From one book to another the heroines are just plain stupid. It is just me or is there a epidemic of stupid heroines all of the sudden? Or am I just noticing this now? Maybe I'm the stupid one.?

Im so tired of this. I'm contemplating going on a break without reading books.

I'll start with things that I liked.
~heroine's son.
~heroine's mother.
~Molly and Clint. Awesome friends.
~Den. The man she went on a couple of dates with. This man should have been the hero instead of that jerk.
What else? 🤔
For the life of me I can't think what else I liked about this book.
Btw I didn't not find anything funny about this book.

~Hero.
~Heroine's clumsiness especially in front of the so called hero.
~heroine's mumbling in front of hot men. Yes that's right she becomes a mumbling idiot when she sees a hot man. 🙄
~Hero is an ass. Who would find this man appealing? Not me.
He calls her lacking. Yep he used that word, a word that her husband called her all the time.
~Embarrassing situations... Heroine's falls on her ass and shows to everyone her underwear including to the hero's family and friends.
~Heroine's goes to the bathroom without noticing that it's occupied with a naked man (hero) and she's mumbling, thinking how she wants to give him a bj, how she wants to kiss his d*ck. Did I find this cute? Nah I did NOT.
~Heroine acted like a damn teenager.
~Did I mention the hero. An ass. He wanted to fired her because she was a mother working in one of his sex shops. Discrimination at it's finest.
~How original. Bad ex husband who slept with the heroine's sister. 🙄
~After Hero said that the heroine moved his world when he met her and that he fell for her at first sight, he took a woman to dinner with his friends and family. A dinner where his sister Molly was getting engaged with Clint. A dinner where the heroine made an ass of herself.

A good entertaining re-read.
I liked both MCs - Adalyn (Addy) Sage and Vice Salvatore. Addy's son and mum really amused. Some of Addy's clumsiness made me roll my eyes, I remember being really amused the first time but not so much this time around.
Addy's idiot ex needed a kick as did her sister.
I would have liked more sizzle and spark.

A As a single mom, Adalyn Sage, focuses on her son and trying to build her business. However she needs income coming in and works at an adult store part time, that is where she meets Vice Salvatore. She has no idea who he is but when she fumbles a bit and finds out he is her boss things change. Vice decides to insert himself into Adalyn's life but little does Adalyn know that Vice wants Adalyn as his. Can he convince the easily distracted woman that he is the one for her?
This was a deliciously fun read. I thought Adalyn was a hoot from the very beginning to a horrible blind date to her interactions with her son and Vice. Highly entertaining and a light read for the weekend.

Really good
I really enjoyed this one. Maybe not as much as the first one, probably because I didn't like the situation between the ex-husband and Addy's sister, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Vice and Addy meet in one of Vice's sex stores which he owns and Addy works. They do not hit it off. As it turns out Addy is friends with Vice's younger stepsister and ends up getting a job at his office instead which helps because she has a teenage son who doesn't know she works at a sex store and that knowledge may hurt him at school. Vice is great with Addy's son which is always a plus in my book!

And she does it again. Seriously this author can do no wrong in my books. Major feel good factor vibes.
I LOVED this story. I just knew Vice's book was going to be a good un but this defied all expectations.
Vice is that brooding gruff talk drink of alpha manliness that we all want a sip(gulp) of. At first he comes across as a class A turd. But!, slowly we get to see that sweet amused sexy side that is pure sin in all the best ways. He is the definition of the perfect book boyfriend. Oh my ovaries! How sweet was he with Drew?!. Gosh he just had me in all kinds of twisted knots with his sweetness.
Addy, sweet Addy. That lady is a hot mess in all the best ways. I want to be her best bud, I want girls nights and crazyness with her. A single momma who's just trying to make it, doing the best she can to provide for her son. She's relatable, sweet, clumsy and downright adorable. She's got a fire in her belly so do not underestimate her sweet because lord she has crazy to. I adored her.
I love a good romcom but Lila is setting the bar high. This story is seamlessly written to perfection with a little of everything. A boat loads of crazy characters getting up to all kinds of dysfunctional shenanigans that will have you roaring with laughter. It has so much sweet you'll feel like you're ovaries are about to spontaneously combust. The balance is perfect in this story and while things get crazy it still draws you in making you believe every moment of it. The chemistry is of the charts palpable, I was bitting at the bit for them to get down with the jig and get their bedtime tango on. It was worth the wait.
I devoured this story. I even tried to prolong the inevitable because I knew once it finished I'd mourn the loss. I'm gutted because honestly it's the type of story that makes you feel good. I laughed hard, feel in love with the characters and rooted for their HEA. I wasn't disappointed once through it and now I just want more.
I can't wait for what's next!.

This h acted like she was in 6th grade. There were a lot of stupid incidents that were supposed to make the h seem like a loveable klutz. She split her dress; bent down in a different dress and showed her underwear; didn't realize her boss was in the shower when she used the bathroom at a friend's house, then gaped at his penis, fell down at least once, etc.
There were a bunch of hangarounds from previous books and they took up way too much time.
The H's interest in her wasn't convincing and he was a sleaze anyway.
I hate to say this, but this was truly a terrible, contrived, lazy book.

Making Sense by Lila Rose
Standalone, Second in a Related Series. Romantic Comedy.
As soon as I saw a book with a chubby older heroine, I grabbed it. I enjoy a book with characters I can truly relate to so I was super excited for Making Sense by Lila Rose . First, heads up: there are some Australian spelling and grammar. Not a lot, but when you see the word “smelt” it’s not a typo :) Second, this was a fun, sexy, easy read that kept me smiling throughout.
Adalyn Sage was a single mom with a 9 year old boy. She has been on some disastrous dates, like the guy with a huge booger, and one that said this to her:
“You won’t get anyone better than me with the extra weight you carry around.”
Grrr….I want to punch that guy. But then, even more, I REALLY wanted to hit Adalyn’s boss when he came into the adult store she worked at (and loved—she knows her products!) and was a total dick to her. Unfortunately, he also turned out to be her best friend’s brother, who she had never met in person before, so she had to see him again. And the first time she does, she saw a hell of a lot of him! ::snickers::
Adalyn was extremely awkward around good looking men, so she certainly didn’t make the best impression on him at first—but he still wanted her, and acted like a dick to prove it. Once he realized she was a mom, he fired her! He didn’t think it appropriate for a mom to work at an adult store, so he offered her an office job as his assistant. It was going to be hard to get over my major dislike for Vice Salvatore.
“I would need all the luck in the world to get through my first day of being around Vice Salvatore for five and a half hours. I may also need to take a change of panties, some earmuffs, and boxing gloves, or just a sharp knife. Then a body bag for when he peeves me off and I kill him. God, what was he thinking? And what was I thinking by agreeing?”
Vice was like a little boy who likes a girl and pulls her braids. But when you start to realize he just wants to take care of her and her son, it’s hard to hold a grudge, and her son needed a man in his life!
“My son, my sweet boy, who didn’t know I had a crush and also disliked my boss—well, except for his penis—had just invited him along to watch basketball. I wanted to cry in frustration.”
This was a fun read. It didn’t totally wow me, but I enjoyed the read and definitely laughed, smiled and swooned.
Likes:
•I love an older, curvy heroine.
•I love a single mom story when the man falls for the kid as much as the mom.
•I laughed out loud a few times.
•The sex was pretty hot!
Dislikes:
•She was sometimes just a little too ditsy and young-seeming.
•It seemed everyone wanted her, and her weight never seemed to be a factor except for that one comment.
•It took a while to get over my dislike for the hero.
The Down and Dirty:
I absolutely love that Lila Rose wrote a story about an older overweight single mom finding love. It was a fun and sexy read. I do find that my noticing the Australian words took me out of the story a bit and I had a little trouble getting over my dislike for the hero at first, but overall it was a solid read that I enjoyed start to finish.
Rating: 3.75-4 Stars, 4.25 Heat

Laugh-out-loud rom com, with totally ridiculous moments that made me snort-giggle, a good choice of read to combat lockdown cabin fever. It's a slow burn and there's not much sex in it, mostly sexual tension between the MCs and the horny fantasies in the heroine's head. The story is mostly seen through the heroine's pov although occassionally we get to see the MMC's pov as well.
I liked much more the first book in the series, Making Changes, but this one is also a fairly light and funny read.
Recommended if you need a touch of humor in your life without complications or dramas.

I'm such a huge fan of Lila Rose she writes strong / funny heroines and swoony heroes add in that we get an amazing story line that you can't stop reading till you reach the very end . Loved the way Adalyn and Vice meet it was such a funny and awkward way then when they run into one another it just kept getting better and better . Adalyn is super funny , beautiful , talented , and sassy love the way she is with her son and mother . Vice comes a crossed as a mean guy but once we get to know him more while also falling for him he becomes swoony with the way he not only wants the heroine in his life but her son and mother plus this man is one smooth talker in and out of the bedroom . These two shared off the charts chemistry with hilarious foreplay banter , the steamy scenes will have you need of a cold shower . One click Making sense As soon as possible.

Very hijinx-y. I did not appreciate the clumsy heroine trope where she tripped and her dress was ripped open and her undies were exposed to everyone in a restaurant.
A disappointment when one of my fave books (Hear Me Out) is by this author.

I loved this book and these characters. There was a point in this story that I was quietly reading at midnight and burst out laughing. I couldn’t stop. I almost woke the whole house up.

I'm again struggling here to find words, that will do justice to this story. If you read Making Changes, you may guess a bit what you are in for. And if you haven't, you don't need to read it, before this. Though, I do recommend to start there. Not only because it's fabulous and hilarious book, but you want to read it anyway at the end, because here you will meet main characters from that book and you will get curious. Which was nice to meet and see how they are doing, btw.
Anyway. I enjoyed this one. It was crazy, hilarious and entertaining. Though, sometimes I wasn't sure if I wanted to laugh or role my eyes and shake my head at Adalyn. Her obsession with Vice... Honestly, I don't think there is another word to decribe how she was around him. Scratch that. Vice wouldn't be around and Adalyn would still be obsessing over him. Her mind would always go into the gutter, even though you would think there's no way to find anything dirty in discussions, or in the situations. Lol. Okay, Okay. The man is wonderful and sexy and fabulous and... Hmmm... Maybe I could understand a bit Adalyns obsession. Lol.
Vice was amazing. I'm glad that there is his POV. I love to be in H head. And what I 'saw' in Vice was just... The man is dreamy. So worth adding to your bookboyfriend list.

Based on Adalyn Sage and Vice Salvatore’s first interaction and his opinion on what he finds ‘lacking’ with Adalyn, I had no idea how Lila Rose would get me to like the broody jackass. Like Adalyn, I was confused by Vice’s hot and cold treatment of her, and how that equated into Vice having feelings for Adalyn since readers’ first impression of Vice wasn’t one that seemed to direct readers to that realization or to the fact that he was likable in the least.
I’m glad that Rose provided readers with insight into Vice’s true feelings and the fact that readers get his perspective at pivotal times helps to not want to throat punch him, but I’ll admit…it took me a bit to get past his initial treatment; I needed Vice to prove himself, and eventually, I grew to appreciate what he did for not only Adalyn but her 9 year old son, Drew, as well.
I adored Adalyn from the start. For a 37 year old divorcee, I love that she feels comfortable in her own skin, and while her ex’s behavior could have broke her in a number of ways, especially his cheating and his comments about her weight, she fights through the pain and focuses on her son and herself, which illustrates just how strong of a woman she is.
Adalyn is a heroine who a lot of readers will relate to, but I do have to say, that some might find her a bit annoying due to the way she reacts like a befuddled girl around good looking men. But to me, Adalyn is adorable in her awkwardness…in her flustered inner monologues…in her moments of muttering and rambling. Adalyn is also a great mom and person who genuinely cares for people and she deserves every happiness in life, and for some reason, even with Vice’s initial mistreatment, he becomes what she wants and Vice takes the steps to prove the man he truly is and what he truly wants with Adalyn.
Making Sense is a funny and sweet story with a bit of steam once Adalyn and Vice get on the same page. Adalyn is a realistic heroine whose humorous idiosyncrasies and the laugh out loud situations she finds herself in makes for entertaining scenes and because there really isn’t any external drama, readers can focus on Adalyn finally finding a man who loves her for who she is, which is what every woman deserves!

4.5 SMOOCHES!
I loved Lila Rose's first romantic comedy, Making Changes, so I was excited to get my hands on Making Sense. I was truly impressed with her ability to shift gears from the MC romances that she's known for into a totally different trope. She did an amazing job, and she's a natural. This series, while all standalones, center on a group of friends, and although it is not necessary to read Making Changes before Making Sense, you really don't want to miss that story-it was fantastic.
Like Making Changes, Making Sense features a curvy heroine. A single mom in her late thirties, Addy is divorced from her cheating ex-husband and is trying to jumpstart her jewelry business while also working a side job as a clerk in an adult store. Vice Salvatore is the owner of the store where she works, and their first meeting, at least for Addy, did not go well. For Vice, however, it was an altogether different experience.
Vice fell hard and fast for Addy, and he made moves to put her in his orbit after that meeting. Addy was hilarious with her nervous flustering in the presence of this sexy man. While she is happy with where she is in her life, and she's comfortable in her own skin, she has a bit of trouble, at least at first, grasping the concept that Vice could be interested in her. He does a great job convincing her of his interest, and these two made a solid, loving couple that it was easy to root for once she got over that hump. One of the things I loved most about this couple was lack of external drama and the maturity with which they handled the problems that did arise. I really liked how they dealt with everything together instead of turning on each other.
Lila Rose has done it again with another fabulous romantic comedy. I smiled from ear-to-ear, I swooned, I blushed, and I loved every single word of Making Sense! I love this group of friends, I love these romances, and I love the humor she builds into these stories. Whether you're new to this author or a fan of her MC romances, her romantic comedies are absolutely not to be missed. Making Sense by Lila Rose gets 4.5 smooches from me!

I loved Lila Rose's first romantic comedy, Making Changes, so I was excited to get my hands on Making Sense. I was truly impressed with her ability to shift gears from the MC romances that she's known for into a totally different trope. She did an amazing job, and she's a natural. This series, while all standalones, center on a group of friends, and although it is not necessary to read Making Changes before Making Sense, you really don't want to miss that story-it was fantastic.
Like Making Changes, Making Sense features a curvy heroine. A single mom in her late thirties, Addy is divorced from her cheating ex-husband and is trying to jumpstart her jewelry business while also working a side job as a clerk in an adult store. Vice Salvatore is the owner of the store where she works, and their first meeting, at least for Addy, did not go well. For Vice, however, it was an altogether different experience.
Vice fell hard and fast for Addy, and he made moves to put her in his orbit after that meeting. Addy was hilarious with her nervous flustering in the presence of this sexy man. While she is happy with where she is in her life, and she's comfortable in her own skin, she has a bit of trouble, at least at first, grasping the concept that Vice could be interested in her. He does a great job convincing her of his interest, and these two made a solid, loving couple that it was easy to root for once she got over that hump. One of the things I loved most about this couple was lack of external drama and the maturity with which they handled the problems that did arise. I really liked how they dealt with everything together instead of turning on each other.
Lila Rose has done it again with another fabulous romantic comedy. I smiled from ear-to-ear, I swooned, I blushed, and I loved every single word of Making Sense! I love this group of friends, I love these romances, and I love the humor she builds into these stories. Whether you're new to this author or a fan of her MC romances, her romantic comedies are absolutely not to be missed. Making Sense by Lila Rose gets 4.5 smooches from me!

When I first picked up the copy of Making Sense that I'd been lucky enough to receive an early copy of, I worried that I may not find it as funny or heartwarming as Making Changes was to me, but luckily, my worries were completely unfounded.
If anything, I fell more in love with the characters in Making Sense then I did in the first book and I laughed more while reading this book then I did the previous one.

Oh my word, I am still LOL...
If you haven't read a Lila Rose book before then you are Seriously Missing out. I can't even express the way I feel about this lady's books. If you don't like MC books then I suggest you give her ROMCOM books a try, you will feaking not be disappointed.
Adalyn is a divorced women who is just trying to make a living for herself and her son. While she's getting her own business up and running, she is working in a sex shop part time. And that is where she meets Vice, who she didn't know is actually the owner of the store. Immediately she is attracted to him and she kind of gets tongue tied talking to him. But when he acts like a total douche she can't help but get all sassy with him. From that point Vice can't help but be attracted to this stubborn sexy sassy women.
But because of Adalyn's past and being hurt by her ex she can't believe that someone like Vice would be interested in her. But Vice doesn't give up on her and when he starts pursuing her its a journey of laughter, fun, emotions, swooning moments that will have you on the edge of your seat LOL and waiting for their happily ever after

The same characters different story.
• A stupid weak heroine who's gotten shy and melted in front of the hero every damm time.
Why authors think a weak heroines are attractive is beyond me.
• Ott alpha hero. Controlling duchesne.
•Similarity to Kristen Ashley's writing style.
• I quit in 85% and still they just kissed. Minimal sexy times. I hate this kind of stories with minimum to nothing sex scenes. What? are we in the 1800 century?! Sex is important to the development of the relationship between the main couple. IMO.

I'm reluctant about that one star because I truly didn't like this book. I really wanted to. I know, it seems like I've used that phrase a lot in my GR reviews lately but how else do I express my disappointment in a book for which I had high hopes?
Maybe one day I'll come back and give more detail of all the things that irritated me (the silly hero, the saccharine sweet storyline, all the various too-perfect-to-be-believed characters, and scenarios) but for now, suffice it to say I'm reluctant to read anything else by this author.

I don't know why but I always forget how much I love Lila Rose's RomComs. I mean, I know I love her MC books something crazy, but her romcoms are just as good with a huge dose as hilarity thrown in for good measure.
Adalyn Sage is HILARIOUS!!! I adored her. And Vice Salvatore, OH MY!!!! Can a man be any more perfect? I don't think so!!!

3,5 stars. I enjoyed the story and since it's the first time I read from this author, now I'm intrigued to read more. The story's plot is pretty classic but I liked it anyway. Though I was hoping for more a$$ kicking from the heroine at her evil sister, overall it's a good book.

Making Sense follows Adalyn Sage, a 37 year old single mother since her divorce. She is looking to start dating again but isn't having much luck. After taking a co-worker's night shift Adalyn meets Vice Salvator, the owner of the store. As can be expected an unlikely romance between the two begins.
I enjoyed the story and thought the romance was really cute. It was interesting seeing the progression between Adalyn and Vice from the time they met up until the end of their story. Adalyn is extremely awkward around men she finds attractive. This lead to hilarious moments of Adalyn rambling about whatever she's thinking about at the moment. While at times I felt like their relationship moved a little fast, for the most part I didn't really mind. Making Sense was a fun, and at times, steamy romance story that had me swooning with Adalyn.

I try as much as possible not to judge a book by its cover, but then, I saw the lady on Lila Rose's "Making Sense," and I thought, "okay, I need this one!"
I needed a good laugh when I started this book (the author's new to me), and I really, really, REALLY wanted to like it. Turns out: that's not the case. Please don't get me wrong, though. It was okay. It's not the greatest romance novel ever written, but it's not the worst, either. I just thought that the story was in staccato the whole time; it wasn't very seamless in the story-telling. It kinda went like this: scene one - hero meets heroine in an adult store he owns. He falls in love. She falls in lust.... scene two - he moves her into an EA position in his other business.... scene three - they fall in love... scene four - heroine's son falls in insta-love, too, with the hero.... scene four - heroine's bitch-sister and ex-husband try to steal her son away from her.... scene five - hero saves the day and reveals he's let go of his adult store and porn businesses.... scene six - HEA unlocked.
Ya know what I mean? The story's not original, sure, but I thought it coulda been told better. Thirty-seven year-old heroine, Adalyn Rogue Sage (GREAT name, beeteedubs), was a single mom whose ex let her go because he thought she was physically unattractive. That description alone got my blood boiling on her behalf - - - but, she didn't need me up in arms. Every man she met along the way found her to be Britney Spears 2.0, all to which she was *gasp* surprised about. (Insert: rolling my eyes) Her inner monologue consisted of teenage-y words, such as, "SWOON!" every time her hero says or does something that any woman with properly functioning ovaries would fall for. Despite that being said, she was a'ight.
Forty-three year old hero, Vice, was a stone-cold businessman, who's got all the ladies around him panting after him. That scene where Adalyn found him in his office with his waist being embraced by a woman against a wall? I wonder why that woman suddenly disappeared, if she was just a platonic friend. We have his POV written as some chapters in the book. He was deliberately precise about he felt about his heroine, and I suppose that's what I liked about this fictional dude. He was too old for B.S. But, remember how I said I grabbed a copy of this book because I liked its cover? Yeah, Mr. Vice sure as hell does not look like that guy in my head. Cover model looks like Colin Hanks. The way I'm imagining Vice, well, let's just say Hanks is not in the top ten of my choices.
All in all, an interesting read.

This is my second book of Lila Rose and I rate it 1 star. The star was earned by the first kiss shared between the H and h.
I was in search of a romance novel with an alpha possessive hero and a shy curvy heroine. And I gave this novel a try (although the experience with the book ‘Making changes’ by the same author went bad) just because I had bought the book (sob).
Plot:
The h, Adalyn Sage is a shy, curvy, divorced mother working in a sex toy store. One day, she finds herself tongue tied when she has to explain the products available in the store to the handsome H, Vice Salvatore, who happens to be the owner of the store, but is posing as a customer to her. He is attracted to her but he also does not like the fact that she is tongue tied because that showed her as ‘lacking’. The h then finds that the H is her best friend’s stepbrother. The H pursues the h, convinces her they could be good together, all is well until h’s son gets kidnapped. The couple save him, they get back together and happy end (I think).
My Opinion:
Truth be told, I skipped most of the pages and I stopped reading after the kidnap scene. Because I just could not take it any more. I think the plot was unrealistic. I gagged when I read most of the scenes.
Ex-1: When the h pees in the bathroom of her friend’s house, she finds the H (her boss) naked in the shower, right there in front of her and she thinks of touching,stroking and licking his dick because she hadn’t done those things for two years ! YEAH way to go…that desperate huh! I mean who doesn’t lock the door when you are in someone else’s shower? And this scene repeats when the h’s friend’s fiancé is in the shower. Once, its tolerable, twice? Not so much.
Ex-2: The h not just has a serious trouble controlling her mouth but also her bladder! And its not funny at all.
Ex-3: The H has a problem with the h working in his sex toy store because he doesn’t want her son to be affected by her job. But he makes porn, and she working for him as his assistant, and them falling in love with each other wouldn’t affect her son? (APPLAUSE).
Ex-4: There was no need of the kidnap drama.
I liked the anticipation and sexual tension before the first kiss. But that’s just about it. The book definitely didn’t make much sense to me.

I have found my new fave author. Lila Rose's Making series has me hooked.
We've already been introduced to Vice in the first book (Making Changes) I love the introduction of their characters in the sex shop. Adalyn is my people, a hardworking Mum trying to raise her kids with her crazy Mama. The comedy in this had me in fits, I couldn't put the book down.
The 'Don't pee my pants' part
“Sweet, I’d made it to the toilet without an accident.
I was proud of myself and sighed in relief when my pee gushed forward. I moaned, and lifted my head, opening my eyes, which I hadn’t even noticed I closed.
Then I screamed.
I grabbed the first thing, which was a towel in front of me, to cover my lower half. Only the towel I grabbed someone else had been holding it.”
“Someone else had been using it.
To dry themselves.
Oh dear God.
I had grabbed it, throwing it over me, which in turn gave me a view of everything.
As in everything.
“You have a penis,” I yelled as I stared at the item in front of me. I hadn’t seen one in the flesh in over two years.
Mr. Salvatore placed his hands on his hips and said, “It happens when you’re a man.”
“What… how… why?” I asked his penis.
“Miss Wallis.”
“You….” I blinked.
Holy gosh darn. He was big.
And getting bigger. How was that possible? A whimper fell from my dry lips.
“Miss Wallis.”
“I think….” What did I think? I liked it, that was for sure. I liked his penis. Could a woman not like the man but his penis instead? Well, obviously she could because I was doing it.
Two years without seeing one and all I wanted to do was touch it, stroke it, and maybe even lick it.
It was wrong on so many levels.
Mr. Salvatore bent. I scrunched lower to keep my eyes on his penis, but he stopped me with his finger under my chin. “Adalyn,” he[…]”

Oh my goodness y'all!
I had tears running down my face from laughing so hard at Making Sense. I was so loud I woke my kids up 😂. I couldn't help it though, Making Sense is so adorably awkward. I am still laughing at some of the antics between Vice and Addy. This book was so perfect. The writing was spectacularly funny, the characters (all of them) will have you rolling, and the banter between everyone? Perfection. Absolute comedy perfection. There wasn't a character I hated, except maybe Cammy. Everyone else was awesome!
Addy is a divorced single mom working at a sex shop to make ends meet. A chance encounter with the owner of the company sparks a love/hate relationship with Addy. Vice is a hot single guy who instantly likes Addy. He doesn't show it though. Bring in sisters, a scheming son, a mom who is trying to help her daughter get some, and a bathroom and we've got one of the funniest books I've ever read. Addy's son Drew really helped this book soar. This wasn't a story that puts the kids in the background and focuses on the adults falling in love. Drew was front and center and a big part of the story. We get to see them both fall in love with Vice, and Vice fall in love with them both.
This book will make you swoon and then fall on your ass laughing. Like mid swoon you fall over because Addy does an awkward thing! I love everything about this book and really need more Lila Rose books in my library!
