Shadow Spy is packed full of the exciting, hold on to your seat action that I've come to expect from this author. This one picks up with Drake missing and Charlie determined to find him. Things are further complicated by adversaries attacking in hopes of laying hands on the mysterious Srimtar. We do get some answers about Drake's background and the secrets he's kept for so long, and the story has plenty of twists to keep your head spinning. This being the second book in the trilogy, I expected a cliffhanger, but WOW - this is one of those that had me frantically looking for even one more page of this tale and has left me chomping at the bit for the next part of Charlie and Drake's story. With terrific characters and a fascinating world, this author has become one of my go-to urban fantasy favorites.

Though there's a few editorial/continuity flaws, this is a good second piece of the story. You're drawn in to the plot quickly as Charlie searches for Drake. Her growing powers and how she took his spot in Alliance meetings was a bit rushed and the first fight scene felt a bit rushed too.

But the mystery grows on what is Charlie as well as why Drake's brother summoned him home.

The epilogue pulls you into being book three to figure out just what kinda cluster did she really get herself into?

As a second book in the trilogy this one is as good as the first if not better. Intrigue, Suspense, and breath holding action help to further the storyline and build on the first book. The bond between Charlie and Drake strengthens and we learn some secrets of their past. I didn’t want to put this one down and am looking forward to the final book.

Amazing

It’s hard to say anything else when a series keeps you guessing and wanting more. Drake and Charlie are great but what will happen next? Fabulous plot, a definite must read.

This book was intense! The twists and turns had me reeling. Secrets kept and secrets revealed. Charlie and Drakon (Drake) are awesome.
The reveal and cliffhanger leaves you breathless!
