Enjoyed the beginning but the end had a conflict that seemed unnecessary. Holiday theme was an afterthought.

Jade and Nixon were great together.
Nixon was battling some issues with his father.
I thought that Julia was going to be a problem but the problem was Alyssa Nixon's ex fiance' and one of Jade's best friends from college. Neither Jade nor Nixon nor Alyssa knew there was a common factor between the 3 and that was that was Alyssa. Alyssa was a only child just a Nixon. Alyssa came from money, Jade's family made their money and Nixon was making his. Alyssa was a spoiled brat and wanted every and was jealous of Jade.

All is fair in love in war. Jade didn't know that Nixon was Alyssa's ex fiance' she didn't know that they even knew each other. Alyssa wanted Jade to walk away from Nixon because he would hurt her just as he had hurt her.

This was a great love story about friends, family and family getting back together.

NIxon Gaines and Jade Chandler meet in a mentor program. He is part of a huge conglomerate and she runs her family's foundation. There are immediate sparks but both hold back for their own reasons. Then they stop holding back. And there is so, much, drama (ex-girlfriend is her best friend, his company wants him to spy, her dad hates him) each with dozens of pages of set up and then solved in a half page. If any one of the things had been picked, drawn out, and applied a little better, I would have liked this book more. Ms. Night seems like an excellent author and I have a feeling I'd enjoy others of her better than this.

Jade and Nixon's love story was an excellent way to end the "Chandler" series!! Both were hard workers that couldn't resist one another, especially when love stepped in. It didn't matter that Nixon worked for Wakeman Foods and that the owner of that company wanted to use Nixon to take over Chandler Foods...and it didn't even matter when Alyssa, one of Jade's best friend from college/Nixon's ex-fiancé came back on the scene because both Jade and Nixon were only about building a solid relationship! Hats off to a well written love story!

This final Chandler sibling story was a great ending to series. The cat and mouse game Jade & Nixon played was awesome and when they finally ran to each other they was magic. There chemistry set the pages on fire. I would have loved to see a wedding but maybe we’ll get it if Jade’s cousin/best friend Kendall gets her story.

Meant to be

Jade and Nixon met by chance as part of a leadership training program. Neither of them knowing how much their lives would intersect. This was a wonderful read about friendship and love and how despite external forces trying to sabotage a relationship, one is possible.

You really out did yourself writing this book. Jade is truly a loyal friend to even consider Alyssa feelings regarding Nixon. Nixon and Jade are great couple and Alyssa is just crazy.

This was a good book in the Chandler series. This story revolved around Jade Chandler and the guy she suspects is trying to take her family's company, Nixon Gaines. This is an enjoyable holiday read.
