much more about including Quinn Alexander, an intriguing new Scottish vampire. And guess what - Michaels will be releasing his story in April! Woo-hoo! I can hardly wait!
Did I like this book? Yes, I loved it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain explicit language, sex, and graphic violence. Flint is one scary dude with his blades and daggers but he still makes my little old heart go pittypat! But FYI, I hope you don't have a weak stomach because Flint is determined to exact his revenge on the men who harmed his Bloodmate and believe me, it isn't pretty. Flint is most certainly a lover and a fighter! lol... Was it perfect? No, but it was perfect for me! There were a few little boo-boos, but nothing that distracted from the story. Wil I read this author again? Of course! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my seat, white-knuckling my ereader, screaming at the top of my lungs, and shaking my fists in anger with my heart fluttering wildly in my chest as the pages flew as quickly as the time- and loved every single minute! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

This is Flint and Kenzie's story . Flint is looking for some action and decides the club is the place to go for it . Although he usually drinks bagged blood he feels the need to feed from a live source and of course enjoy his time while doing so ! Even he knows this is not the norm for himself . He is snappy with others that work there and figures that his problem is that it is because he is alone without Victor for the first time in years . While on his way to take a vaca when landing he starts to feel out of control without any true reason . Thinking that maybe he had dreamed about feeding last night he thinks that his hunger and out of control feelings are due to that . But once he looks upon a castle he calms down and knows deep inside that he has to find something there . Kenzie is dreaming about a dark stranger who leaves her feeling breathless and bereft . Thanks to her gran she decides to follow what her magic tells her and to trust that the Goddess knows who is best for her . She heads toward the castle knowing that she will meet him soon . But trouble is stalking her and she gets hurt but Flint is there in time to keep her safe and to get her help but he knows a wicked battle is coming . Man the battle was wicked and the way Flint , Victor , Quinn , Ace and Talon fought ??!! Wow this book is so engrossing and will grab you at the first page all the way until the end !! Flint is one of those books that you will read and re-read time again and find something different each time !! This is so well written and STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to EVERYONE !! Thank you A K Michaels for this ARC and it is so outstanding that I just had to leave a review !!

An ancient vampire, Flint isn’t all that enthused about going on a vacation, but a chance encounter while searching for a secretive nightclub shocks Flint to his very core. A damsel in distress needs his help which ends up a horde on their tails and this damsel is one the most elusive and precious of all things in the whole damn universe – his bloodmate. The hunt is on and the battle is fierce only the strong survive a Vampire’s Thirst!
Flint’s vacation turns out to be majorly exciting as Flint finds his bloodmate and brings trouble to the door of his host. The romance in the story is short but very sweet due to Kenzie’s injuries but there is no denying their chemistry and the fact that are made for each other. Flint takes on the sexy role of vengeful protector which gets readers passions revved up and makes them drool with wild abandon over his knife throwing, alpha male prowess.
The plot is fast paced and full of nail biting suspense and pulse pounding excitement as Flint starts off the story in a kind of funk and ends up in a rip roaring battle for his bloodmate. And readers certainly can’t put this, sweet, scorchingly hot and deliciously thrilling story down.

This was a great story, well written, and wonderful characters. There was a great love story, lots of action, some very hot scenes, and a happy ever after that was perfect. Read the entire series, they are all good, but I think Flint and Victor are my favorites.

We are getting Flint's story and oh my goodness what a story he has to tell us.
Per Victor's orders Flint is to take a vacation. He is off to Scotland of all places and Nell decides to tag along at least part of the way. Flint however hasn't been himself and something is wrong. He thinks he knows but it's not confirmed until they are high in the sky going over a castle.
This story is filled with some gruesome action and I mean tons of it.
Flint is in the battle of his life and it's all hands on deck. Reinforcements have been called in. Victor and Kimber show up as well and it's up to Kimber to keep Kenzie safe. You will find out all about Kenzie when you read the story.
I truly enjoyed this story. It gives us just the right amounts of action, suspense and romance.

Flint, just Flint, an ancient vampire. He is feeling out of sorts, and without Victor he decides to go to Scotland.
Flint's story is filled with bloodshed, lots of action (not so much in the bedroom) and drama and it all starts when Flint feels the pull of his bloodmate, Kenzie.
Kenzie McBride, has been having vivid dreams of a dark haired handsome man for some time, she feels his pain from the Thrist and his confusion. She knows he is her fated mate and, with a bit of a vision help from him, Kenzie sets out to find him but gets caught up in a dangerous situation.
I loved reading Flint's story, where he rescues Kenzie and protects her with the help of some very interesting über male characters.
I do hope some of them, like Talon and Jana will get their own books when becoming some vampire's bloodmate.

Flint is an ancient Vampire, whose friend Victor and boss, is happily on his honeymoon. Victor has made arrangements for Flint to take a vacation to Scotland. Before Flint leaves, he starts feeling different and starts to have uncontrollable hunger. He doesn't understand what the heck is wrong. Maybe that's just what he needs, a vacation. Trouble is, it's getting worse and he doesn't know why. He arrives in Scotland and is met by Talon who is supposed to take care of all Flint's needs. Flint says he wants to go to the club Mystique which he was told is a famous spot for supernatural clients. As they get near the club, he picks up a scent and tells Talon he has to follow it. What he finds is a surprise and puts him in such a rage.
Kenzie McBride is a Faery & Healer and has been having these erotic dreams of her dream man. She lives with her Grandmother who is also a healer. She tells her Grandmother what is going on and her Grandmother tells her she has to go to Edinburgh, she'll find her answer there. Unfortunately, some evil has found her. Will Flint be able to save her in time?

Flint is happy for Victor and his new found happiness but he could do with some luck on the girlfriend front himself! He heads to the club looking for some fun, looking for some action and trying to fill up this new found time on his hand whilst Victor is on his extended honeymoon.
He decides to go on a holiday and ends up heading to Scotland! But when he flied over the Edinburgh area on the way to the airport his thirst erupts in full force.

OOOOh this was fab! I loved the big battle scene and the engaging chatter between the characters, all adding to the "real-feel" of the characters even though they are fictional! It's always great when a book is set in Scotland, I'll forgive the fact this was Edinburgh based LOL. Ace and Talon were wonderful additions and I really want to know more about a certain scaryass council woman!

Flint has never felt so alone in his entire life ever since Victor has found his bloodmate and they are traveling around the world for their honeymoon. He was given a vacation to go to Scotland which he does not know what to do on how to spend his trip. An insatiable thirst for blood makes him lose his control over his body as he experiences painful cramps until Flint's interest is captured by Edinburgh castle where something was calling to him. He intends to head towards the place as soon as the plane landed. Kenzie has been dreaming of the man of her dreams and every time she wakes up, she misses him more. Driven by an unknown desire to go to the place, Flint The supporting characters are so great and together they work to protect Kenzie at all costs. I really like Jana who has a fierce, fiesty, strong, and brave with a "bad boss" vibes.
Jana is so fun to be with and I love how the author created her who does not back down from a fight. The story is entertaining to read and the action scenes were well-written. The author has greatly described the details of the combat with precision that reminded me of a slow motion action scene in a movie.
The characters are formidable by fighting together to kill their opponents. Talon is also a great character and a friend which made me curious if he has a story to tell. I cannot believe how I found a great paranormal book where there is no dull scene. I love how Flint and Kenzie has found each other and the HEA epilogue is a perfect ending for their story.

This is a great book; this is the sixth book in the Vampire’s Thirst series and is written by A.K. Michaels. Flint is a very old vampire who is bodyguard for his friend Victor. He has been beside Victor for centuries. Victor has found his bloodmate and they are off on their honeymoon. Victor has told Flint that he is to go on vacation to Scotland and while they are gone and to enjoy his time off. It is hard to enjoy his time off because all of a sudden he has an uncontrollable thirst and doesn’t know what is happening for him. When he lands in Scotland and passes by Edinburgh Castle he feels a pull that he needs to go to find something or someone. The closer he gets to the castle he feels like it is urgent that the gets there to save someone. When he gets closer to the castle he can sense another vampire and shifter and hears a woman being hurt. When he sees the woman he instantly knows that she is his bloodmate. He will do anything to protect Kenzie from the men who want to sell her to the highest bidder. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.

I am so happy Flint got his own story. Flint is feeling adrift since his best friend and boss found his bloodmate. He is experiencing a hunger like he had never had before and nothing is stopping it. Forced to go on vacation he doesn't want in Scotland, he hopes to stir up some trouble and figure out why he is not himself. Kenzie has been dreaming of the same man for some time, she feels his pain and confusion. Knowing that he is hers , she sets out to find him ending up placing herself in danger. I loved this story, Flint was a little slow in not realizing the same signs that Victor went through but he pulls it together. I found the supporting characters amazing and I hope some of them get a story for themselves. This storyline was a bit different then the others as our main female character Kenzie spent a large portion unconscious and it focused around Flint keeping her safe. Action, drama, humor and some interesting chest thumping males make this a great story. Easy to read, fast paced and very entertaining. I can't wait for the next ne.

Flint is the bodyguard for his friend Victor but when Victor finds his bloodmate and sets off on honeymoon Flint is pushed to go on a holiday to Scotland but when he gets a strange feeling when flying over Edinburgh Castle he finds he is in danger of losing control for blood from mortals so seeks out the Mystique nightclub to try and sate his blood thirst. However he is shocked when he encounters Kenzie McBride and saves her from attack only to have a villain and his people bent on getting her back. However Kenzie is beautiful, injured and shockingly his Bloodmate so he will fight to the death to keep her safe from anyone and anything.
Wow - drama, danger and lots of action in this story of how Flint met his bloodmate Kenzie. Not so much romance in this story but it was all danger and doing what vampires and werewolves do best. I love the way the characters from previous stories are woven into this story so that you already knew the people in this one. Well written and I could feel the frustration and anger being felt by Flint through all of the drama.

Well I know I have said it a lot but wow this series is amazing.. both with the steamy romance to the action filled drama. I was taken away by Grey story and then Adrian stole my heart but Flint has total stolen my soul.. lol yes it’s that great. I was hoping there would be a story for Flint..not because he was in the other story but because he deserved one. As in all the other books the way the vampire knows his blood ate is close is the thirst. But for Flint it was different he got the thirst from dreams of his mate... man where they some strong dreams.. Kenzie is a Scottish fairy who has gone through some stuff especially loses her parents so goes to her grandmothers for some refuge.. but somehow finds trouble and more importantly her One. Flint will stop at nothing to keep his blood mate safe from one and all... seriously that kind of passion and fierce dedication is amazing. Can not wait for what’s to come..

These stories are so good. Flint is Victors right-hand man/ friend/ bodyguard. When Victor finds his bloodmate and leaves on his honeymoon Flint is lost. All those years they have never been apart. He goes on a vacation, that he didn't want to, to Scotland. There as he's flying over Edinburgh castle he's drawn to that area but doesn't know why. Kenzie a damsel in distress needs help..he drawn to her like metal to a magnet! She was in that area because she knows her mate is a Vampire and s she's going to meet him there. When Flint feels her presence he knows it's his bloodmate. He rescues her from some very bad people who are coming to take her back so they can sell her. No way is Flint going to let that happen! Great storyline and better characters. Just like the rest of the Vampire Thirst stories it's a must read!

April 7, 2020I thoroughly enjoyed this book, as a person who reads everything that is put in front of her and is an avid lover of anything science fiction, this love story, this book was, wonderful, as an Ancient Vampire, Flint, is oozing sex appeal, strength, and vulnerabilities. His Bloodmate Kenzie, a part Faery, has danger heading her way. I read victors book and was drawn to Flint telling myself that he should have a book too and to my great surprise while searching the author I found that not only did he have a story there were others. I was excited that Flint was getting just that.
This book was as I expected, full of twists, turns, and action. There is never a dull moment with their characters. I look forward to reading all books written by A. K. Michaels, it's a good read. and I thoroughly recommend this book and every other book written by this author.

Victor has made arrangements for Flint to vacation in Scotland while he's away, and Flint fights the idea until he gets a glimpse of the castle from the air on their approach to Edinburgh and feels something drawing him there. Well this book definitely starts with an attention grabbing scene, HOT !
The descriptive way with which this story is written from Flints action of feeding to the taste of the whisky has you hanging on every word and experiencing the flavours as though it’s you.
when Flint faces danger in the protection of his bloodmate, be warned, this Vamp is even more vicious with knives than he is with fangs !
Another fantastic addition to this series combining danger, excitement and an exceptionally rare form of mate that leaves you wishing you could experience that depth of love and devotion.

When your bloodmate is in danger you will go to any length to free her and make her yours. This is what a true vampire does. The rage and contol is a part of him and his name is Flint. This is the latest sizzler from author extraordinaire A.K.Michaels. Her newest character is most probably the hardest and the most badass of all. "Going on vacation" has never been more of an understatement than now, not when the thirst hits you. Great book, I recommend this series to anyone out there who loves vamps as much as I do! Great story lines and incredible characters. A.K.Michaels is never a disappointment.

Second book in the vampire thirst series. Victor is off on his honeymoon. So what is wrong with Flint? Even though he has seen the symptoms before he would acknowledge what it means. Kenzie has been having dreams for a man she knows she must find. It is breaking her heart not to be near him. So one trip to the UK will change Flint’s whole life. Too bad there are some really bad paranormals out there that can’t help to hurt others. The one thing I loved the most about this story was how friends pulled together for Flint. There was nothing they wouldn’t do to help him. Things do get dangerous and death will definitely be around the corner for some.

Loved it!!!
OMG!!!! If it wasn't for my crazy life this book would definitely have been finished within 2 hours. I was hooked from the get go, especially since I had been hoping for there to be a story about Flint. He captured my heart from the start and his beautiful and loving bloodmate, Kenzie, is just adorable. Their love was strong and unbreakable from the start. A true love every woman wishes for. I will definitely be rereading this book many more times. Ava is one of the most talented writers I've ever been lucky enough to read, she never disappoints!!!!

These Vampire Thirst books keep getting better and better. They get so hot I have to cook off my kindle every once in awhile. This book had everything you could want in a book. Action, suspense, love, and even a little torture. Of course you have to read to discover those.
One minute you will be laughing at the way a little old lady gets onto Flint then you will be tearing up over Kenzie's story. You will love this book and if you haven't read the others you should.
