I read this book in one day, I just couldn't put it down.

This is a story of an over protective mother who's son is taken when walking into the mall.

How life goes on for his best friend and girl friend during that time and what happens when he is found.

Riveting!!!

The entire Chop! Chop! series is fascinating. And although this book is a stand-alone story, it also brings to closure the question “what became of Amber?”, and brings to light Paul’s backstory. Extremely well written, edge-of-your-seat storytelling. And the Gospel message, as well as the assurance of God’s love, peace, and grace through all of life’s situations woven into the story, makes it one of the best I have read in a long time. L. N. Cronk and Jenn Faulk are not afraid to tackle a tough storyline or difficult subject matter. The incident in this book is an all-too-common occurrence, and one that necessarily begs to be prayed about often. Take the time to read this book, and be challenged in your faith, as well as enjoying the book to the point of losing sleep because you can’t put it down. I know I did!!!

This was a very slow starting book for me, with it not grabbing my interest until about the 40% mark. And had I not been a devoted L. N. Cronk fan, I am certain that I would have given up on it. With that said, I realize that my age may have something to do with this being an eh book for me.

Additionally, a book has to really grab me for me to like stories that switch back and forth between the individual who is speaking because, generally, I think a book is more interesting when it isn't written in first person or from one person's point of view. I'm not sure what else to say without divulging possible spoilers, but the story just didn't grab me like I wanted it to and I hate saying that.

A great read!I'm

Once I started this story I had trouble putting it down to go do things I needed to do. As is my pattern, I will return to the Cup Chop books(which I loved) to find the connection. I have always read a lot of books but since I got my first tablet I have used as a testing ground to try new authors. When I find authors I really enjoy, I will read those books more than once and then I start searching for paperbacks because I love having the book in my hand. You are now on my search list. Thank you for so many hours of wonderful reading that touch the heart and the mind. They put me in places I have never been.

Great addition to Chop, Chop.

This was a great book. Just when I thought,"Oh no, here it comes", a new twist would develop. There were only a few grammatical errors, better than some books I've read.
My only problem with it was the part of how Paul got taken. I mean, it was at a mall, lots of people everywhere. Surely he yelled or at least cried out in pain when he was tazed. Someone surely would have noticed. Also, there wasn't much info from the mall security covered. Only that it was a gray car, no model or possibly a license plate number (TV cops shows always have at least a partial or state). Looking forward to the next book.

Fantastic addition to the Chop, Chop Series

Written with heartfelt sincerity, the characters are well developed, the story one to relate to, and well worth your time. It stands alone from the series well -but it’s a nice “aha” at the end when the tie in to Chop, Chop makes itself known. I will always read L.N. Cronk for their heart and their message of God’s faithfulness. Well done!

Taken

This writing duo has put out another amazing book. Their writing style makes the story flow so easily and the suspense makes the pages turn quickly. The sweet romance makes the heart melt. This book tackled a tough subject and it was handled with such grace and tenderness. Don't worry. It has a happy ending.

I love the Chop, Chop Series and Taken does not disappoint. It makes me want to start the entire series again, which I intend to do. This story! This author! She elicits emotions from laugh out loud funny to heartbreaking sobs. Absolutely incredible story telling.

Missing

This book will make you look at life and what it really means to be a Christian. It begins with older teens and the decisions they face, falling in love and loss. It is an excellent book that will keep you engaged and turning pages long into the night.

Beautiful story!

Jack is my favorite character. He’s quirky, witty, and smart. Jack is a wonderful example of how God transforms us. Taken also highlights the power of prayer and God’s timing.

Wow! This book is amazing! The plot twists are epic! The various meanings of the title will blow your mind! Why are not more people reading this awesome book??!! And because it ties in at the end with the Chop, Chop series, and it had been awhile since I read that, I had to go back and read most of it again. This really is a great book.

Another great book

This is the ninth book of the Chip Chip series I've read. I've loved them all. The characters are real, the plot holds one's attention.

Wow, this book was intense. I was nervous about how it was going to end. But 'bravo authors'- you wound it all up wonderfully and realistically. I was used to reading Jenn Faulk's books but this one made me a little more anxious.
