Our heroine is a teacher's assistance to a professor with serious control issues.
There is an instant attraction between our couple, but our heroine was not quite prepared for his style of control. She struggles against it, but her desire makes it a losing battle.
The first thing that struck me was the irony of an ethics professor taking liberties with his assistant, in his office no less. Everything is consensual, but the ethics are still rather murky at best.
Beyond that, the book was well written and easy to read. Our heroine can't seem to decide between being annoyed with his games and getting what she knows she wants, but the professor solves that problem for her, as would be expected of a dom. The resulting action is hot and steamy, and there is plenty of it to keep one entertained.
Highly enjoyable and recommended.

This was my intro to this author's work and I must say that I'm impressed by the ease and flow between scenes. The first thing to catch my attention was the cover. It's sexy and sensual without being over the top. It also sets the scene for what you find inside.
This meets all the criteria for your typical hot teacher-student relationship. Add in some dominance to the equation and it elevates the typical to a whole new level. Now we're going from hot to the steamy territory. I loved her romantic dilemma... does she give the nice guy who obviously likes her a real chance? Or does she give in to the forbidden relationship with the hot professor with a penchant for domination?

I will say the first thing that drew me in was the cover as it’s rather sexy and inviting. Anjalee Scott is a new auther to me and so I thought let’s give her a go. I am so glad I did as I absolutely loved reading this book. This is a hot teacher student romance but has so much more going for it. She is not his student so the subject may be taboo but it’s so worth it. I look forward to reading more of Anjalee’s work.

A hot steamy story. Dylan is a professor at the college Samantha is about to graduate from. To earn money she takes a job as his assistant. The attraction is instantaneous. Masquerade is a book that screams hot unadulterated sinfully steamy sex. Samantha Rice is a college student on the verge of getting her degree when she is assigned to work with professor Dylan Baldwin who is absolutely drips sex personified. Samantha life changes as she knows it when he takes her into the world of BDSM. Masquerade is so steamy I had to blast my air conditioner on high to read it. This was an interesting story. It was hot and steamy involving a professor and his student. A bit of a taboo since everyone knows that's a big no-no. Who cares though since it was a story pulled from the author's imagination. And what an imagination it was. He is very dominant. She might not be prepared for what he has in mind. And the premise that an ethics professor decides that his student should be his submissive...that's very interesting.

This was a smoking hot read Samantha is a college student and Dylan is a professor there when they start to work together thing turn hot and steamy really quickly.
